Decor in the seating space!
Amy B.

Really loved this spot! Was totally surprised but what I found, I even blogged about it! The barista was kind and attentive and pointed me to the unique seating experience! The coffee was good, too! And I felt that the seating area was truly inspirational! Overall, I would recommend checking out this coffee spot!

London Fog with sweet cream

Loved the decor. Ordered a London Fog with sweet cream. Came out quickly and was a great temperature. The server was extremely polite as he helped us.

What an AWESOME Poe themed cafe!! Seemingly small and cozy, then, BAM a whole backend of the building with a fireplace and ample space!! The staff members were warm, welcoming and happy! They gave a tour of the beautiful building and all the plans they have for renovations and updates (good lord what a beautiful place it is!!) I am in love with Tennessee but I tell you what, I'd come back solely for this place and these folks

Pike House table at the Johnson City Farmers Market. Be sure to treat yourself to their iced caramel latte, it's delicious!

Visited Pike House Coffee Roasters at the Johnson City Farmers Market on Saturday. Enjoyed an iced caramel latte and treated myself to a bag of their Edgar Allen Poe coffee. I love the EA Poe themed deliciousness & coffee shop. They were nice enough to offer to grind the beans at their coffeeshop on my way home. I enjoyed the heavenly aroma as I drove back to Greeneville from Johnson City. Their cafe is warm and welcoming with a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely be back when I'm visiting JC in the future, thank you!

Coffee beans!

Very friendly staff and cute shop. Good vibe. I got the avocado toast and a vanilla cappuccino, both very yummy. Also some beans for at home! I don't live locally but stumbled on this coffee shop and I'll definitely have to come back next time I am around.

That's the bottom of the cup after dumping the drink. It's black and brown.

If I could not even mark one star, I would. My husband and I ordered two matcha lattes. His was so hot that he burned his tongue and lip. After 10 minutes I tried it and burned my lips and tongue as well. I tried his drink to see if it was better than mine. They both were so bad I poured them out. I've had drinks I didn't like, but never a drink so bad I dumped it. I don't know what was made for us, but it was not a matcha latte. It tasted like a bit of coconut and a weird syrup flavoring. I'm not even sure what exactly. I've never tasted something so horrendous! Don't waste your money. I paid over $10 for the two drinks.

Black tea with brown sugar and lavender milk tea with tapioca and lychee popping

I'm here at least once a week if not more lol so that should tell you that this is the prime boba spot in the Tri cities area for sure. They usually have themed drinks throughout the year. Currently it's Narnia so the ambience inside the place is very cozy and beautiful. My fav go-to drink a black tea with brown sugar and lavender milk tea with tapioca. If you're not sure what to get, I'd recommend this as a starter as it's a classic and you can try out different things since they have so many options. And it's dairy free which is always a plus!! Also something else I love, you get what you pay for since the drink isn't mostly ice which is such a common practice when ordering iced drinks. They now have a study area spot in the back too so it's a good place with chairs or sofa to get some work done! The owners are sometimes hanging out at the place and they always check up on you and are very friendly! You can also sign up for rewards which is nice if you're a regular at the place. 10/10

A subtle hidden gem. The atmosphere and coffee were great. Plenty of space to relax, study or just take a breather. Their large menu has options for everyone. Soy, oat and almond milk options are available for milk substitutes.

Good coffee. Green tea latte was good. Prices are better than Starbucks. Gingerbread coffee recommended too.

Awesome coffee, some of the best cold brew I've had. Really cool theme too. Wish we lived in the area so we could go regularly

I was sent to this place to meet someone. I had never been here before. All I had was a reasonably…read morepriced macchiato. The environment was welcoming and warm. I'd like to return to try the food. Nice place

Reasonably good. Certainly above average for a place in a higher end strip mall. The space was…read morenicely done and spacious. It honestly had the look of a Panera. Navigating the overall experience was a little confusing. There's a clearly visible coffee menu above the counter, but the food menu is somewhat hidden. Fortunately, a staff member noticed my confusion and handed me a menu. There are also portions of the menu that are only available after 11am, and that's not clear on either the menu or the web site. Fine. In terms of food, I ordered a greek crepe with a half greek salad on the side. The salad was good, but not exceptional. Fresh. Crisp. Pre-sliced tomatoes for easy navigation. Probably a little too much feta. The crepe was interesting. It was almost a crepe burrito with greek filling. It was honestly on the heavy side. More crepe than filling, with an extra dusting of cheese on top. In terms of coffee, I would say middling. It wasn't bad coffee. It also wasn't good coffee. Overly bitter and one dimensional. On the other hand, they served the coffee in an oversized ceramic mug, which added some character and quality. Overall, this was a reasonable place to stop for a quick breakfast on a road trip. It wasn't exceptional, and there were some surprises along the way, but the overall experience was fine. It works as a quick pit stop.
