Garlic naan, lamb, chickpeas, veggie curry, shrimp birhyani. Loved the chicken masala and veggie samosas too, not pictured. All great!

Delicious, authentic food and attentive service. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Pimlico Tandoori.

Came with my sister, about an hr before it closed. Our waiter was so rude, it seems like he just wanted to get us out of there. I asked for some recommendations and he just brush it off saying everything was good. In the end we ordered the tandoori chicken and this other dish... and tandoori chicken was good, but the yellow-er curry one was so sweet. Wasn't sure if I was having dinner or dessert. I also got the chicken samosas, it was pretty good.

Had an excellent experience here tonight. We were in the mood for some warm, comforting, Indian food and Pimlico Tandoori was right around the corner from our Holiday Inn. The decor is upscale - think white table cloths and leather chairs. When we arrived we were promptly seated at the table of our choice. We were seen to by two servers who were both friendly and attentive. Between four people we shared four main dishes, two sides of rice and two pieces of Garlic Naan. It was the perfect amount of food. I would say that the dishes were a little bit sweeter than what I've had back home in the US. They were all delicious though. The Chicken Tikka Masala had large chunks of juicy chicken breast with a bright and flavorful tomato sauce. The Vegetable Pasanda was rich and creamy with nice large prices of cauliflower, green beans and carrots, garnished on top with toasted almonds. And the last dish, the Sag Halim was also very creamy and flavorful with delicate spinach throughout. This dish was quite sweet tasting for a main course but nevertheless was thoroughly enjoyed. They also have some nice looking sides including Saag Paneer and coconut rice. I would return to Pimlico Tandoori not only for the food but also because of the excellent service. When our meal was finished our servers brought us warm towelettes to clean our hands and a generous helping of chocolates with our bill. It was such a nice experience and the perfect end to our day.

On a trip to London, we wanted to make sure that we sampled all cuisines. Indian was at the top of the list and Pimlico was highly recommended. It was close to our hotel and we decided to try it out. This place is not to be missed. Food - all of the food was really good. We started off with the vegetable samosas. For our main dishes, we had the Lamb Rogan Josh and the Tandori Chicken. Everything was spot on as the flavors were very good. Atmosphere- This is a small, intimate restaurant. Only a handful of tables are in the establishment but the layout and ambience is really nice. Service - The service was very good. They were attentive but not in your face which is what I like. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall this is a quality establishment that has great food, atmosphere and service.

    RAW CHICKEN!! WTF??!!

DO NOT COME HERE! Our waiter was rude and forced more food on us than we wanted. Then the chicken salad I ordered had RAW CHICKEN!! I tell them this and they act like nothing was wrong, they didn't Comp the plate or apologize at all! This place should be shut down! STAY AWAY!!

We checked in on the lady with the tablet on the right side of the entrance. The left side is for walk ins. Super long line even at 5pm. But they were handing out small glasses of chai and something else. Anyway, the reservation line is short and they sat us right away. We wished we could have sat at the patio - it's covered. We didn't see that until we were already drinking. Well, next time! The ambiance - beautiful spot with lots and lots of tables. Every single one of them was taken. Tons of staff! They take good care of you here. Patrons vary, from dates to family dinners - the whole gamet! Come one, come all! The drinks came out right away. Dishoom IPA and chai. Beer came with a frosted glass. The chai was delicious! The food was amazing! Goan monkfish curry Ruby chicken Saffron cauliflower Garlic naan Basmati rice Everything was superb! So we did some research. Somewhere along the line we found Meraz written up as one of the 12 best Indian restaurants in England. Okay, so we trek over to the East End (pretty wild neighborhood that we enjoyed) for dinner at Meraz. My husband was disappointed not to find a particular dish on the menu, but the waiter didn't hesitate to offer to have the kitchen whip it up special for him. My husband also went a little wild ordering all sorts of appetizers and side dishes. Now I don't like to deal in hyperbole. A five star rating should be sufficient praise. But I'm going to go overboard just this once: BEST INDIAN FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN IN A RESTAURANT. EVER. I've eaten in Indian restaurants at home in Chicago, in L.A., New York, St.Louis, Atlanta, San Francisco, etc., etc. etc. Many have been good, but none approached this. We ate every scrap of all the food we ordered, and only because we had a tight timeline and a busy itinerary for our brief visit to London did we not go back for at least a second meal.

I think a big part of their business is catering events, but there are always people in the restaurant as well. Their spinach is good. My flatmate loves their mushroom rice. Chicken Jalfry is nice and spicy. Chicken korma is sweet and mild. What they call "Taste of Balti" is very tasty too. Most of it is basically exactly how it should be (in my heathen opinion at least). Meat dishes are between £4 and £6. Veggie sides around £3 (go Sag Aloo!).
