There was no one there and it took us at least 10 minutes to be seated for lunch it seemed that the entire staff was just pissed off to be working that day. We came here with some friends who really like this place. I wasn't quite sure that this place would be all that, but boy was I wrong! Our group shared the char-grilled wings and garlic (cheese) bread. We also had the Sriracha Shrimp, Mozzarella Caprese, Steak & Mushroom, and Chicken Gouda pies (yes, we were hungry). Everything was excellent, but the highlights for me were the wings and the Steak & Mushroom pies, with the Sriracha Shrimp pie being a very close second. The bartenders know us. :) Our fav: classic, that spicy meat pizza (can't recall the formal name so sorry!) the steak and blue cheese one is fabulous. One of my FAV is the mushroom truffle pie. Lord. Their greek salad is AMAZING. Get BOTH salad dressings on the side. You can't go wrong. Their wings are a great appetizer. It's a beer place so be prepared to have an abundant choice of brews. To be clear, as the name states, Pies and Pints is a place for pizza and beer! I am not a bee drinker but Pies & Pints seemed to have a nice variety of craft beer. There are some appetizers but the majority of the menu is devoted to pizza. The sizes are 10 and 16 inches. You can pick from a list of specialty pies or go custom. I did the latter. A regular 10 inch pie with roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions. The best part about the pizza was toppings. The rest of the pie was weak. I have had better crust and I needed a microscope to find the cheese. My colleagues enjoyed their custom pies. Service was very personable and friendly, which is why I rounded up to three stars. A very nice lady explained that the online system automatically delays the order and offered to put our order in immediately. I have trouble remembering that the "pies" in the name is referring to pizza sometimes. I keep thinking this is a dessert eatery not a gourmet pizza shop. This has caused us to bypass it in the past when visiting this edge of Easton. We went with a custom pie this time to make it exactly the way we wanted. The space was perfect for a late evening dinner. The pizza came out incredibly hot and, while there was a bit of a wait, the atmosphere was cozy. The booths were a bit hard, so I sat on my coat. The roasted garlic really brought the flavor in the dish. We were eager to go back for a second slice and a third. The leftovers were quickly claimed for a lunch for my wife in the near future. So actually just about a month later, a friend and I went. We split a Greek salad (yay!) and ordered a pizza with half my way (extra sauce, banana pepper, pepperoni, mushroom) and the other half the Chicken Gouda specialty pie. Our server was Jeff and he was super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him! We also both opted for a flight of beers, which I love that they do! 4 delicious beers in tiny little glasses. I wish every place had this as a flight option! I was also super impressed with the beer menu. Too many to choose from! I ended up getting the BrewDog Elvis Juice, Fat Head's Bumbleberry, Weihenstephhaner Hefeweissbier and the Victory Sour Monkey. I think the Sour Monkey was my fave. I love tarty sour beers! Our pizza came out and it was good! Although not as good as I remember it being the previous time I was there. I also didn't love the chicken gouda. Something on it just didn't sit well with my tastebuds. But either way, I still took my leftovers into work the next day! Yum! Also, as an additional call out to this review, I ended up leaving my wallet there that night. I was so frantically looking for it the entire next day. I was so relieved when I called and they told me they had it. I guess Jeff found it after I left. Whew! What a relief. Thanks to the team there for getting it back to me! A great pizza has become the worst. We lived in WV and have been big fans of Pies & Pints. Service and food has always been good & delicious. We went to the one at Easton and were seated immediately. Shortly our order was taken, so we're sitting at the table with no menus on it when the co-manager came up and asked if we had been seated or had just come in and sat down. My husband told him that we had been seated--by him! Then he told us that there was a 40 minute wait. The spinach salad was delicious. Our pizza (the classic) looked pretty good when it was delivered to our table- without a serving spatula. Then we noticed how greasy it looked, and the greasy flavor was horrible. We not only didn't finish our meal, but we left the leftovers. So disappointed. I certainly hope they can get their act together again; but I won't know cause we won't be back. read more

I'd be happy to stop in here sometime just for a beer or two. Why? Well, their beer list is one of the more extensive ones I've seen in Columbus. It's not on World of Beer's level but still... I also liked how well the server knew the selections and helped me narrow it down to the best beer for me and then gave me a sample to make sure it was a good choice for me. Their beer is competitively price. I like that. I started off with their "Simple Salad" Fresh and very tasty with the vinaigrette dressing I opted for. I'd definitely recommend it. Now my take on their pizza. I ordered one of their 10" signature gourmet pizzas called the Spinach Garlic. It's a hand tossed pizza topped with those items plus, Roma tomatoes, red onion and Gorgonzola cheese. It's not my typical pizza that I go for but it's still pretty good. It's was fun to try out something a little out of the ordinary this time and I wouldn't hesitate to get it again. Their prices are about what I would expect from this type of place - not cheap but not outrageous either. By the way, they do offer gluten free crust for those who are watching that. There's nothing really wrong with this place but there are several small things that keep me from giving them more than 4 stars. 1: They only offer a 10" or 16" pizza...that's it. 2. They cut their pizzas into wedges which is bad enough but they cut a 10" pizza into 4 slices which makes them a little too big. I ended up cutting them in half again which worked out much better. Six slices would have been ideal. 3. It would have been better to have browned it in the oven a couple more minutes. 4. They didn't give me a box for my left over pizza. Nope, they just wrapped it in foil and put it in a bag. It was kinda soggy when I went to finish it up later that evening. All in all this place is a 3.75 to 4 stars with a heavy lean on the awesome beer list. read more

Another contender for local casual week day dinner! We split the gorgonzola and grape pizza along with a few pints of craft beers. The very nice waitress also brought several tastings so we could select the perfect beer. Much appreciated as they have a huge menu to select from - there are gluten free options too! We got the small size pizza and it was a good amount for two, but if you are hungry, plan on adding a salad or appetizer to your meal. They have tons of pizza options and you can also create your own, so go a bit out of your comfort zone and get some modern, hip pizza to go with your unusual pint. We had a table near the front and were seated right away, although there was a bit of a wait as the evening went on. It was a little loud, but we could still have a conversation so that was ok. It did take nearly an hour for us to get one pizza, so give yourself time to eat here and plan on having a long discussion about life with your companion while you wait. The take away here? Sweetie and I were out for a bit, and our first choice of pizza place was closed (Sunday evening, 8pm) so we ended up here. We had cake at a birthday party; now for pie... I assumed that would just be potato skins with pizza toppings, but it's more of a pizza topped with potato skin stuff: their standard crust, with mashed garlic potatoes instead of sauce, topped with cheese, bacon, and scallions (we skipped the sour cream.) It was very good- crispy, potatoey, cheesy, and with excellent bacon. Yum. Sweetie said her 10" pepperoni pie was good, not great. She liked everything except the pepperoni; not enough seasoning, I think. My sriracha shrimp was pretty darn good. Their crust is relatively thin, sauce is good, cheese is good. The toppings were lots of good shrimp, a few chunks of pineapple, onions and scallions, and lashings of sriracha aioli. Not a traditional pizza, but darn good. I had a beer since they have a great list and Sweetie is only my DD for another day or so till Baby K. gets here. Their selection is large, with lots on tap, and the signboard shows origin and other details about the beers- pretty cool. We realized our first date, years ago, was pizza (Donato's.) This is a really cool spot to check out. There are TVs all around, good music player, great friendly service, and the food is all really good! We did a large pizza split which was really tasty! Well we got pizza and he got alot of super small test sizes that may have added up to 2 beers. it ended up being 3 frowning faces to 5 smiles. I guess they have some good beer. My sister and I were looking for a place to eat, and considering Hot Chicken Takeover was about to close and Melt was busy af, we decided on Pies and Pints Pies and Pints is a straightforward pizza and beer joint. They have a few other options on the menu that will compliment pizza, but the 'za is the main event. There are two options, 10 & 16 inches. If you get the 16 inch pizza, you can do half and half toppings. We started with the rosemary bread. It's topped with goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. In theory, all of these items should blend merrily, but I found them clumsily lumped together. It didn't taste like a unified unit and didn't compliment each other like I thought it would. We then ordered a half/half 16 inch pizza. My side had pesto, shrimp & mushrooms, and hers had bacon & tomatoes. They have a wide selection of toppings, but we were surprised to find that green peppers weren't an option. I don't like peppers so it didn't matter to me, but my sister was very disappointed. The pizza took fooorever to come out. It was nearly an hour before it came out. The pizza tasted good; it had a lot of flavor to it, but I don't think I'd wait an hour for it again. Plus, they don't have ranch. I understand ranch with pizza is a touchy subject, but who doesn't at least offer ranch at a pizza joint!? Instead they have a Gorgonzola dressing, which is delicious, but NOT my dear friend ranch. Would I come to this location again? Probably not.
