Oakland Copy & Print is my neighbor printer and they are incredible, I have my own printer at home but trust them for big print jobs and programs for shows/trainings and printed photos. I relied on them for a huge print job with hundreds of stakeholders and they did a great job and didn't charge a rush fee like many printing services in the area. IF I COULD GIVE PRO COPY AND PRINTING 100 STARS, I WOULD! It has been a long time since I've worked with a company that truly cared about their customer's needs. I called with the need for a rush order, I felt so bad, but I literally needed it printed and delivered in a 20 minute window. Gotta say, pretty disappointed with this place. Needed flyers done, thought I was getting a good deal with their $0.45 per copy coupon. When I spoke with the woman on the phone she ensured me that it would be just 45 cents per page regardless if it is double sided or not. Great to have copy services in the neighborhood. Access to a computer as well. Internet is a bit slow however does the job. Print are quick & easy. They can also print multiple bulk print jobs simultaneously. I find myself there often making copies for work so I don't have to use my home ink too fast. You can bring documents or print jobs on a drive or you can use their computer to check your email & print from there yourself. read more

$16.06 to scan seven pages and email them to me. $2 a page. UPS is $3.50 at .50 cents a page. Staff tried to tell me that was somehow justified. Took her ten seconds scan it, probably used less then 2 cents for electricity. I was initially happy to have a place locally owned to go to but after being price gouged I will never return again. read more

My mother is a senior and went to this place to handle a very important business matter. The man that works there tried to handle a male customer who came in after her and accidentally emailed that man's document to her email recipient. He was given 3 email recipients and had two email addresses incorrect. After being told that he sent her documents to the wrong email address, the lady tried to send my mother away after paying. I had to call and DEMAND that they email HER documents to the CORRECT email addresses. They are VERY unprofessional and only want your money! read more

I'm all about shopping local because that's what builds our communities. Oakland Copy and Print was actually not my first, or second, or top three choices to stop by for copying needs. My usual place was unfortunately closed on Saturdays and I really needed photocopies. I yelped a couple of places nearby Oakland where I usually get it done and I didn't find what I was looking for. It extended my search to Berkeley, which I wasn't trying to drive to. Oakland Copy and Print was in Oakland in the Laurel District, a place I'm familiarye with so I took a 20 minutes drive out to Oakland on a rainy Saturday to get my copies done. There's street parking and the spaces are pretty wide. It's not too hard to park or to stop the print shop. It's technically on a corner, but really still on the block the first building edge you see after the mini driveway. It has a sign outside and a banner on the side wall, so easy to spot. It's also the one with a white gate, that's closed and a fabulous Yelptastic sticker! I walked in and I was instantly greeted by Paul, who helped me through the entire process. I had to get some black and white copies done, printed on both sides and he able to do that for me instantly. I really appreciate that he doesn't charge a different price for self service printing vs him helping make the copies that I needed. His prices are just as amazing as my other favorite print shop, extremely reasonable. If it's anywhere between 1-100 copies it will be 5 cent a page and if anymore, it would 3 cents a page. Amazing prices and you're getting a better deal, better service, and giving business to your local entrepreneur. That is the yelp way, This print shop does more than regular printing, including copies, cd covers, banners anything you can think of or need, Paul and his wife and definitely take care of you. TIP: You can email him your documents and just let him know what you need, by the time you get there, it will be ready for you and no wait. My at home printer is having some issues and this place seemed close and affordable. I get there an hour before the store closes and ring the doorbell multiple times over the span of 10 minutes. I look through the window and the person who was supposed to come to the door and help with the printing was on her phone and just letting the time go by. This is highly unprofessional and wasted a lot of time when I could have gone down to FedEx first. I wanted to support a smaller business but I do not plan on ever going back and requesting this store's services. read more

This place is meh. I liked using this place because I could easily email them any request. (It might take a day for them to confirm though). I can stroll in and check the proof and then they would have it ready a few hours later. I can't say they're the best because they lack communication and today is the third time I come to the business to find it closed - despite being here during their posted business hours. Decent spot to pick up UPS items from. Unfortunately they do have weight restrictions so if you're picking up something like a grocery pull cart from Amazon, then it will get sent to your home. Unfortunately my area has a high theft rate so it's a gamble. read more

Had some communications issues getting my order to print, just missed communications over email. Quality is fine. Price was around what I expected. $40ish to print 30 11x17 posters. When I asked them if they could mail my order to me because my car was suddenly in the shop, they personally dropped them off at my house! That service will make me a repeat customer. Very friendly & great prices! This is way better than the big chain copier places and the folks working there are always so nice! They offer PO Boxes but I'm usually there to send faxes or make copies. I always do full-service because the prices are good enough that there's no gain in doing them myself (Plus, I hate operating copy machines). Also, there's the Laurel Library right across the street so there's a good place to go if you don't want to wait for your 25-page fax to go through. I love this place so MUCH ! Cheapest place in Bay Area. 3 cents per copy (min. 100)- Unlike other places- they required you to make 100+ of the same copies. At this location, all you need to make is 100+ copies combined. Under 100 copies- I believe it's 5 cents- still a bargain. Then again, I'll just make the copies at work for free.. lol read more

Best copy deal going!! The owner pointed me to one copier and the pages were sticking together in the feeder when I was using it. I couldn't have that since I was copying over 100 pages. Called before I came and I was instructed to send and email of what I wanted printed. I Ididn't even know he was the owner bc he was just talking to his friend. Totally ignored me for at least 4 mins. He received my email and tried to print the word document and said his computer was too old and I would have have to login to a "computer over there" while he went back to talk to his friend. I logged in to my email and printed. Once he rang me up, he charged me for using the computer. I told him that was unfair bc I sent him a simple word document per his instructions over the phone BEFORE I came in and he told me "No, you should just be grateful I helped you" totally disrespectful!!! The prices have increased but that is probably due to the weak dollar. This copy center makes me feel like I have an assistant. i can email my copies with instructions and they complete the order. if they need clarification they call. I call when I email to make sure they have gotten it. They have done huge jobs on short notice and they have the equipment necessary to fulfill a variety of needs, that includes a variety of hole punch devices, covers and bindings. I called ahead and asked how much would the printing be and they said $8 for 60 pages. Going in for the first time and I wasnt really greeted or asked if I needed help. When i printed the pages the total came out to be ridicously expensive. The person who was at the cashier was the person i talked to on the phone and at that moment I felted cheated. I ended up paying the fee but I will never shop there again. Not only that I asked to have the pages double sided but ended up with the same page on both sides and inverted. read more

I needed to print some flyers, so I popped in here in order to support a local business. They were very friendly and accommodating, but the copies that they made me weren't the best quality. I'm sure that this place would be fine to print out pages with just text, or if you're in a hurry, but maybe not the best place if you need quality images/flyers printed. read more

Terrible service for 1 she charged me 65.00 for only 250 business cards then after telling this lady 5 times and writing it on paper for her she still made the cards the color she wanted instead of the color I wanted I feel bad for paying first, WILL NEVER RETURN IN LIFE........... We use Oakland Copy & Print for all our printing needs. We have never had a problem w/ Oakland Copy & Print. We send the majority of files that need to be printed via email. We follow up w/ a phone call to make sure the files are received. Documents are printed in a timely manner. We call prior to picking up documents. We are always greeted by a nice lady when we pick up. No complaints here. read more

I called to confirm that they provide a notary service. They said yes. I stopped by and they told me someone across the street would do it. I went to H&R Block and they don't notarize. I'm convinced Oakland Copy & Print don't know what they're doing. Avoid if at all possible. read more

As far as print shops go, this was pretty good. They accept credit cards and don't overcharge you on the time spent accessing your email in order to print something out. read more
