I am a 40 year resident of Orlando and have a background in both construction and remodeling. I spent 5 years in the termite industry. I have been in customer service for over 30 years. This was my situation: my family home was unoccupied for a brief period while my mom recovered from some severe health issues. The house was checked frequently, but not frequently enough to catch a leak from our supposedly top of the line new roof. Before we realized it, mold had colonized every area of our house. Upon hearing a description of the situation multiple mold remediation companies suggested I hire an environmental consultant/mold hygienist to figure out the type of extensive protocol needed to deal with the contamination and damage our house sustained. I contacted Heather and she made time to come all of the way to north Florida from Orlando to assess our house. Heather scrutinized every inch of the building and then clearly laid out a description of our options. Since UES does not do the remediation/restoration themselves, they provide an unbiased assessment of what it will take to fix your problem and give you a healthy space to live in. Heather gave me lots of feedback on damage control and what matters most during restoration. She told me what corners absolutely could not be cut, but also provided suggestions on how to do some of the work myself, if I decided to take that approach, and on how to rescue, clean, and restore our most valuable possessions right away while insurance dilly-dallied with our claim. Heather's report was scientific, comprehensive, and invaluable to my mom and me. She stayed in touch with us long after she had a direct role in the situation and was very responsive at all stages. She and her company provide the kind of consideration you just do not experience with many companies. She really cares about you and your health and finding the best, safest solution to a mold and water damage situation. Heather's assistant James was also very knowledgeable and the two of them went over the house like detectives, cataloging, collecting samples, and explaining the dynamics of moisture, air flow, and mold as they went. I am confident that you can trust Heather and UES to give you an honest assessment of whatever situation you have that fits into their areas of expertise. From reading reviews online and talking to various friends, I gather that many companies prey on desperate people who just want to make sure they protect the health of their families, themselves, and their businesses from mold toxins. With the mold remediation business rife with charlatans, having someone truly trustworthy makes all the difference. Heather even started her own school to teach environmental assessment and air quality because of poorly done work she had seen in some cases when she had to come in and clean up another's mess. It's safe to say, I highly recommend UES.

Excellence from start to finish…read more I recently contracted with Revolution Roofing, working closely with their representative Andrew Collier. I interviewed many roofing companies and decided on Revolution for several reasons. First and foremost, Andrew and his team discovered issues with my roof that other roofing companies had failed to point out. I had a drainage issue with an almost completely flat portion of the roof. Andrew and his team came up with a solution that will prevent pooling and drainage issues in the future. Second, Andrew was quick to respond to questions and gather answers and information necessary for me to make an informed decision. Other companies failed to respond in a timely manner, if at all. Third, Andrew and the team took time to come out and visit the house several times prior to replacement, take pictures, have meetings formulating a plan, and developing a solution for a roof that will last for decades. Once the replacement began, the team started early and worked late, to ensure the process moved quickly. Each night the roof was secured to protect from any possible rain that might occur through the evening. They were in constant contact with me, either by call or text, sharing pictures, to inform me of situations they found as they uncovered the old roof, and offered different solutions for my opinion on how to correct them. As the job came to a close, the team quickly cleaned up all debris. Andrew made a site visit once the crew had left and spent time looking for any nails or materials that may have been missed. This is the 4th home inspection we have had with The Jeff Mackey team since 2001. Just had my daughter's home inspected by Reese and he found so many things that I didn't even catch (I'm a former Realtor with 30 yrs and usually pretty good at finding things before the inspector gets there). We had the Premium inspection with infrared scan, the pool and termite inspection. Their inspector was on time (early) very thorough and patient with all of our questions... he got up on the roof, in the very hot attic, took off panels to check the ac coils, Electric panel etc. He even opened all the windows and doors checking for faulty hardware, warping and balance....I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Jeff Mackey Team! read more

Despite paying the full invoice, Alex retaliated by sending me to a debt collector for a debt that did not exist.The whole process ended in extensive, costly property damage, unfinished job, and legal intimidation from Alex. Attached before-and-after photos of my property, along with screenshots of text messages, so everyone can see the undeniable proof of how this company operates. On 16/06, I requested a quote from Alexander Elliot for a Roof Wash $550 and Moss Treatment $225. Alex provided this quote purely via online property records without an on-site inspection. On June 18th, I agreed to add a House Wash package for $400 + 7% tax, totaling $1,257.25 to cover fascia boards, doors, windows. At no point did Alex or his technician, Davante, disclose that highly concentrated bleach would be sprayed directly onto my property. I explicitly requested the crew to protect my extensive plant collection, security cameras, video doorbell, and electrical outlets prior to start the cleaning. The technician flatly refused to cover anything, stating they did not carry protective plastic and he know what he is doing so I should not worry too much. He told me not to come out until I hear a knock on the door. A couple of hours later when I heard the knock on the door the technician told me he is finished and immediately I discovered severe damage which was very visible: *My front door--originally painted in red color--was bleached to a bright orange with severe chemical damages and very visible waterlines. *The surrounding lawn, flowers, and plants were completely soaked in bleach and are actively dying. * Windows and large glass doors were left filthy with visible chemical streaks, and the pool deck area was left entirely soiled. When I attempted to review the damages with Alex via phone, he refused to listen, and spoke to me like a child. He immediately accused me of trying to avoid payment and threatened to place a lien on my property, send me to a collections agency, and initiate legal action. Recognizing that I am a foreign homeowner, exploited my vulnerability to bully me into immediate payment. To resolve the issue, I requested that he repaint the front door red color card that his technician carried then I will pay the invoice in dispute due to the damages caused. The crew packed up and left without fixing the damage. Later that same day, at 3:01 PM, my community security application alerted me that the crew had re-entered my gated community without my permission, claiming to gate security they were returning to paint. Instead, I found the young technician wandering my private property taking unauthorized photographs. He informed me that Alex asked him to go back and take photos.I warned them of trespassing, notified the main security gate to bar their re-entry, and emailed Alex of the security breach which he ignored once again. On 06/19, despite the severe property damage and Mr. Elliot's refusal to inspect the property in person, I transferred the full invoiced amount of $1,257.25 in good faith to resolve the financial dispute, explicitly asking him to honor his word to fix the door. Shockingly, on 22/06, --2 days after receiving the full payment, Alex maliciously referred me to DCI Debt Collectors in Florida.
