They have a wide variety of options for your pizza, allowing you to order some "standards" or to customize your own pizza. We usually opt for a half-and-half pizza, with my wife picking her favorite for one side while I do the other side. Then we usually end up eating from both sides. They also have some great salads to complement your pizza. Our favorite is their anti-pasta salad. A regular is big enough for us to split and share. A real highlight is their selection of beers. My friend and I visited Columbus for the first time. We wanted to know what Columbus is known for food wise. Pizza came up and we decided that's the perfect meal fresh off of the plane. Searching for the best pizza in Columbus and I discovered this isn't it! I ordered a Margherita pizza and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza via DoorDash. This order took over 45 minutes to get to me. Way too long! Neither of these pizzas were worth the expensive price tag. They are super skimpy on the toppings. In other words, they were almost not even there. I am tired of these places that feel they can just smooth some sauce on some crust and throw a handful of ingredients on it and call it pizza. The sauce honestly tasted like some Ragu out of a jar. I called Pies and Pints earlier in the week to see if they accepted reservations and they advised that they do not accept reservations - they are a first come, first serve establishment. We arrived on a Friday around 5:30 PM. We were advised that there was a 30 minute wait. No biggie. They take down my number so that they could send me a text once our table was ready. Once they took my number, we headed over to the bar to grab a drink. This is a no no. Due to COVID, you are not allowed to grab any drinks unless you are already seated at a table. Boo. Once we were seated (30 minutes later), we ordered a couple of drinks and the pork and pepper nachos. The pork and pepper nachos were the reason why I picked Pies and Pints for date night. I saw a pic that someone had posted on IG and they looked delicious. Well...the nachos were pretty disappointing. While the pulled pork tasted great, half of the tortilla chips were naked and bare. The top half of the nachos were covered in melted shredded cheese which left the bottom half covered in nothing. I think that if they used melted gooey cheese, the nachos would have been much better as we would have been able to spread the toppings around. They could also add a bit more of the pulled pork to the nachos. The pulled pork was smokey and had great flavor, but there was very little pork added to the nachos. I left the description of the pork and pepper nachos below. Pork + Pepper Nachos PORK & PEPPER NACHOS Seasoned black beans, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, salsa, scallions & chipotle crema Now, for my drink. I ordered a glass of Prosecco. The pour was weak! The bartender filled up only a quarter of my wine glass! For our main course, we ordered the special which was the Baja bean pie. We also ordered a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was so good! It was super seasoned and tasted great to me. It was a little too seasoned for my husband. We ended up having to take 75% of our pie home. Let me tell you - this pie is not great for leftovers! We ended up having to pitch it after reheating one slice. Another BIG boo.I left the description of the Baja bean pie below. SPECIAL - Baja bean pie - REFRIED BEANS, CHEDDAR CHEESE, CHORIZO, RED ONIONS, JALAPENOS, AND BLACK OLIVES. FINISHED WITH SOUR CREAM, SCALLIONS, AND TAJIN. While the pie was not good reheated, it was freshly made and had many great flavors. I should also note that we had two pies. The first pie fell off of our table as we were just sitting there eating our first slice. The staff said that this apparently happens all the time! It was pretty comical, but scared the crap out of me at the same time! First time this location and we sat at the bar. It was late afternoon on Saturday and there were a lot of staff on for few customers. I figured they would be busy soon, and they were. I got a bottle of Rose for $21 (by the glass is $7). The bottle was given to me in a chiller, which was perfect. They do have a large selection of drafts and give samples upon request. My boyf chose Rogue Honey Kosch. I ordered the House Salad with added marinated shrimp, and house vinaigrette. They seem to be gorgonzola crazy on their menu (not for me). The salad was good, especially with the shrimp, but there were too many pieces of iceberg core and I hate that. I set them aside and wished for more greens. I got a White Pie with added roma tomatoes and pesto. The pesto is a premium topping. In reality, it is only drizzled atop the pizza. The pizza was fantastic, and the leftovers over the next few days were still flavorful. This will probably be in our rotation in the future, but I will stick with the pizza. read more

The decor has a sort of industrial feel with all the metal. The draft list is exemplary and they have some sort of program that allows you to see how much is in each keg. It's not really sure what the benefit is to that. Maybe beer tastes different depending on the part of the keg it comes from? Decent bottle selection too! The nachos and salad that we ordered were on point and very tasty. The presentation wasn't bad either. It was quiet on a Sunday afternoon in late October. So glad I found this place on Yelp! My family and I were in the area and figured this place got really busy on a Friday night for dinner, so we made sure to come early (around 5) and got a table right away. The only problem was that our waitress wasn't in yet, so we did have to wait a little while to place our drink and appetizer order. We did get the wings, which totally have a different flavor, but my dad and my husband loved them. We also ordered the cheese bread, which the kids loved, a regular pizza, and then 2 GF pizzas.
