Just kind of ok. Nice service and good seating area with heaters (not strong enough though). Food was a bit overpriced but serviceable. I had the salt lassi which I really liked at least - thick and rich. Portions were generous too! On the whole you won't go wrong here but there are better places for Indian food in London :)

Chicken Tikka Masala - sort of.

First off. The 15% off your first visit coupon is no longer valid according to an unseen manager. Onion Bahji appetizer was spot on. Excellent tamarind chutney accompanies. Main course is a bit of a mystery. I ordered chicken tikka masala which I did not see on the menu but there were other masala dishes available so I figured they could manage it. Chicken was cooked perfectly but the sauce was brown, thick and gravy like. I've never seen this before being sold as masala. Definitely a different taste than I am used to as well. Everyone does things a bit different so maybe it was me. Naan was wonderful and the rice was perfect. I'd eat here again but order only from the menu.

This was one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. Pictures is the samosa chaat and chicken tikka masala. The samosa chaat was the surprise hit for me. I'm not taking away from the mandala either, it was rich and very good. I will come back when I visit London again.

I was looking up the top Indian restaurants in London and most of the restaurants on this list were michelin star restaurants. I figured if Bombay Palace is being mentioned in the same list as michelin star restaurants it must be good. After checking the website, I saw Bombay Palace does Thali Tuesday for lunch and dinner. I was sold after that and booked a reservation. The service was great. They were friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal. The restaurant is very clean and gives off a nice atmosphere. The food was so good. We started with Onion Bhaji & Punjabi Samosa. Both were great, some of the best samosas I've eaten. However, the real treat was the thali. I ordered the non veg thali. My favorite part about thali is being about to sample each little dish. Each dish was very good both on an individual and as a whole. My favorite was definitely the lentils. If you are craving good Indian, I highly recommend Bombay Palace.

Great food and I must say exceptional service. Beautiful place and the menu was easy to understand. Food was on point and spicy specially the fish. Naan bread was warm and delicious great wine selection. I would go back there and try other dishes for sure.

Some of the best Indian ever. Former chef at Bukara. Cheese and spinach mukhani, Goan green Fish curry, Chicken Tikka masala. Wow, so delicious. Forget how great real Indian is. Just can't find it this good in the US

A great resturant but can be a little pricey but still in my view worth the money. Been twice so far and food has been consistently good.

I had the tandoori salmon, which was perfectly cooked and the chicken korma was also perfection.

We started with some yummy cocktails and the okra fries which were delicious - if only okra always tasted this good. For mains, we shared the chicken tikka, black daal, paneer and garlic naan. Pretty standard Indian order. The chicken tikka was just too spicy and we weren't used to that so it went mainly eaten. My favorite was the black daal but again, it wasn't so amazing that I would go and have it again. Honestly the best dish we had was dessert - the basmati kheer is a perfect rice pudding with crème brûlée like topping. So good. Service was spotty, I constantly found myself trying to find our server or make eye contact with him. They were slammed on a Tuesday night (which I'm sure is the case every night) so that's probably just the way things are but it could've been better. Disappointed but willing to try again, also made me want to try some other Indian spots in London next.

We got the dry meat and it was a good portion, nothing exceptional per se. The naan had pools of ghee on it which I don't think was necessary. The menus are sticky and the bathrooms are pretty dirty. Absolutely loved Tayyabs!…read more The one thing I knew I needed when visiting London was Indian food and I'm so happy I found this restaurant. Found this restaurant on Yelp after seeing such great reviews and I wasn't disappointed! At first, I was nervous my friend and I wouldn't get a table due to how busy the restaurant was but since we were only two people, we had no issue getting a table. Seating is tight! You are almost arm to arm with the individuals sitting around you which I actually found to be a great experience. My friend and I ended up striking conversation with the people next to us which led to a fun dining experience. Service was quick! We ordered food and it came out quickly and all waiters were super attentive. In terms of food, everything was absolutely delicious and portion sizes were huge! First we ordered the lamb chops and the samosas which were absolutely amazing. We then ordered the chicken and lamb dishes with the naan which completely filled us. I can't wait to come back and I will absolutely be dreaming about this restaurant until I come back!
