One of the few termite companies in town that treats drywood termites without tenting your whole house with poison. They came out and inspected the area of concern, gave us a quote, and when we decided to move forward they returned in a timely manner. If I could give this place a zero I would. Normally, I don't like to write negative reviews. I paid over 1k for termite treatment in 2022 with a warranty. Here we are in 2025 and still termites. They have "retreated" twice. Scheduling has been a nightmare. Today they scheduled me for a "termite inspection" only to be waiting past my scheduled time. I called and was told they didn't have me on the schedule even though I had a text. After, calling they tried to schedule me for tomorrow only to inspect the outside? So, they don't care about the holes they drilled into my wall the last time? I told them to forget it I will have to find someone else and don't want to do business with them anymore. I think at this point I have given them 3 years to make it right. I should be asking for a refund but am sure all I will get is them trying to make an attempt to "make it right". And then the icing on the cake is they call me an hour later to schedule my quarterly pest control?? read more

Vernon has been with us for approximately 2 years now and has done a great job for us. Very very rude people. I work close by and the only spot of grass is close to their office. When walking my puppy in the morning one off the office's car alarms went off scaring my puppy. Then this afternoon I was yelled at by one of the office workers for walking my puppy on the grass, but she was unaware I was a customer of theirs. It turns out the car alarm that went off was the owners who must have set it off on purpose. It speaks volumes to me on how people treat everyone, so I promptly cancelled my service. Their service was fine but the people in the office are awful. I hope if you go with them you have a better experience. read more

I will start by saying that every single one of PP's technicians have been AMAZING. Stellar customer service from them -- they have been thoughtful, detailed, and extremely professional. I have nothing against the technicians PP's hires, but just be prepared to deal with horrible customer service with the administrative staff. I tried to skip a month because they've been doing such a great job and have had no bugs -- this was a bad decision apparently as it was going to result in a quarterly service cancellation fee, a contract restart fee, and increased quarterly fees...just for trying to skip a month! If this was a no-no, I was not aware nor told. Instead the manager was extremely rude to me and hung up on me when I told him his etiquette was the reason I was taking my business somewhere else. I hired Pied Piper to catch a family of skunks at my house but apparently they don't employ effective measures to catch them. The reason I am unhappy with their service is the failure to supply an invoice, failure to properly take payment, and failure to explain that visits to reload bait counted against the number of times they came out. It was a flat out lie that "pickups" meaning they caught something is only thing that counted against how many times they'd come out. I wasn't given a follow up call to even tell me they failed to catch them. Anyone looking to hire this company look elsewhere. As a disabled vet I rely on companies I hire to do a good job because I can't do it myself. Thanks for wasting my money and time. read more

Pied Piper Pest Control on Jones Maltsberger is a dishonest company. Maybe because we are senior citizens They thought they would take advance of us. They quoted us $1,000 to treat our house for termites, Pied Piper promised to treat our foundation every 18 inches but I have not seen any evidence they did that. It looks more like they treated every 3 feet After we paid the $1000.00 They sent us a letter said they would not honor the warranty because we had paid $1,000 and not the $1,004.02. What was $4.02 for? Over $4.02 they will not honor the warranty, I suspect they will use any excuse not to honor any warranty they have. read more

very unhappy will no longer be using them. asked them to not treat my backyard. I have egg laying hens and do not want pesticides in my eggs. Told them to cancel the service while I was out of town. When I got home I noticed white granules scattered around the back and front porches and in the flower beds very apparent contrast to the red mulch. 2 weeks later I received a bill for full service and realized they had been here even though I told them not too and called the office to complain. They then scheduled someone to finish spraying the inside of my house. The tech swore up and down that he did not treat my back yard even though I saw the granules and confronted him and asked why the bill was for the house and the total yard. I will not have some one dishonest at my home especially when I am out of town and he blamed it on the office. read more

The gentleman who came out was polite and throughout. He treated our house quickly, while being able to cover all of our place, inside and out. I would definitely recommend you should try them. Moved into a new home recently, and some sparrows decided to do the same over the porch. There were about 5 nests that I wanted removed, assuming that eggs hadn't hatched. Pied Piper was very cautious and asked for photos of the birds to make sure they weren't protected, and then came out and removed the nests and installed a bird repellent over all the beams that could be used for nest construction. The technicians and the sales associate, Shauna, were very pleasant. Shauna was very delightful but the manager, Shari, is another story... she was rude and condescending. They gave me rates over the phone and all of them were different depending on the contract you choose or people you speak to. I never received the list of rates in writing from the office so it was difficult to keep up with them all. At the time of service I wanted to have the house sprayed for fleas and ticks but the technician did not have paperwork/contract or supplies for this. Therefore, I did not sign the annual contract yet I paid for the service provided. I called the office later & asked to add the additional flea/tick service to the contract agreement. They were not willing to honor their initial rates as given over the phone and wanted to charge me for a one time visit (which was more expensive on the initial visit). No one could get on the same page. It became a "he said-she said" scenario. Shari acted like it was my fault and said she was "skeptical" to help us out which was ridiculous and insulting. As a paying costumer, I should be the one skeptical of this service and had the right to be especially since they wanted me to go into a contract on the initial visit Prior to even inspecting the house. As a result, a consumer is unaware if it will even work and if you break the contract agreement there is a fee of over $90... Anyways, we ended up paying the $200 for a one time treatment just to break ties. Gladly, we won't be using them again... and will be going with someone that can honor their initial quotes. If I could give zero stars I would! I haven't even had the opportunity to use their services yet. The low rating is because of their office/scheduling help. They recently bought Ardent's book of business in the San Antonio area and scheduled an upcoming appointment with me. Unfortunately something came up and I needed to cancel that appointment. Since then they have texted me reminders about appointments I haven't made, not showed up for the one I did make and then this morning showed up at my door. No phone call or text reminder. The poor guy got it from me with both barrels even though it isn't his fault. I was listed on his daily route. I told him the problems I've had with the office and told him they need to get their shit together. Apparently good customer service is not a priority with this company.
