Absolutely love this place. The machines are always clean and instructors are very helpful and clear with instruction. Love the different kinds of classes for different vibes and goals. My fav is the Pilates and barre!

This was my first experience doing Pilates and I did be a line class with Julia and it was amazing. I've always hated working out, especially doing cardio in this changed the game for me. Shout out to India for being so welcoming at the front desk!

Still a member and have taken 200+ classes! I usually go to the ones in Encinitas and Del Mar. If you're a beginner, I highly suggest you don't go to advanced classes because it can get really hard. Wes and Natasha are great if you're fairly new: clear instructions and great attention to your performance. If you want a really good challenge, take the Tone or Empower+ class from Mary; these classes are not for the weak and will make you sweat hard.

I have been going to Pilates Republic for 2 years now and it's my absolute favorite workout. The instructors are amazing and the vibes are unmatched. I love Sage and Julia's classes so much! You guys should definitely try it out!

They are convenient, locations and times are great. Carlsbad, Encinitas and Del Mar. Many class times to pick from. The class size at Del Mar and Encinitas is a little bigger which I don't think I'm a fan of. I didn't get any specific instruction which made it less personal. That being said at the smaller studio I don't feel that any more specific guidance was given, might just be the style of teaching these studios. Music was good, the instructors had a fun playlists. All the instructors and front desk staff were friendly. The studios are clean, lockers or cubbies for you stuff, some have changing areas, no showers. read more

My overall class was truly enjoyable! I had the instructor named Kianney she was truly a delight as she challenged her students to their fullest ability. It was my first time ever taking a class and she made me feel so comfortable and so cherished. She had so many returning students which just proves that she is the best teacher of the studio! Even though she was filling in for another instructor, I know that her classes that she creates have to be above and beyond amazing. I love Pilates Republic. I just started this year in 2025 and they are so great in giving instructions to follow and execute each exercises. Also, they make sure you work at your own pace and make adjustments with you, helping each individual stay safe, within one's capacity, while also encouraging them to reach the next level of difficulty. I'm appalled. I went to the Renew class with Alaina. I was on the end near the front desk. After class I could hear the instructor speaking to the other employee while I was cleaning my reformer. She was complaining about someone being "the worst", "not getting it", and speaking poorly about a client. Overhearing this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and not want to return. I find this behavior to be extremely unprofessional from an instructor, whose whole job is to teach people how to do an activity. I don't believe this to be an inclusive environment for beginners to feel welcome and supported in learning a new skill. It's unfortunate because I now feel hesitant to return and I actually really enjoyed the first class I took at this location. read more

I have been a member at PR for about a year and a half and I love it! All of the instructors are really nice and helpful. They make corrections when needed and every movement feels very intentional. I love how there are a lot of different class options depending on your vibe and how hard you wanna push it! Pilates Republic has genuinely become one of my favorite places. From the second you walk in, the energy is so welcoming and motivating without ever feeling intimidating. The studio is beautiful, clean, and such a positive environment to work out in. The instructors are AMAZING -- they push you in the best way while still making every class feel encouraging and fun. I always leave feeling stronger, more confident, and honestly in a better mood than when I walked in. Pilates Republic is a fantastic new Pilates studio right on the 101. Courtney's classes are creative, fun, and challenging. The key to Pilates classes is finding an instructor who knows anatomy and knows the correct way to perform each exercise without getting injured.
