This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had with a restaurant. I placed an order for three pizzas directly through the Pieology website. When the order was delivered, only two pizzas arrived. The delivery was handled by DoorDash, but the order was placed through Pieology's own website, meaning the restaurant is responsible for fulfilling the order. To make matters even clearer, the delivery photo shown inside the Pieology app under the tracking information clearly shows only two pizzas were delivered, despite my receipt showing three. I immediately tried calling the restaurant multiple times -- no one answered the phone. I contacted DoorDash and they confirmed what I already suspected: they only deliver what the restaurant gives them, and because the order was placed through Pieology's website, the restaurant must issue the refund. I drove back to the restaurant that same night to resolve the issue, only to find it closed even though Yelp listed the location as open. I called again the following day -- still no answer. So I had to drive back to the store again just to speak with someone. I eventually spoke with the general manager, Linda, who offered no real help and said "maybe the DoorDash driver kept one of the pizzas." That's not the customer's responsibility to investigate. Pieology hires DoorDash, not the customer. If something is missing from the order, the restaurant should refund the customer and handle the issue with their delivery partner internally. Instead, I was basically told too bad and no refund was issued for the pizza I paid for but never received. Between the missing food, poor pizza quality, phones never being answered, incorrect store hours online, and management refusing to take responsibility, this location is clearly being run poorly. At this point I will be contacting Pieology corporate directly and providing the order receipt and the delivery photo from the Pieology app showing only two pizzas were delivered. The young guy behind the counter spoke so soft that it was hard to hear. But I managed to order the chicken BBQ pizza. My father in law can't have greasy staff. So he ordered the pizza with a few veggies. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for our pizza to be ready. We took pizza home and enjoyed the pizza. There were delicious. I liked the thin crust and toppings. The size is a bit smaller than a regular pizza place. So, you may want to order some extra if you are hungry. This place has the best cauliflower crust pizza ever. The employees are Pleasant and helpful. Ordering through the app is convenient and quick and earning bonus points is a plus. The Ambiance is nice however I like to listen to my phone and watch videos while I eat if I'm alone and if I'm enjoying company I like to be able to have conversation however most places nowadays force you to listen to music of their choice which sometimes is not pleasant for an eating environment experience but the worst of it is that the music is so loud that you can't enjoy conversation nor have a quiet moment. Despite requesting a little more cheese, I was informed that no additional mozzarella could be added, even after explaining that it was my only topping choice. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Pieology was an absolute disaster. After waiting 15 minutes for my order, I had to find out from the staff that they'd mixed up everyone's pizzas and had no clue which order belonged to who. Seriously? I ended up having to remake my own order and wait ANOTHER 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the place was filthy--garbage cans overflowing, tables covered in trash, and zero effort to clean up. I am not one to leave a review but I have been coming to Pieology on Flagler since it opened. I can say that the last two times coming have been very disappointing. The chairs, tables, and floor are super dirty, food crumbs left all over the place. Workers seem very lazy and rude also seemed very disappointed to be there .It doesn't feel welcoming anymore. I placed a pick up order through UBER it told me it would be ready at 12:40 and when I got there order wasn't even being made yet I had to wait till 1:15 to get my order. Every time i sit down to eat I have to be the one to clean my own table and seats it's very disgusting. It is not my job to be cleaning up after other people in a restaurant. Lemonade also tasted like WATER. I don't want to return to this place again. read more
