Great little local restaurant. Lots of free parking out front. Friendly waitress with great suggestions. Fresh handmade burgers with chips or fries as an upgrade for $2. Hubby has a delicious 3 pc. There's no way a 10 PM meal in White Pigeon, Michigan at the White Pigeon Inn is going to get less than 4 stars. say what you will about the iPhone, but it enabled my cross country party of 4 to find THE WHITE PIGEON INN...about the only thing open til 10 around Mile Marker 44 of the Indiana Toll Road. So we walk in, tired and dirty, but somehow still feeling like a cosmopolitan school of fish out of water...and order some late night grub. Americana. It was our first experience tonight at Pigeon Inn. We had heard they roasted their prime rib, not the usual heat an eat you get in St Joseph County Michigan! 2 Queen Cuuts were ordered and 2 King Cuts. The pieces of prime rib were absolutely HUGE!! They did a very nice job seasoning it and it all came out cooked very close to perfection! The prices were very affordable 15.99 for the queen cut 19.99 for the King cut. It comes with your choice of potato and soup or salad bar. Thankfully they have to go boxes. The waitress was so nice. She greeted us at the door had us sit where ever we wanted and was right there to take our drink orders, and was back in 10 minutes to take the dinner order. Caitlyn is very friendly, very knowledgeable of the food and drinks (yes it has a full bar) and came back to the tabbed numerous times to make sure we were doing good and to maKe sure the food was to our liking. GO! It's been years since I've been to The Pigeon Inn. I saw on Facebook they were under new ownership and getting rave reviews. It did NOT disappoint! This is White Pigeon's new little gem! It's been remodeled and is no longer dark and dreary. I went on Taco Tuesday night, arrived around 6:00 pm and they were not very busy at all. Within the next hour the place started to fill up, which was unexpected for such a small town, and on a really snowy wintery evening. The Bacon bread bowl is a MUST! They toast the bread pieces they've hollowed out to make room for the cheesy deliciousness that is inside. Toasting the bread is the icing on the cake of an already amazing appetizer. I took the advice of our waitress and ordered a margarita, which I NEVER do unless I'm at an authentic Mexican restaurant. It was delicious! Not much tequila, but that's ok because I was driving. I did not partake in the $1 tacos, but I enjoyed a burger bowl without the bun instead. I ordered it with grilled onions, a fried egg, and garlic parmesan sauce. YUM!!! It was cooked to perfection and it's obvious they use high quality meat. Next time, I am going for a beer and making the bacon bread bowl my meal. Our server Ashley was awesome! Very friendly, outgoing, attentive, had great suggestions and really knew the menu. She made us feel special. My friend drank bloody Mary's and she continually brought her blue cheese stuffed olives on the side without being asked. I will definitely be going back! read more

Have gone to the Pigeon Inn before new owners took over, the Pigeon Inn burger was very good. We went in after the new owners took over, the place was the same but the food was not, we had a burger with a side od onion rings, the burger was cooked to death even though we asked for med rare and the onion rings were so very greasy it was like the put them in cold grease. I also noticed it you read reviews they are mostly old reviews. I would not recommend them. read more

Went with a friend I'm traveling with who grew up in White Pigeon. Sat for 5 min. While our cold beer warmed on the counter. Waitress never acknowledged us after gave us menus we could barley reed. Don't wast your time. read more

The only thing new about this place is the owners. Decided to try again since it has new owners and had good reviews, not sure where those reviews came from but nothing has changed. Took a look at their "salad bar" please....watered down white iceberg lettuce and some cucumber, tomatoes and couple other things that looked like they had been sitting too long for 6.99. My husband tried their burger bowl which was described as being stuffed with your choice of different items...Not...it was a plain burger with the "fillings" on top of the burger for 8.99 and an upcharge if you wanted fries....frozen of course. If you purchase a restaurant how about spending a little bit cleaning up the place (starting with washing the filthy windows) and a coat of fresh paint goes a long way. No excuse for serving garbage food just because it's small town. While your at it how about repairing the front door so customers don't have to listen to it slamming every time someone enters. Won't be returning to this or most other restaurants in area until they can improve upon these things. How sad you have to drive to Kalamazoo to get decent food instead of supporting local business. read more

Thursday night Special is a Burger Basket with fries. 4 of us can have one of the best burger baskets we have ever had for less than $20.00 and quite oftern we get Bacon on them and are still below $20.00. read more
