Great service and another delicious meal at Piero's Corner. Went for Father's Day. Didn't get pictures of everyone else's meals, but they all enjoyed the food!

Really enjoyed my experience and food this visit. I love coming here and getting their carbonara and Pasta & Fagioli. They typically have great lunch deals, but I think they recently updated their menu and now some options are not available for the lunch deals. Lunch deal is everyday till 3pm. We ordered the: Bread $7 4/5 Pasta & Fagioli soup $10 5/5 Carbonara $21 (not including added chicken) 4/5 Sicilian Pizza $17 (medium pie) 3/5 Limoncello cake 3/5 Overall the food was great! The prices seem to be going up a little bit, or maybe it's cause they don't order certain lunch deals anymore. The Sicilian pizza meat had a really weird smell to me so I didn't eat it. Pizzas are more of a thin crust style. Our waiter this time was great! The prior time we had a waiter who kept eating when he brought the food out. When he would say what food items were what the food would come flying out his mouth which was super gross. So this time around we kindly asked for someone else. This is a pretty causal neighborhood spot. Great for groups!

Full of flavor charred octopus, but slightly over cooked.

My friend and I came here and ordered some food, which was just absolutely phenomenal! The service was absolutely wonderful! The restaurant was very clean and very beautiful! The food was arrived very hot and fresh! The presentation was beautiful! I ordered the scallops (not pictured here) and my friend ordered the swordfish that came with mashed potatoes and a side of steamed spinach, which we both thought were phenomenal! We also ordered a side of octopus, which was a little charred, but it was still edible. The food also came with a side of bread with dipping sauce, and that was also very delicious!! We will definitely come back and either be sitting in the restaurant or ordering through a food service again! Thank you so much! Delicious Italian food!!

    Good times!

Great food, wonderful service, delightful staff! The mussels are so good and the kids love the pizza! Family owned and you can tell! So nice to have family recipes!

I've come in here twice now, once for happy hour and once for a lunch date. I love that they have Happy Hour still and they have a crazy hour that starts at 3pm and goes to 4pm then another happy hour menu starts at 4pm. The first group I went with, we ordered one of everything on the happy hour menu. They had gnocchi, cheese bread, bruschetta, etc. To be honest the food was small and very bready for HH and I was not too impressed. But the drink specials were great value and I enjoyed the wine. The atmosphere here is very great, seems local, great vibes, repeat customers - so when I had a choice for a place to go for a date lunch, we came here and I'm very happy we did. We ordered lemon chicken with avacado on top of pasta and gnocchi with a meat sauce. Wow was the food AMAZING it was also filling! It was also great that lunch goes until 3pm. So we ordered the food and once 3pm started for crazy hour we got some wine to go with it! Super huge win :) I will definitely be coming back for the food and adding this to date locations!

The brick pizza oven going strong!

This is a mainstay restaurant in western Fairfax County that is worth a drive from all over the area. This is the Italian Restaurant you wish you had in your neighborhood! Great food, great specials everyday, great service, an excellent wine selection of regional Italian wines and others. Servers are pros and so is the bartender, Rachel.

The restaurant itself is very appealing and charming. As a pizza connoisseur I thought the pizza was delicious, the pizza sauce is absolutely exquisite and the pizza itself, very cheesy. The service was alright. However, the water tastes like Florida water, for those of you who don't know it's not good so I got a Sprite, but somehow it tasted worse. I'm sure the wines are fabulous though but I'm not old enough to drink it. BYOW-bring your own water.

I have lived by this place for YEARS and I had never tried it for some reason but ever since I've been back from Italy I've been craving vongole pasta and went with a friend. There is plenty of parking and it is a very cute place and decorated well. It was crowded on a Thursday night so you know it's good. We ordered the grilled octopus salad which was delicious ! And the vongole pasta was so good. I personally would have liked the pasta a little more al dente but the taste and the clams weee excellent. The price is not crazy either so I will be back!

The restaurant itself is old school Italian with the drippy candles in wine bottles and dated decor. It could definitely use a facelift - and still maintain that classic Italian restaurant vibe. The food was the most disappointing part of the journey. Calamari that was chewy and not at all seasoned - clearly frozen and out of a bag and our meals were no better. I LOVE veal saltimbocca and get it whenever I can. The veal was thick, mozzarella wasn't fresh, and it was drowning in canned mushrooms. Nothing about our meal said fresh. We were leaving the next day for a quick trip so we did not take our leftovers home, but I can honestly say we wouldn't have even if we didn't have a trip planned.

I will start off by saying that I had low expectations given the track record of non-chain Italian restaurants I've tried since living in northern VA of which 85% have been terrible (remember I'm from NJ where Italian food should be the state food). But I said YOLO, crossed my fingers and ordered the marsala via GrubHub. The moral of the story is that I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by Cantina D'Italia overall because the marsala was pretty tasty, spaghetti cooked almost perfectly, garlic bread with cheese perfectly seasoned and cheesy and they sent an added little unexpected bonus of a pretty side salad with a homemade vinaigrette and fresh Italian bread and butter! Oh and the portion was HUGE! Totally got 2-3 meals out of it. Cantina D'Italia has given me hope ... or I should say at least gave me an Italian restaurant I just might frequent and explore all the other menu options :)

From the sauces that were included on the dish to the perfectly cooked and seasoned potatoes... I definitely would recommend this dish to everyone that decides to visit Heirloom. Then the Oysters Rockefeller.... simply put, so much flavor! I then opted to get the Heirloom Burger. All the items that came on the burger added to the taste experience, however, my only wish was that the patty should have been seasoned a tad more. Despite that, my additions of bbq sauce and mayo added to the burger, where the seasoning kind of lacked. Overall, great experience. I will be back!

It was much appreciated. As for the food it was hit and miss. Our husbands had the short rib raviolis and-although it was flavorful, there was not enough meat inside the raviolis nor were there enough raviolis to justify the price tag. Since the sauce was extremely flavorful I forced my husband to share some of the skimpy sauce to dip my pizza crust on it. Luckily the guys had enough of the wonderful fried mozzarella and bread to not be grumpy. One tip that our whole party agreed on was that the sauce was better suited if it was paired with chunks of lobsters instead of of the stuffed short rib raviolis. I was happy with size of my thin crust pizza and it was way more than I could eat. However, I am not sure if I was actually ok with how the ingredients were divided jn the quarter a fourth of the pizza contained olives ,another fourth was the mushrooms, ,another fourth was the prosciutto and for the life of me I could not remember the fourth ingredient. I'm still ponedering whether I am a fan of this. My friend had the Marguerite pizza and she was extremely satisfied with it. As to the place itself, it's nothing fancy, it's just your typical pizza place in a strip mall. It's just ok. One thing I noticed about it is the dim lighting, but to be fair it's a normal complaint for most eating establishments. We all had to break out our IPhone flashlights to read the menu. I wish most eateries would have a dimmer switch by your table so that when you are ordering, there is sufficient lighting as you read the menu and when done can be adjusted to mood lighting. The service felt disorganized--we were first asked for drinks (which is standard), then only appetizers. After finishing those, we had to flag him down just to place our dinner order. The most disappointing part was the ravioli di carne. The portion was not only inadequate but honestly felt insulting--both to me as a customer and to the restaurant itself.

This was a business dinner and when we first entered I was amazed at how big and beautiful it was inside. The bar area was large, oval, and really upscale and nice! They also offer valet here, which is helpful given the area, it's tough to find parking! Our server was great! She offered many good options, offered up very helpful insight, and did a great job keeping an eye on our table. Their wine list is large, with so much to choose from, whether Italian or New World - They have a nice selection of bottles! They even have their own label (not sure who makes it) which I tried and it was decent, but we opted for something else. It was tough to select a salad, an appetizer, and an entrée, as we wanted to be able to eat everything and there was so much to choose from which looked so very appealing on the menu. I started with their arugula salad and it was excellent! Such a simplistic salad like this has to be made with fresh greens and this definitely met that mark! I did ask for a side of balsamic to drizzle a tiny bit in - but it really didn't need it. Dinner consisted of their braised short rib - AMAZING! So very tender and flavorful... YUMMM!!!! A nice balance of flavors, sweet and savory in this dish. Their pasta menu looked so very nice that I wanted a pasta too, so prior to the mains, I split their smoked chicken pasta with a colleague and that dish was crazy - so smokey and flavorful! The pasta was spot-on al dente too! Definitely a rich dish, creamy, flavorful, and very powerful - but tasty! We were all too full for dessert, so a couple of us just chose some Sambuca to sip as we ended the dinner and that was great, served perfectly chilled with the coffee beans. Highly recommend giving them a try, I'll most definitely return!

While we understand the need for policies, a bit more flexibility for special occasions would have gone a long way. We started with the beef carpaccio and octopus appetizer, both of which were perfectly executed and set the tone for the evening. The seafood pasta specials were calling my name too--fresh, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. And the bread basket? Legendary. Soft, airy, with just the right crunch on the outside, served with olive oil, butter, and balsamic--it's basically a meal on its own! What really makes this place stand out is the service. The owner, Sergio, checks in personally at every table, making you feel like family, and the staff are attentive without being overbearing. They clearly care about the dining experience, which makes the evening feel special. All in all, Ristorante Bonaroti is a must-visit for anyone craving traditional Italian cuisine with impeccable service and an old-school, welcoming vibe. He seemed to know a lot of the customers which makes it feel homey. They gave complimentary bread which came with butter, olive oil, balsamic, and other fixings. The bread was super soft on the inside and had a nice crunch from the exterior. My boyfriend and I ordered the calamari, scaloppini mare terra, fettuccini con funghi, and fettuccini al frutti di mare. In simple terms: calamari, a seafood vodka pasta, fettuccini alfredo w mushroom, and veal with lobster bits served with green beans and scalloped potatoes. Surprisingly, I didn't love the calamari. It had a good size but lacked flavor. It also could have been cooked a tad bit more for better color and texture. The fettuccini alfredo was super creamy and had such a strong mushroom taste! The veal was nice but a bit chewy for my liking. The scalloped potatoes were good but nothing special. However the star of the show was the seafood vodka pasta! It had such an amazing vodka flavor with loads of seafood! I have to admit, they put way too many calamari pieces and not enough of the other items mentioned in the dish. Another thing was that I found a strand of hair on my plate. When I notified the server, he said it was just from the green beans but would exchange it for me. Later, he explained that the "hair" was green bean skin.. which was odd to me considering the hair was turning black to white. I didn't appreciate him trying to make an excuse. I decided to look past it even though the server didn't apologize. Good first experience (other than the piece of hair). The seafood vodka pasta is def a must-have. The vibes are great and the owner makes you feel like family.
