Today I decided to talk to the front desk people and ask some…read morequestions. You know how it is when you're starting back at the gym at age 48 or maybe you don't. Ha ha. It's a little intimidating with the young crowd. I'm not totally out of shape but I definitely have a bit of a road to travel back to being fit. I was dragging to get myself to the gym today. So, I went to the drink cooler to look for a pre-workout and ChatGPT recommended something called GHOST. I met with Javier who went out of his way to ask what was my reason for trying this drink and I let him know. He made a better suggestion with an orange flavored drink called WAR. I definitely felt like I had a better lifting session than I had in a while and according to my watch, I burned about 700 active calories doing legs, shoulders, and cardio. This inspired me to bug Javier again at the front desk, who helped me find the last powder form of WAR. I purchased it at 20% discount. I like good stuff than a responsive and I thank you for having him on your team. Thank you. Side note, the trainer, Brandon, who looks like Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, was helpful on the floor as well. However the fitness manager Christian is eveything wrong with the fitness industry, pushing products and training that you dont need because he needs to hit his daily quota of money for the day. He was even reported to HR by staff members but management couldn't punish him due to him making the company good money from swindling people who are new to the gym. If you are genuinly interested in training go through the individual trainers by asking the front desk. Other than that, Great staff, Great gym, Great community, been going here for 5+ years and im not leaving anytime soon.

When I originally signed up, there was no rule against having a small gym bag with basic training gear (straps, bands, sleeves, roller, etc.). Now staff are telling us no bags on the floor at all--everything must stay in a locker or car. For anyone who trains seriously, this slows down workouts, makes it harder to use safety/recovery tools, and can even increase the risk of injury when our equipment isn't accessible. What bothers me most is how this was done. There's no clear, easy-to-find bag policy on the LA Fitness website when you sign up. Instead, this rule is being pushed later through local signs and staff, which feels like a unilateral change to what members originally agreed to--and potentially a breach of contract, since the conditions of use are being changed after the fact while dues stay the same. If the concern is theft or safety, there are better options (more security, cameras, size/placement limits) than banning all gym bags for everyone. As a long-time member, this feels like a downgrade in both service and transparency, and LA Fitness should either rethink this policy or be upfront and fair with members who no longer feel they're getting what they signed up for.

When I went to see my old coach back in my hometown, he offered me a free month of workouts for what happened. He rectified a situation that had absolutely nothing to do with him. The trainers are very nice...cool seeing them work with clients of all ages.. also like that this is a private and almost intimate gym with the size..feel very welcomed..very clean, machine's are A1 and I have a door code for whenever I want to workout during business hours...so glad I passed up on the major chain/corporate style gyms!

It's like my mind is saying no...but my stomach is saying yes.... I digress. Planet Fitness did make me strong mentally (take that Little Caesar's Pizza) and physically. The facility is pretty impressive! lot of support and comfort while working out and staff is outstanding! always greeting me and waving goodbye. Always adds a personal touch to the business and makes a customer feel valued and appreciated. Thank You Planet Fitness. 100 lbs. lighter since January and PF helped me get there. (disclaimer: this was possible with exercise AND a very strict diet so keep the discipline in both working out and eating habits...lay off the chips and soda! lol) Keep the momentum going Planet Fitness!! . I am so confident in what I need to do to work out my arms, glutes, and more. I learned correct form so I target specific muscles. I have lost almost 20 pounds in the challenge I did with Coach KT, Coach Kem, and Coach Grace. I got flavorful meal plans and recipes that made it easy to get ready for my meal preps. I got lessons on our meal plan to help us understand how to loose fat to muscle. Not only did i get all this, but the Family i have now at this Gym makes me want to go back and see them.
