Honesty Hour! This is THE CLEANEST Wayfield I have ever been to in all my years!…read more This store is nestled at the end of the shopping plaza but is really the only defining reason to go to the plaza. Upon walking in I was surprised at how clean the store is and how open the floor plan is. Great Job, Management. Wayfield will always be the Meat Gem of grocery stores as their 5 for $24.99 is unmatched when it comes to Grocery Retailers. As such, it was time for some meats, I was in the area, thus I landed here. Along with the clean store and open floor plan (as most Wayfields are usually super crowded) the selection was awesome. Everything was in stock. The meats presented pretty cuts, and best of all, there wasn't any kind of odors coming from the meat department. Along with getting my 5 for $24.99, I stocked up on a few seasonings. I was surprised at the pricing for the bottles of seasonings in relation to how big they are. I had to grab a few. Lastly, my checkout process was quick and simple. There were multiple lines open. The cashier was very friendly. As was the security guard by the front door. Overall, I had a pleasurable shopping experience at this Wayfield! I will make this my go-to location when I'm near the area. #HappyShopping

Although it's quite a distance from my home, I wouldn't mind returning. The store was very clean and organized. The cleanliness stood out because none of the Wayfield locations that I've previously visited can compare. The prices were very reasonable. I purchased snow crab legs for $6.99 a pound and a 2 pound bag of colossal Argentinean red shrimp for $14.99. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The produce was a little iffy and they were out of the all flat wings that Wayfield typically carries.

The only thing that stood out to me was that the two managers (two white gentlemen) near the entrance didn't acknowledge or greet customers as I walked in, which is unusual for Publix. However, the rest of my experience more than made up for it. I want to give a special shout-out to Precious in the deli. She was handling a very busy rush by herself, helping multiple customers, answering questions, and keeping everything moving with a smile. When it was my turn, she took the time to help me decide between different sides, gave her honest recommendations, and never made me feel rushed. Her positive attitude and outstanding customer service really stood out. The cashier who checked me out and the gentleman who bagged my groceries were also friendly and professional. Overall, this was a great shopping experience, thanks to employees like Precious. I'll definitely be back.

You used to be able to count on Publix being the only store where prices were correct but I guess times have changed. The one saving grace is that if you do catch an incorrect price, they are usually willing to fix it. So I'd say overall the service is ok. The atmosphere is definitely better than Kroger and Walmart in our area but generally just acceptable. The quality of the products is ok but that quality is outweighed by the high prices and by incorrect prices at checkout. I wish I could say I loved this store but unfortunately I only come here because it's the closest bearable option in my neighborhood. If you come here, you'll most likely find what you need and the quality will be pretty ok, but I really wish they would check their prices more carefully and stop raising them so sky high.

I decided to pay this store a visit because I haven't been in it since it was renovated and changed names. The looks are pleasing. Interesting color scheme. Black and Red. The store has everything you need for the most part. The only problem is the expense. Everything in here is a dollar or two more than other stores. I feel like this store is strictly for the neighborhood people and the convenience. Years ago you could find a lot of cheap items in this store when it was Way field but I get it. They now have specialty items and a better selection of some foods. They have a salad bar, hot food bar and a sandwich making station. I purchased and 8 piece smoke chicken and some bread pudding. The chicken was seasoned, tender and juicy. I paired it with a nice salad. The bread pudding was like home. Not overly sweet and the perfect consistency. I wished I had bought another one. One other thing. Everybody in there speaks to you. They have a full staff and they are very friendly. That's what matters most these days. I will be sure to visit again.

I went to the seafood section to check out the prices there and those prices were good. A sale price of $8.99 per pound for salmon and $9.99 for tuna so those were well priced. I end up with just salmon filets and a Gatorade after going through the store. The people working there were nice and attentive. The store was clean. Plenty of parking.

The store was virtually empty. There were a few people walking around in there but not many. My first impression is that it smelled like extremely old frying grease. I confirmed that they also sell Dickies barbecue in the back of the store. I moved along up and down the aisles. The aisle thatched my attention the most was the seasonings. They had some items that you cannot find anywhere else. I was happy to find them. I also found some Sunset Farms sausage that I really like to cook. It seems like the store is more of a corner store with a lot more items. Hopefully they will continue to grow. Please do something about the grease smell in there.

Very clean inside, looks like they're still receiving/stocking inventory. Looks like there will be a good assortment of produce and they will also have a selection of health/beauty up front by the registers. Cashier was very pleasant and efficient, she greeted me when I walked in and chatted while she rang me up. They accept all forms of payment including Apple Pay and I was told they will also be accepting EBT shortly. The rating of 3 is only because they're not fully stocked and still a work in process. I'm sure it will be 5 star by opening. Glad to see another minority owned business in the neighborhood and hope they are successful. I'll be back to support.

This was very confusing, considering I live just five minutes away and shop at this Kroger multiple times a week--I've always been able to shop up until 11 PM. Being turned away like that, especially in a situation where I needed something essential, felt frustrating and unprofessional. If store hours have changed, they need to be clearly updated and communicated to customers. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider shopping here. I've never had this issue at Publix, where customers are allowed to shop right up until closing time. Found a red vested mgr on a register, to tell about it, an assistant, I assume, took my comment, dismissed it by nonchalantly replying and pointing to the right behind me, "there's one right there." I didn't waste any more energy responding, but walked away. I went in for some fragrance candles, had chosen 2, but as i walked the store was so drab, employees looked drab and tired and frustrated, the store looked dark and drab, felt drab. I put the merchandise back in its proper place and left with nothing but a sense of relief upon exiting. It's a sad store, unappealing. Maybe take a look at longevity team mbrs. They appear to have become jaded, lack lustre. Not a good experience today, sadly.
