We paid around $30 for the 3 of us, round trip. When you arrive, just get in a lane with your vehicle. Vehicles will enter in order of arrival. Fine for those who cut so please don't. If you don't make it on the ferry, then you'll have to wait for the next one. Have your tickets available, online or printed. While you're waiting, there's a cafe and eateries nearby. Once on Anderson island, there's a general store, museum, gift shop, sometimes garden market and other events, a couple of lakes, Air B&Bs. Definitely popular during the weekend so plan accordingly. When heading back on the ferry, line up the same way you arrived. If you're lucky an ice cream truck may stop by, otherwise not much to keep people occupied.

Rates are shown with discounts for seniors and children. Your ticket is 'round trip, so be sure to hang on to it if printed. Once you arrive, be sure to get your car in line (lines 1-2) and await directions to drive on. The trip to Anderson Island is about 20 minutes, time enough for you to leave your car and go up top for pictures or to stretch your legs. There's a cabin area with tables that you can sit at and eat a snack if you brought one. There's also a convenience store and a park close by the port if you get there early.

Why is it that Washington state has all this gravel and debris and it tends to have people driving over the debris hitting other cars damaging vehicles. Washington state you need to do better clean your highways on the side of the road. I actually took pictures of Texas and I actually took pictures on 167. The roadways need to be fixed and cleaned up street sweeping or highway sweeping is very much needed. You cannot tell me that we can't afford it. Washington state has enough money for highway sweepers to clean up the debris and glass on all highways. I have provided a picture of their highway and what it looks like on 167. WSDOT DO BETTER! I also got notification that you were supposed to fix the roadway on 186 or 183rd St. in Puyallup and you have not done that yet. You've done everything else by adding sidewalks for pedestrians, but you have not fixed the roadway

It really makes a city look seedy and scary. I'm in Palm Springs now and it is cleaned up immediately . Walls and signs should be made inaccessible to the vandals. The City of Seattle should sue WSDOT for their disregard of the City of Seattle and it's residents.

Plan accordingly. http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ Outdoor adventures keeps the guided groups small (maximum 12 people). I appreciate the small groups since this was my first time kayaking. Three types of kayaks are available: single, double or triple occupancy. Discover is an accepted form of payment. A Discover Pass is required to park at Spencer Spit. If you do not have a pass, a $10 day pass can be purchased with cash or check. There were several rangers checking passes on our visit so be sure to have a pass visibly displayed to avoid being ticketed. WHAT TO BRING - Signed Release of Liability - Bathing suit or non-cotton under layers preferred - A synthetic shirt (capilene, polypro, Under Armor, etc) - Shorts or pants made of a synthetic material (may get wet/damp) - Lightweight fleece jacket or windbreaker/rain jacket to provide warmth - Water shoes or sandals that strap on (or shoes that can get wet) - Sun hat and/or sunglasses - Sunscreen and chapstick - Water bottle - Optional; Camera, Plastic bag for wet items and change of clothing - If you have a gift certificate or prepaid voucher (such as Groupon) please bring a printed copy with you! Dorito Dan was our guide for the day. Dan was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The first hour is dedicated to introductions, procedures and safety. Be sure to use the restroom before departing. Once on the water, there is no turning back. Kayaking is great for teamwork and communication. Both are required to avoid frustration. I recommend wearing weight-lifting/bicycle gloves in order to prevent blisters. Each person in our group started getting blisters towards the end of the tour. During our 3 mile kayaking trip, we spotted starfish, seals and majestic bald eagles. Thank you Outdoor Adventures for providing a magnificent day of play while surrounded by gorgeous Mother Nature. We all plan to return in the near future for another go-around.

From the very first day of working with him to plan and organize our trip of a lifetime, we felt we were in great hands. Phil's fantastic first-hand knowledge of the camps allowed him to create a trip that far surpassed the typical group package deals. Phil meticulously plans every detail of the trip, from the best places to stay to recover from jet lag before the safari, to every transfer. You are never left wondering where to go or if someone will be there to meet you. The camps he chooses are small and personal, where you are taken care of and treated like family. The safari experience is second to none, with personal drivers and guides who are excellent, highly skilled, and knowledgeable. If you want a safari experience to remember, I can't recommend Phil and On Safari-In enough!

We didn't know anything about going on safari, and Phil build a custom trip that catered to exactly our personal travel style of going to some of the more off-the-beaten-path places with fewer tourists, but still lots of amazing experiences (we watched a family of elephants chase off a pair of male lions!). Everyone we met was on their 4th or 10th safari and when they found out we'd never been before, they'd always ask, "So how did you even find this place?" Also I had no idea you could have a vacation with this much adventure and yet zero stress. Having Phil take care of everything and getting it all arranged for and paid in advance took a HUGE load off of us, which was so great as we both have jobs where we typically do a lot of planning and project management. By taking care of that, Phil let us go on an exciting vacation where we actually got to RELAX. We took literally THOUSANDS of amazing photos, but here are just a couple fun ones I shot with my phone.
