A great place to grab your favorite bubble tea, right in the heart of Fenway! I really appreciate the menu at Ten One. They have quite a few herbal and floral and tea options, as well as all the standard tea options. They also bring in a lot of seasonal teas, which are always a great option to try. I do appreciate that there are non-dairy options so that people with allergies can get a milk tea and not suffer for it lol. Lots of toppings options and ways to customize even the "standard" drinks to your liking. The drinks have been consistent when I have ordered (both tea and boba consistency). Not sure if it's all locations or just this one, but they have some fun discounts sometimes. Like for halloween this year, you got a 25% discount if you were dressed up in a costume. They seem to do some BOGO deals too so definitely a place to keep an eye on if you are a bubble tea fan! This location is definitely an order and take your drink to-go, but so are most bubble tea places in the area. Cute little shop on Boylston street! Been here a couple times and had the lavender forest one time and the rose fruit tea and brown sugar boba milk tea another time. All three were amazing and delicious. The staff - I think she is the manager- who was there both times was very friendly and knowledgeable and actually it was her recommendation that we went with and were pleased we did. Ordering is easy and we got our drinks quickly. Sometimes the store can get busy and there maybe a short wait. I've gone to Ten One a few times before in other locations, but was really happy to see a location in Fenway! It's tucked near EventBrite and is a little hidden, but it's a cute little spot. You can order at the counter or at kiosks, and I like the contactless ordering it offered. My girlfriend and I ordered the same thing: medium strawberry green teas with half sugar and were the only ones in the store for a little bit. It took about ten minutes to make both drinks and they were delicious! The 50% sugar is still good, but just a liiiiittle too sweet for my liking. I wish places offered 30% sugar or other levels, but that's not a common thing I've seen at other places like this. The employees were quiet, but very kind. My new favorite boba chain! I only recently started seeing Ten One's pop up around the city. But it has grown to become the one boba place I constantly go to now. This Ten One location is in the Fenway area and it's a small but mighty shop. It was really busy when I got there and there was a line at the ordering counter as well as the ordering kiosk. I always like "contactless" ordering because I always feel bad making so many adjustments (that are sometimes confusing). It's just easier for me to make customizations without bothering someone about it. Their ordering kiosks are actually really great and are able to address everything that I care about; sugar level, ice level, toppings and/or removing toppings. Their kiosks accept tap payment but unfortunately don't take Discover cards as a payment (in case that is your primary card). Their drinks are a bit pricey BUT, as a self proclaimed boba connoisseur, it's worth it for the high quality tea they use and the unique toppings! My favorite drink here is the apple black tea with dragon fruit boba (dragon fruit boba is only available on weekends). But all the other fruit flavored drinks are also really good as well! I haven't had one drink with hard boba yet so they must be timing how long before they make the next batch. I also frequent their Arsenal Yards location, as well as the Assembly One. They def are following SOP's because all my drinks have been consistently good no matter which location I go to- which is great! read more

I stopped by on 10/1 for their BOGO deal! I don't remember the exact name of my drink, but it was an osmanthus milk tea with brown sugar boba. I was happy to find that the drink wasn't super watery (as I had experienced with the back bay location). It had a light floral taste, but wasn't overpowering to the point that it tasted like perfume. Since the brown sugar boba already has sugar, I'd recommend getting a lower sugar level. For $4 this was an absolute steal. Note: there were quite a few bees flying around the store so maybe avoid this if you have bee-phobia. The shop is really small. We stumbled upon the Watertown location's grand opening, so they don't have a yelp page yet. But I loved the drinks, and the lavender flavor was very new to me. I loved that it wasn't overbearing as a drink. The Lemon Yakult tasted exactly like a Lime flavored fruit bar. After a short run nearby, I was craving boba tea and saw Ten One across the street and popped right in. I'm a sucker for anything citrus or orange, so went with the Orange Green tea. Loved it! What I liked even more was the last coconut dessert they had on display. It was a ball of coconut with a mushed up center made of mango. Pretty solid choice for Boba if you're in the Fenway area! The store is tucked away between the Target and Sephora, so it was a bit hard to locate on Google Maps but we found it! I stopped by on a Friday evening and placed on order for a medium strawberry green tea with 50% sugar and regular ice. This is my usual order, though I would have liked if the they offered more variety in sugar levels (most boba places offer 0, 30, 50, 70, 100, 120) in that order, but here you could only select 0, 50, or 100. I usually prefer 30%, so the 50 was a bit too sweet for me, but it was still very good! I enjoyed the little freeze-dried strawberry pieces in the drink, and the medium was a pretty big cup. The wait time was a little long as we were the only ones in the store, but I'm still glad I tried this place! read more

I always get the matcha tea latte with dragonfruit boba, but the dragonfruit boba had hard cores and the sugar was way too sweet for 50%. Ordered a few drinks to go since I was in the area. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't have it right away but the boba was too squishy for my likings. I got a brown sugar milk tea which was a little bland and too sweet even with my modification of less sugar and ice. My friends seemed to like their drinks plum milk tea and matcha tea so I suppose it's based on what you get. Workers were a little annoyed I didn't know what I wanted since I had to inform my friends they didn't have a hibiscus tea. Establishment is relatively clean but has some additional storage items piled up in the back. Not sure if I'd make another trip unless I wanted their donuts. read more

I've been wanting to come here for a while now and finally stopped in. The menu is very extensive with lots of different options. The tea was good, but it is a bit pricy for the quality of what you're getting. There were only a few people there and the service was really fast and the inside of the shop was very cute and seemed very clean as well. My tea was really sweet with 75% sugar so I'd recommend getting reduced sugar if you don't like super sweet drinks (and especially if you get the brown sugar boba). My only issue was that the staff didn't seem super friendly. Love the assortment of bubble tea here. They have floral flavors which is SO HARD to find. I got large, lavender flavor with chiffon milk, coconut jelly, half sugar, and less ice. It came to $7.70 and tasted great. The staff member who made my drink was especially nice and answered multiple questions for me. I'm not in Fenway super often but I'd definitely come back here if I was. I definitely want to try the osmanthus flavor. Only complaint is that there is no indoor seating, but I know that's just the size of the space they have (it's a small space and they just have to work with what they have). Overall very happy with my drink. I would definitely recommend getting light ice, as even the "less ice" option came with too much ice imo. They should definitely add a half ice option. I used to not be a fan of Ten One, but I've grown to like it more. I've tried multiple drinks from here and my favorites are the regular milk tea with boba, the orange green tea with aloe, and the rose milk tea with boba. All are super refreshing, but the orange green tea is definitely my go to. Just super light and the best way to enjoy a refreshing drink on a hot Boston day. They have slushes and that's definitely on my bucket list to try! Service is always super fast and the baristas are super sweet. The brown sugar drink is not super sweet like tiger sugar so it doesn't make me feel gross/not heavy, while the lavendar forest drink is so refreshing on a hot day. Not a bad spot for boba in Boston! The menu at Ten One is a bit different than most other bubble tea chains around Boston. They focus a lot more on the floral and tea options, and have a smaller menu. I have come to this location quite often as there aren't a lot of other bubble tea options in the Fenway area and I have enjoyed their drinks! I love trying their seasonal options, which currently includes a number of osmanthus drinks. I do prefer my milk teas on the creamier side, which is not what Ten One drinks provide as they are more refreshing with a stronger tea note than the milk they use. Their topping selection is pretty minimal and is something that I suggest skipping. Their boba pearls are on the firmer side and I've tried their heart-shaped tea jelly as well, all of which is not very worth the $1 extra you pay for them. Otherwise, the drinks themselves are pretty good and the options are fun! My favorite order currently is their Earl Grey Milk Tea. The store itself is very small with no seating. Most people order via the two kiosks in the store, and you can also order on your phone through the Snackpass app to stack up loyalty points for free drinks (pro tip ). There is an option to order at the register but usually the staff are busy making drinks. read more

this is a cute little boba shop in fenway! emphasis on "little" though, because there is no indoor or outdoor seating. there are two kiosks to order right by the front door. try to order quickly because people will enter right behind you, since there's very little room to move about. i found the kiosk menu easy to navigate since it's organized by type of drinks. there are also more boba options depending on the drink you're selecting. their fruit teas hit different during warm weather and come with little fruit inclusions! their coveted dragon fruit boba (1$ more) is only available friday-sunday after 1pm (they open at 12). if you're ordering any of the fruit drinks, i highly suggest getting it over the other ones. we came around 2pm and there was decent traffic inside, but we only waited for maybe 5 minutes before our drinks were ready. i feel like these prices are pretty standard for bubble tea in this area (aka pricey) especially with their many upcharges. it is a cute spot to stop by on a warm day but i don't see myself coming as often due to lack of seating and the pricing. read more

My friends and I were craving boba one weekend so we came here after lunch. We loved how many options there were in terms of toppings and floral teas. It was great to have many non dairy options too because one of my friends is lactose intolerant and the staff was very accomodating in terms of explaining what had dairy or not. I personally am not a huge fan of the tapioca here as it isn't as soft and gets hard quickly if you don't drink it immediately. If you do drink it immediately, it's super super chewy. Their boba is not bad but their tea is a bit too strong so it's slightly bitter. I'd only go there if I don't have to worry about sleeping well at night. Some reviewers are right that the staff here is very rude - they yelled at me for not knowing immediately what I wanted or for not ordering how they wanted - which includes telling them milk choice, ice level, sugar level, and type of boba in one sentence. When I requested the bag, the guy literally snapped at me to get it myself. I only asked because some shops in Boston charged the customers for bags.
