We got a 20lb tray of carne asada and a 20lb tray of the pollo asada and we were not only very disappointed but really embarassed. We had over 50 family / friends / coworkers who I had bragged to about how good their tacos were and the meat was subpar at best. When I think of pollo and carne asada I imagine well spiced, cut up grilled steak and chicken. I got 2 X 20 lbs trays of tasteless tan and brown pellets. No sign of browning, grill marks or taste. Some might argue it wasn't really meat. Just ruined the stuff... Guacamole was good, the flour tortillas and chips were pretty good, but when the main protein(s) suck, the event can't really recover. Service was relatively nice. I am so puked out because I trusted them. Coughing up over $500 for their garbage to feed people I love, I can't help but take it a little personal. Never going back.

The average price in Michigan for organic Cauliflower is under $5. Hollywood is going broke right now and trying to keep a float by over charging their customers. I used to go there because of convenience and the prices weren't that bad. Now I can't even run there if I forget cheese because it's so overpriced. It's very upsetting that this company is taking advantage of their customers.

During my most recent visit, the situation escalated into a shouting match after I repeatedly asked her to leave me alone. She continued provoking the situation instead of de-escalating it, and at one point was filming me while arguing. I felt intimidated and just wanted to finish my business and leave. What was especially concerning was that management was present and witnessed the situation but did not properly intervene or resolve it. Seeing this handled so casually made me feel that customer safety and professionalism are not taken seriously. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. I hope the owners or management address how conflicts with customers are handled so that other people do not have a similar experience.

So when I found this spot I couldn't have driven here any faster! I walked in and immediately starting putting my 2 nephews and daughter to work each holding a basket! I found yuca, empanada shells, chocolate corté, pilloncillo, sofrito, morcilla, calderos, campolor, tocino, and chiles! You name it, I found it and bought it! I was beyond happy to drop serious coin at this mom and pop place! What I didn't like or expect was to get home and see that I had EXPIRED sofrito and when I went to cut my tocino and use it, the smell was freezer burned! So, although they had many many products from my mother land I can't say I'm running back here. The store is small enough to keep an eye on expired stuff! Rotate!
