The nurse that took my vitals did not enter my blood pressure, pulse rate, and the pharmacy I requested in the system. She informed me what my vitals were 132/85 and 60 but entered higher readings in the system. She also asked me what pharmacy I use. I told her Walgreens at Hudson Bridge Rd and she entered CVS on Jonesboro Road. I had to drive back to the facility and asked the pharmacy location changed. I had the worst experience here. I brought my 10 month old baby here bc he was not himself he was screaming and just didn't feel good it turns out he had covid but I wasn't told for over 3 hrs. I waited an hour to go back and 2 hrs for a swab which I wasn't told what it was for and didn't recieve any information regarding his care. He had a temp of 100.4 and didn't give him anything or tell me if I could I had to go down the hall to recieve any information just for them to get mad and slam my door will never go back read more

Here I am in pain and trying to explain I do not have a copay because my deductible and out of pocket has been met in full. I spoke with Ashley R. in the billing department and she confirmed she could see where I met my deductible and out of pocket. But because the system shows a copay, I have to pay it!! Unbelievable!! the experience I had at this facility was absolutely terrible, I was in the waiting room for 4 hours before being seen. I had an opened cut from a knife that required stitches and I was sitting bleeding down my arm. seriously if this was a time for urgent care this would be it. I should have went to the emergency room instead but i thought this would be faster but I was wrong very wrong. The Henry County Hospital in this area is just as bad when it comes to getting seen. This place is ran by liars. First beware they need a card put on file and you have to sign something about charges upto $300. I wasn't to concerned because I had insurance and didn't think they would need to charge my card. So I went and sat in the waiting area for 1.5hours. Which was excessive. I kept checking for how much longer I had to wait. They finally called me back the medical assistant took my VITALS ONLY and asked why I was there and said the doctor will be in soon. I waited another 30 mins no doctor. I said I'm over it and left. I stopped by the front desk told the man working that I was leaving. I told him the doctor did not see me and ONLY my vitals were taken. He said ok don't worry about it. I left. Then a about 8 weeks later I have a charge on my card. I'm like why am I being charged no services were rendered. I left. I immediately call billing and tell them I want my money back because they did not service me I left. So I'm told someone would look into into this after many calls and being told the manager hasn't responded and it's still being looked into, this has gone on for 3 going into 4 weeks now. Only for me to be told I will not be refunded because the DOCTOR diagnosed me.. WTF! You talking about. The Doctor never saw me and he or she and everyone else who wrote that false report are liars!!!! Are u F'N kidding me, so y'all gonna lie. I am waiting in a phone call back been 2 days. So I am starting with this review then I am going to call corporate and then I am gonna blast them on social media. I must give this place well-deserved love. We had to be seen in March 2024 for a sports injury and needed X-rays. The atmosphere was pleasant, there was minimal wait time (I booked the appointment online and completed electronic documentation), and the care was excellent. For this to be a medical facility and expected long wait times, it was ridiculous when the receptionist informed me I would have to take my 5 yr old child across the street to a gas station for her to use the restroom because weren't allowed to use their restrooms. I called to see if I could bring my 10 month old daughter to be seen because she was vomiting and couldn't keep anything down and I was told that they would be able to take her. when I got there at 9:30am I was told that I needed an appointment and the next available was at 11:20 even though there were only 3 people waiting. One of the ladies that was waiting because she also didn't have an appointment had what appeared a sprained wrist and was even crying of the pain and they ignored her and told her she had to wait until her appointment time. never mind that i waited inside and as I waited they didn't take me in until 12:15 and not even 20 minutes later and they tell me there's nothing they can do about it and referred me to a children's hospital. when I got to the hospital they were confused as to why I was sent there when all they had to prescribe was Zofran. read more

So far I've had great service from the 3 ladies I've encountered! If I can get names, I'll update; Receptionist who sat directly in front of the window, the young lady who took my vitals, & the NP with long braids. Super sweet & lively which is a overall great atmosphere to be around especially during current times. They do have a tent set in front for those who are feeling symptomatic of COVID-19 and offer drive up services for them so you don't have to get out of your vehicle. The only issue I did see was in the ladies bathroom, the automatic soap dispenser doesn't work & the bottle of soap was nearly empty... I was able to get enough out but it should definitely be changed. Lastly, the water for washing hands gets nice & hot for proper hand washing! By far the worst experience I have ever had in a medical center. I will not only never go back to this location but I will no longer use Piedmont Healthcare. This experience was unprofessional and negligent. I came into the urgent care at McDonough at 12:30pm and when I arrived they said the earliest appointment was at 3:12pm. They gave me a slot for 3:12pm to 3:18pm. I left and returned later at 3:12pm. I was asked to provide my credit card for a $299 hold in case my insurance doesn't cover the cost of my visit. This is apparently a policy for this location. I am fully insured by a credible insurance company but I provided my card so that I could be seen. I sat in the lobby for almost an hour before I was seen at 4:00pm. When I was finally bought in the back to be examined, the Physician Assistant JaNa Holyfield seemed as though she was listening and trying to understand what my symptoms were to properly diagnose me. I was suffering from ear pain and flu/sinus infection like symptoms. She told me that I probably had COVID. I explained that I already had COVID a few months ago and that I am also vaccinated and this felt different. She check my ear channel and stated that she didn't see anything. She said she would give me a COVID test. When she left a Nurse arrived shortly after to take my vitals and swab me for the COVID test. I asked the Nurse if I could also be tested for flu and strep throat. The Nurse said she would check with PA JaNa Holyfield. I also explained that I had MyChart through Piedmont therefore I didn't need to wait for the COVID results. I then sat in the examination room for 30 minutes without any word or check ins. I went to the Nurses reception desk and asked about my request for additional tests. I was told someone would be with me and I hadn't been forgotten. I went back to my assignment room and waited an additional 15 minutes. At the time I was in the examination room for a total of 45 minutes without any word from anyone. At 4:58pm, I went back to the Nurses reception desk and asked again about the other tests. I was told again that someone would be checking back with me and I wasn't allowed to leave until I received my discharge paperwork and my COVID results. I informed them again that I had MyChart and I didn't need to wait in the examination room to receive the results. I stated that I wanted to be tested for flu and strep throat. I went back to room and decided to wait with the door open so I could see if anyone came by. I got an alert on my phone that my results were in MyChart and the COVID test was negative. 10 additional minutes passed and at 5:09 pm PA JaNa Holyfield came back and gave me my discharge paperwork and stated that my Covid test was negative. I told her I already knew that from MyChart but I was waiting to be tested for flu and strep and that I had been waiting for 45 minutes. PA JaNa Holyfield become very unprofessional and rude and told me that she would not test me for flu or strep because my ear pain, runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing and coughing was not symptoms that she could justify giving me a flu or strep throat test for. She mentioned insurance wouldn't cover and that I needed to "just take something for it" because I hadn't taken anything yet and that was probably why I was still in pain. I got upset. I told her who my employer was and that my insurance through employment would cover the test. She said to me "good for you". I got more upset and said that I didn't need to argue and I left. I never received a proper diagnosis for my symptoms. My discharge paperwork says I have nasal congestion which I do not and recommends I take OTC Allergy medicine. I don't believe that PA JaNa Holyfield has any regard for her patients' well-being and she allowed her hectic workload of the day to affect her ability to properly treat and diagnose patients. read more

Services at this well care were less than satisfactory. Billing at for this location is a nightmare. The practitioner spent literally 3 minutes with me and called medications in to a pharmacy which was already closed and did nothing for severe hydration. I informed the intake clerk that my out of pocket maximum had been met, she still insisted that a co-payment was required. Being in there for an urgent matter I did feel the need to argue, she informed me that. Liking would be happy to take the matter up. A whole trail emails later, several phone calls confirming that I am correct to be issued a refund billing maintains that no refund is owed. read more

This urgent care is terrible. As others have mentioned the wait times are ridiculous and excessive, even with almost no one in the lobby. When you complain about the wait times the nurses become rude and unprofessional. I was asked by an Indian nurse if understood that I was at an urgent care. She needs to be fired, and should not work with the general public. Especially when the word URGENT is being completely disregarded. The wait to exam time is efficient, especially given the volume. My scripts were called right in and available by the time arrived at the pharmacy. The PA was knowledgeable and corrected a miss in my prior treatment (from a PC). But the staff here rocks! Everyone I dealt with from reception, to vitals, to exam made me smile laugh. Which is a great thing when you are sick. Polite, professional and a great attitude. I can't stress enough what a difference that makes. read more

During this horrible flu season, I had the fortune of catching the flu. I went online and checked the times of all of the emergency rooms in my area everything was over an hours wait. I decided to go to the Urgent Care Center less than 2 miles from my house. When I walked in there were about 8 people in front of me and then two walked in behind me. The staff at the front desk were welcoming although I could tell they had been there dealing with quite a bit of people. In the waiting area they have a designated kids area which has an interactive for the kids & a television that was set on a kids appropriate channel. The rest of the waiting area was big enough that you weren't crammed in with everyone else coughing and sneezing. It took about 20 25 minutes to get called into the back for my vitals and immediately put into a room to see the doctor. The doctor is very pleasant. I was in and out of urgent care in about 30-40 minutes with my prescription and diagnosis and I couldn't have been happier. The only thing I did not like or understand was although they verify your insurance they require a credit card in order for you to be seen. Nobody else seemed to have a problem with it so maybe it's how the Urgent Care works. I will start utilizing this Urgent Care Center more. read more

I went to this urgent care two days about about sore throat, body aches, fever, etc. I already had covid prior so I knew it wasn't that. The nurse practitioner barley looked at me & had a nurse swab me for flu/covid (even though I already had covid). Both test were negative but she treated me for the flu anyways. Now it's two days later and I'm pretty sure it's strep. The whole staff is rude. If you're looking for an urgent care local I would recommend MedLife near the square of McDonough. read more
