Interior The most recent owner has done some stuff to make it look more upscale, like faux interior wood flooring. Price / Value / Food I found some very good deals in the meat department. Unlike any of it's predecessors, they have Boar's Head deli meats. They have a hot bar with stuff like fried chicken, fried pork chops, mac & cheese. Apparently the offerings change daily but there's a schedule (ie fried fish on Fridays). Customer Service As usual, the customer service was top notch. The deli attendant made a mistake and sliced nearly 2.5 lbs of turkey instead of a quarter pound (0.25) and one night when I ventured in, someone from the deli had dished up portions of food and priced them without labeling the contents so the staff had no way of knowing if the containers contained sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese or what - but we all gotta give people grace in this day of struggle staffing. Overall I hope these guys stick around. They also own The Market (restaurant and seafood market).

Some of the prices are a bit high compared to competitors but shop local!!! The prices are fine when you factor in the convenience of location. The parking lot was completely done along with the interior. It's clean, modern and well organized. When it was BiLo it felt horribly crowded. They did not have the brand I needed but found something comparable, I was surprised at how many folks were still coming into the store so late just before closing. The small parking lot was full! The folks were still very friendly -- even after a long day shift. And fast on the check out.

They have tons to offer from sauces to baked goodies and fresh peaches of course. The Peach lemonade was amazing! Picked up a few gifts. The Peach Cobbler mix and peach butter which sounds super delicious! On the property they have a few interactive activities such as mining. You can purchase your rough in store. They have adorable goats who just love attention. Also, a few photo ops under the tent display. Super cute place, it's a must stop!

They also do online ordering. Staff is super friendly and you can try samples of anything you want before you buy. This is a great place to go shopping for gifts or yourself. They became the leading supermarket by putting a strong emphasis on customer service. They bring the adage "the customer is always right" to new levels. Add to this fantastic BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and that alone makes for a winning combination. Add to this the iconic subs that they make in their deli (affectionately known as Pub Subs) and they become virtually unbeatable. These subs are pretty amazing. I usually go with their Italian sub or their roast beef. Both are excellent and I guess anything you would order at their deli counter would be a winner. I must say that I woukd definitely recommend this particular location or any Publix, for that matter. I choose to give it five stars for their steps in making sure a visit to a Publix is always a wonderful experience.

By the time I arrived in Pennsylvania on August 20 in the late afternoon, half the basket had large brown, mushy spots on them and the peaches were not even ripe. I cut away the "good" parts to eat, but they had no flavor, as the peaches weren't ripe yet. The other half of the basket of peaches now have large mushy brown spots and still not ripe or flavorful. The entire basket of peaches had bruising that was not visible when I purchased them. I paid almost $20 for that small basket and they were all inedible. The main shop with assorted preserved peach food products was fairly nice and I was able to taste test several products. I got a cute mug and some raw pecans there. That part of the business was worth a quick stop. But, the peaches that were available in late August were terrible.

I chose the Harris Teeter on Saint Simons because it was a familiar brand. I ended up getting a foot-long sub and had half for dinner that night and then saved the other half for another evening. I randomly was driving around the island and went to the Jekyll Island club, which was absolutely gorgeous. I went back the next day with my leftover sub from the hotel refrigerator and had a picnic under the beautiful several hundred years old white oak trees. It was such a special moment that I had to take pictures. It was an ideal picnic.

If you want darker yolks, (which generally indicate nutritional value) try following Joel Salatin's farming procedures. Blood red yolks are not "natural" as this product claims. Pardon my language when I say, get your shit together ... because your brand is neither "Truth" nor "Simple" . Customers aren't stupid. Ask a farmer ... like me!
