I'm a big bubble tea fan and at this point I've tried a bunch of spots around the city. I have to say this is one of the better ones. They've got all the standard teas and you can customize based on your preferred sugar level. You can order your tea on a machine and your tea will be ready in no time! There's a bit of seating in the shop, but not a ton, so I'd recommend taking your tea to go. However, the interior is pretty vibey. There's an order kiosk as well as someone at the register which is a plus for efficiency! Their menu was extensive with milk teas, regular teas, slushes, and more. They hand you the order with a smile on their faces. Boba texture was a check in my book being chewy without being too soft or firm. I opted for their brown sugar milk tea, less ice and less sugar. It was okay; I can agree with the other reviews that say that their boba does not have much taste to them and overall, the drink itself was on the blander side. My husband thought this drink was good and enjoyed it. Longan Honey Green Tea, $5.25 prior to tax- My ordered this drink to be made with 50% sweetener and no ice as well. I wasn't too sure if this drink would be really sweet because it is made with honey but I thought it was good. I don't normally like green tea but I thought it was good with this combination with honey and longan. ----------------------- (Total= $11.16 after tax) The drinks here are kind of expensive and probably wouldn't have normally gone here since I try to frequent tea houses back home under $5 per drink. The prices here are not bad (most drinks are around $4-5 without toppings). I don't think the tea flavor is as strong as other places. In my experience the brown sugar drinks are veryyyyy sweet. I tried their brown sugar boba milk tea with 75% sugar and it was too sweet for me. However, I liked the pearls (very chewy!) so I wanted to give them another chance. I was curious about the dark brown sugar option on their menu (50 cents more than the regular brown sugar) so I tried the dark brown sugar boba milk tea with 50% sugar. Still too sweet for me! Maybe I'll try 25% or 0% next time. So I wasn't really confident about this place from some of the reviews, but I decided to give it a try and it was a pleasant surprise. The strawberry tea was really flavorful. You can definitely taste the strawberry, and you can see all the pulp in a really satisfying way as you're drinking more and more of it. There are even strawberry seeds at the bottom, which add to the textural experience. As per the pearls, they were fine! I was concerned by some reviews that said they were hard, but they were fine at least when I got my drink. Pretty foul service. They upcharge you without informing you with no receipt given. And while waiting for our drink we overheard another customer was talking with them about the amount charged. Another Asian lady behind the counter stepped in to explain it's because the credit card companies charge the business a fee and because the customer gets 2% back using their cards. The whole experience was off putting, even if it was second hand. I think the customer receiving whatever cash back for what credit card they use is a pretty terrible reason for them charging more to make up for it. She should have just left it as credit card companies charge an extra fee and explain they'll work better to ensure this is communicated prior to the customer swiping their card, done. The business made no attempt to make it right for the customer at all or to deescalate the situation. Looks like they lost a customer that day and I hope this review brings light to them properly informing customers in a polite way and having more signs so it's clear of their extra charges on credit cards. My $5.25 taro milk tea with white boba ($0.50 extra) came out to $6.91 with tax. I don't really know how but I didn't contest it as it probably wouldn't change anything. If you're wondering how their boba is, the taro milk tea is ok. Not terrible but not amazing. The white boba is similar to coconut jelly which I enjoyed.
