i love this copy shop! Most recently i needed color business cards printed in a short window and they were done the same day! They let me know as soon as they were done. They did a beautiful job. I have been coming here for over 20 years. I use them for posters, zines, postcards, you name it. They are always lovely and produce great looking stuff exactly as requested. I write this because one enters an absurd world here where reasonable standards do not apply. $8 for 4 basic b&w copies. Just horribly overpriced. I even brought in one of the four sheets of 8.5 x 11 paper. A $4 service charge no matter how small the job and strange color copy charges other than the usual 15 cents per b&w print make me regret ever trying to support this local place, again. I can't help but observe how many of the 5-star reviews are from Yelpers with no other reviews or only 0-2 friends. Not a pleasant place in reality. read more

Brought in a usb and the gal was so nice and understanding in helping me get the imaged sized and providing a sample within minutes. Excellent work. SAVE THE DATES - great work on our Save the date invitations! Called and got information and details to send on a Friday . Sent the file on a Friday and was informed would be ready by Monday ! Sizing was different then the file so they contacted me and gave the updated sizing. They even threw in the envelopes with addresses! Everything was ready in 2 hours ! Perfect end result! I had really high hopes for this place based on the reviews. Great for quick simple jobs (that's what I observed) like ringed binders and simple posters. Fast? Yes. Quality? Ok. However. Helpful? Awful. Customer service oriented? Absolutely, not present. The staff has no clue what is going on, or how to communicate with customers. I witnessed a terrible escalation today between Fatima and a young woman who just seemed to ask normal customer questions. Fatima took the items out of the customers hands and declared she didn't want to sell them to her or work with her. I've never been so shocked at such awful treatment. God forbid they help someone or take time to explain the process of how to properly send files for their formatting, or what a customers options are, and how much they cost. I won't be back. I would never want to support a business like this based on what I saw! read more

Still a phenomenonial print shop! I went in yesterday and made a mistake when printing a number of stickers (it was my fault) and when I returned, they immediately took responsibility (I told them it was my fault and not to worry) and reprinted the pages for free. This is the kind of thing that makes repeat customers! In my last review, I mentioned how kind the staff was towards my young son, and now every time I come in without him, they always ask how he is doing and tell me to tell him hello. I never ever have reviewed a small business negatively, but the service I experienced was absolutely the worst. I requested a simple postcard to be designed; gave all of the pertinent information for the project. two weeks later I called as hadn't heard from them and was given the run around from Fatima telling me that she was working on the postcard and would email me the file for approval in just "30 minutes" this was said to me on four different days, and nothing was emailed. When the file was finally sent my logo and information wasn't on it and the postcard looked like it was randomly taken from the internet and sent to me I really had high hopes for this place and wanted so much to support a small business in my community however the customer service is absolutely awful. especially Fatima the person I was dealing with is not customer service oriented and has no clue of what is going on. read more

I'm super-pleased with an order of postcards I had made today. I used to get our holiday cards made at a large/national mail-order printer, but this year I wondered why I'd always done that before and why not go local? So this morning, I called Piedmont Copy & Printing, and one other local (franchise) print shop. Piedmont understood what I wanted and gave me a quote over the phone, and said it was about a day's job. The other print shop told me it would be about 8 business days, and their quote was higher. I called Piedmont Copy in the afternoon to follow up (as I had only gotten the auto-response to my email with file/specs) to see what the ETA was on their confirming the project. I believe I spoke with Fatima, who said that if I wanted to go forward with the project I could pick it up at 6 pm. "What day?" "Today." Today?! What, Piedmont Copy & Printing?! I'm going to have these holiday cards done before the actual holidays? And I'm going to seem like I'm on top of my social-niceties game?! AMAZING. At any rate: the cards look great and they're on a cardstock that seems fine, and I'm mailing them out, like, tomorrow. I needed a ~200ish page job printed and also wanted binding. Fatima answered my initial call and told me how to send the file and when I could expect it to be ready. We emailed back and forth about a few options, and she was patient, friendly, and professional, making sure I had the information I needed. I went to pick up my order and noticed how spacious the space was, which felt particularly good in a pandemic! Even though I'd opted to print the order in black and white as a lower budget choice, Fatima printed the first page in color because she thought it would look better. They used a coil binding that seems durable and like it won't snag too easily on other things. I'm super happy with the finished product, and want to keep supporting this family-owned business! Like many teachers we pay for things out our own pockets because our school machines are unreliable or copy paper hasn't been provided. My first day syllabus is printed here. This place is a godsend for me, since it is local, and I like going here on occasion when I need a job done as it blows Kinkos out of the waters (which gets a 1 star because they're not all too great anymore-well past anymore). So while it does get a recommendation from me, there's a couple reasons for the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 stars. First the customer service is less than warm and I get a not much a greeting even after saying hello, or even leaving when wishing them a good evening. Nothing. Not as much as feeling welcomed or valued. The other reason is sort of a breech of personal information. Or me getting someone else's personal sensitive documents. I did an order for some inserts for a record coming out and had to fold all of them. When I came towards the end of the papers needed folded, there were some extra papers, three to be exact. At first I glanced at them, thinking they were the invoices of my order. But instead, one was a form for a dentist. No biggie. Recycle that, then. The other, however, was some personal information from another person that was for some legal thing or something. Since their address was on the form that I mailed it back to them with a note stating where I had gotten the papers from, in error, and hope that they got it. Had it been the opposite where it was sensitive personal information that was MINE and it accidentally went to god-knows-who, that would be scary and unnerving. So I was not happy about that. So there you go. Still recommend them, but they could use more (genuine) customer service, and maybe pay a little more attention of whose papers go to whom. read more

I'm already planning to go back to them for my next print needs. I've taken three different print jobs to PC&P over the last several weeks and they've done a wonderful job every time. There was one small problem with my first order which was really just a miscommunication and they resolved it very quickly. My next two orders were perfect.
