Oh yeah! Absolutely love, love, love the Pilgrim Coffeehouse! In a desert of coffee shops along North Aurora, Pilgrim is a welcomed oasis to satisfy your coffee fix. For now, they are located in the Peking lot of the shopping center, serving outside from a vintage pickup truck. It's super cool and very welcoming. I've been here a handful of times and have loved everything I've ordered - from their great tasting drip coffee to the lusciously rich mochas! It's all good. They also have a selection of delicious pastry-based treats, both sweet and savory options to choose from. The garage where I take our car in for repairs is just down the block, so I always make a point to hit the Coffeehouse when I'm there. It's a great place to frequent and run by friendly, kind staff. I love pilgrim and have been following their business since they were a humble coffee stand operated out of a truck. Their espresso quality has always been superior and I appreciate the high end espresso machines they use which I've only seen in at one other coffee shop so far (not in Washington). While the drinks do weigh on the expensive side, they're absolutely delicious. There were a few instances where the staff took long or messed up my order but I won't hound them in this review for those mistakes. I suggest trying out their barista recommended drinks that usually include their syrups imported from Italy. All I have to say to the owners is thank you for providing Northgate neighborhood with amazing coffee. This vicinity has always lacked good quality coffee and now the wait is over! read more

This is one of my favorite coffeeshops in my neighborhood. The lattes are always super consistently made, and of course, delicious! They have pastries from various local bakeries and I've loved everything I've tried. Pistachio Croissant, Almond Croissant, the list goes on. I've also tried the deluxe avocado toast - also very good. It had the classic avo mash, but topped with cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and feta sprinkled on top. The inside is very inviting, modern and open. A great place to work or study from, if you're comfortable. One of the coolest parts is the old school reader board, like from old train stations. You can send messages from your phone that will appear on the giant screen (sadly not free though). read more

I've been here a few times when I've had to take my dog to the vet. Each time was worse than before. The coffee was horrible and never made to order; poorly mixed and bitter, tasted over roasted. The service was bad too - unwelcoming and as if they couldn't get me out of there fast enough. One of the friendliest coffee shops I have been to.... And the coffee is great! One of the baristas brought my latte out the other day and said "We are glad you're here." And it was just so genuine and earnest.... Everyone just seems like a great human. As I said, the coffee is wonderful and thoughtfully done. The espresso roast it called Nora- for the people of North Aurora Avenue. They offer specialty flavors depending on the season. As far as food goes, I've only had the deluxe avocado toast and it was great. They recently expanded their menu and offer a breakfast sandwich and a few lunch sandwiches. If you find yourself nearby, definitely stop in. We are moving soon and will be awfully sad to lose proximity to such a great spot! read more

I'd been dying to try Pilgrim every since they were solely a coffee truck, finally made it thanks to their brick and mortar's longer hours and weekend openings. I decided to order via the Joe app, mainly because I was getting so much I wanted the points...and rumor has it that app doesn't totally screw the coffee shop so....win-win? Although it wasn't too busy when we arrived (early on a Saturday morning) there was a good smattering of people and a line formed before we left, so I was glad to have ordered ahead. Got an Almond Milk Vanilla Latte, half sweet and split shot (I hate being pregnant...can't wait for full caffeine again!). I'm glad I got the coffee half sweet or it would have been way too much. So I'd note that. Got the husband a chai, it was fine. A fig and lemon pop tart that was very tasty, and a pound of Peabody coffee to take home. Just made my first latte with my take home beans 10/10. Smooth, tasty, love. Their pastries here are a fun mix from good places/people who really know how to make a coffee shop treat! Stumbled by this place when it was only the truck and I was thoroughly impressed by how good the coffee was. Now that the actual shop is opened, I'm even more impressed! The décor inside is a pretty modern rustic feel which I appreciate and is hard to find in the Northgate area. More importantly though, the guys working are always extremely friendly, nice/polite and accommodating. Like NOTICEABLY accommodating. To the point where my friend had mentioned it to me multiple times while we were there, and I definitely notice it every time I go as well. Whenever I try a new café, I always go for the caramel latte to compare to others and the one at Pilgrim is definitely one of my favorites around Seattle. I decided to try out their savory croissants today (both the ham & swiss and bacon & cheddar) and they were pretty amazing. Not sure where they get them from, but the croissants were so flakey, buttery and definitely stood out to me. I can tell I'm already going to have cravings for them in the mornings now. I've also tried their cookies before from a well known cookie company (name is slipping my mind) which were pretty good. Overall, this is definitely a coffeeshop worth trying out! It's big enough for lots of people to sit on their computers and work. the service is always good and the people are sweet and go out of their way to be helpful/accommodating. Was on my way to iHop next door for a quick bite but saw this place pulling into the parking lot. Stopped here for the first time and can confidently say I'll be a regular. Place has a nice ambiance and good amount of seating. Service was great, I didn't get the girls name but I mentioned to her it was my first time there and wanted some recs for food and coffee. The seasonal thanksgiving sandwich is must try, the flavors just melt in your mouth and tasted so fresh. And for the coffee she rec'd the maple cinn latte that I gotta say, it was probably one of the best coffees I've had hands down. Pilgrim is a hidden gem with delicious and creative espresso drinks, tempting baked goods and a chill vibe. Really appreciate that they also have 3 outdoor tables with heaters so I could meet up with friends outside! Came here in the fall and enjoyed the pumpkin spice latte as well as the cardamom mocha. The drinks are definitely made with expertise and I enjoyed the flavorful drinks that were high on flavor and not overly sugary. Would recommend either as well as a standard latte. The chocolate croissant was also delicious and I'd imagine their other baked goods are good too! I watched the guy making drinks, push the trash in the trashcan down with his bare hands and go back making coffee without washing his hands. Then he touched my cup, the ice scoop, scoop ice, and finish the coffee he was making for another customer. I mentioned to him that he needs to wash his hands after pushdown the trash with his bare hands. He said, yeah I know, I just dont want too. Seriously, after covid and everything. There are a lot of things I don't want to do like take double the victims and wear a mask and be a gem freak, but after I survived stage 4 colon cancer I have a weakened immune system. Came here for coffee with a friend and got the nitro cold brew. Was tasty, and the service was great -- someone even came around pouring glasses of water for those seated inside! Also, plenty of parking in the surrounding lot, which was nice. And the music playing inside was fairly quiet, which makes it nice for being able to have a good conversation. In some ways, only a few, 2021 wasn't so awful. I found Pilgrim Coffee while on my weekly trip to Central Market in Shoreline. I know, I know: Seattle = Starbucks, except it doesn't. There are small, unobtrusive, definitely uncorporate, genuinely genuine holes in the wall. Pilgrim Coffeehouse is one. I ended 2021 here, and I began 2022 here. That's not to say I slept on the bench where my middle-aged, privileged carcass is currently parked; not at all. For certain businesses, for certain reasons, I will make a trek for the menu, the people working there, the atmosphere and ambiance, and certainly here, for a good mug of joe. Large room, floor-to-ceiling windows, two doors, off-street parking, prices that are reasonable and fair, and a menu that honestly I'd expect in a five-star hotel in downtown Seattle. Oh----and CLEAN. The poured concrete floor is spotless. The counter is, at every opportunity, being cleaned and kept sanitary. This place just.....works. The kids who own and run it and work here are delightful. I hope this won't be the only Pilgrim Coffeehouse location, because their business model works. So why not five stars? The noise level. The speakers are too loud for me, and I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of Christian Pop/Rock. So, I have my phone piping my favorite winter jazz playlist through EarPods, and I'm perfectly content. I don't need anything changed here; I'll take care of the little details myself, because everyone else seems perfectly perfect in their contentment. Come to Pilgrim Coffeehouse. Another historically hot day in Seattle so I came out early to Pilgrim's Coffee for my morning time routine with the NYT and the WaPo. My cappuccino was outstanding as was the almond croissant. Best of all, they provide table service for customers hanging out! What a treat and a throw back to have table service at a coffee shop!
