My go to late night stop in the Loop with an excellent drink menu. Zach makes the best martinis! Love that pizza when I need a snack especially when Sarah is in the kitchen! Always a vibe when they have DJ MAHF spinning! So grab a few friends and go throw some bowling balls for a fun night!

    "Grilled Cheese".

Came here to eat before a concert because everything else was booked. After finally getting the bartenders attention (a feat in itself)we ordered 2 grilled cheeses and an order of T-ravs, which I had to repeat 3X to the bartender in a span of about 5 minutes because they kept forgetting...what seemed like forever later the food comes out...one slice of American cheese on barely toasted bread, and was completely cold (see pic) with bland, cold chips on the side. T ravs were chewy and overcooked. How do you mess up grilled cheese and t-ravs?? I would have been embarrassed to serve food like that at my establishment. I was thinking about coming back to bowl sometime until the food came out. If y'all need a cook, I make a mean grilled cheese...

First time here. We came around 5pm, friday. Wasn't busy at all. Super clean, vintage/Art Deco looking place. It has only 5 lanes. Very cute! $6 per game and $4 for shoe rental. Ordered toasted ravs, pretzels and Civil Life brown beers (one of our favorite). Everything was perfect. Service was fast since we were the first customers around that time. In 45 min, it got busy.

Very convenient location ! Seems to be very popular ! Affordable prices! Staff was friendly but they seemed to be understaffed, only one person as a bartender and for the lines , our kind was bought for 10 games and it keep stopping at the before that! Overall clean and comfortable!

    Business hours!!

NO I do not recommend this spot. Here's why; if your business hours state your closing time is 3am, I expect you to serve alcohol until 2:30am at least. This is the consensus of all other establishment that serve liquor with a 3am license. However, after waiting for someone to serve me, 1.5hrs prior to closing time (between 1:00am - 1:15am), I was told the bar is close. I communicated I've been waiting here while I watched you serve others. The gentleman replied, "I'm only one person" to which I replied, it's like 4 of you all walking around. His response after that was, "not everyone can serve." I responded to that by asking, so you're telling me I've been waiting here for 10 minutes (minimally), and since you all are choosing to close earlier than your business hours stated, I'm not able to be served? His response was "yes." To which, I communicated to those that I brought with me (I recommended this venue, but never again) that I'm leaving. This is ridiculous. You not making the money or bringing in the business you would like to had NO barring on me. I expect service based on your hours of service. It's unacceptable not to. My friends are servers at establishments that close earlier, and sometimes are not able to enjoy themselves after work, unless a business is open later. This is why I recommended this place. However, after being shuttled 20-25 minutes in their direction, only to receive bad service, NEVER again. GET IT TOGETHER!! I've attached the business hours. It's just now 2am, as I complete this review.

I still have yet to hit 200 while bowling. But this place us still great. Every other lane is skipped for social distancing and the drinks are pretty good. I had an awesome time the few times I've been and I'll def be going back. Make reservations if you have a group of 4+.

Great Hang in The Loop! Delmar Blvd has its share of good bar and restaurant, and if you're a concert goer like me, you want a place to hang before big shows at The Pageant and Delmar Hall. Look no further than down the street. Pin-Up Bowl is your place. I've been going to Pin-Up for as long as they've been open, but lately it's been more frequent because of my concert schedule. Depending on the act, I might go into Halo Bar early, but if I'm in no rush, Pin-Up is great for a few pints and a snack. And let's not forget the bowling. You can bowl until two in the morning every night of the week! It's a great idea for a late night hangs or even scheduling an event. Their beer selection is pretty solid. I usually don't have any trouble finding something new to drink, and they even have a weekday hour happy from 4-7 that features $3 Schlafly beers. The service usually very good, too. Olivia was bartender last time, and she was pretty awesome! If you're looking for a late night bar or wanting to bowl somewhere more exciting than your average alley, you should check out Pin-Up Bowl in The Loop.

Awesome bowling alley close to or in the Loop. Not a huge place as far as lanes go, but they have about 8 lanes there. Everything is electronic which is nice. You basically only have to enter names and/or teams and then go from there. Each lane has its own computer and then a screen right above the lane. Sometimes with these newer lanes there are some issues with the pins resetting etc, not here which was nice. Plenty of bowls and plenty of different weights well. The bar, which also serves food, is to the left when you walk in. Lots of tabletop areas in the bar area and then tables and chairs right by the lanes. You pay for shoes as well and then per game. I don't remember the prices but our group played about 2 or 3 games and it wasn't bad. Staff were cool and we were lucky enough to almost have the place to ourselves. Bowling is a lost game I think but this place helps keep that going which is a good thing.

Cute place to bowl in a lively atmosphere. Not big enough to be a bowling alley in the traditional sense.

British Bar INSIDE a "British designed hotel", so I had my hopes probably heightened more that it should have with my previous British bar results. I went in thinking British craziness and got a "Edgar Allen Poe" feel... But I'm going to say this was NOT what I was expecting. First and foremost, your eyes are going to need adjusting. Plain and simple, it felt more like a dark ... room? (Part of the problem I think is that as it was already June, you can forget using the fireplace to lighten the room up) so it felt.. "Small", and I"m going to feel weird saying this... "Romantic Horrorfest". Wait, before you go "wha??", this isnt' necessarily a bad thing. The Taxidermy , the photos on the wall. the fireplace. the VERY (and I mean VERY) dim lighting... The limited seating on the main floor, the one door in and out it had a "wooden cabin feel".. Yes, if you had a wonderful romantic film and it was suddenly invaded by some monster villain... This where it would take place and it would be perfect. (See I can find positive things to say about things i wasn't looking for) As for the service, apparently (going back to the Romantic filmfest), I was struggling to get any attention for the bartendress, cause I guess I was solo'ing by myself, and because of how I wasn't able to get the bartendress attention... I kinda felt like an unwanted customer in a place more for couples or friends getting together which had me leaving shortly thereafter, so no real food score (although I will say, much like Oh London ,the menu wasn't really much to work through...), Anyway, no TV's, no world cup game on the air.. just like I said a vibe of a cabin in a "romantic movie, where the monsters lurk". And Apologies for some of the iffy pictures, it just didn't feel right using a flash on the camera in such a secluded locale) and like I said, it wasnt' what I was expecting (rowdy British fans watching the local club or something), but there's something about it that even i have to admit, would make this location a nice "date night" or "out with friends' location, more so than just a single person looking for a nightcap. (And Maybe there really is a monster hiding in the fireplace, to keep the "Horror" feel going?? :)

The restaurant itself is quite small and is located on the other side of Yellow Belly. The entrance has minimal space that looks to be able to accommodate 4 or 6 people if you're waiting for a table. Inside, the spacing is fairly decent for being a smaller location. I didn't feel too crammed dining and the 2-seater table was of normal size so there was enough room. We were seated right by the entrance with a curtain separating the area. True to its name, a Tiger statue sits at the entrance which is decorated in tropical manner. The theme continues within the restaurant. Lazy Tiger has a happy hour which if I remember correctly, ended at 6:30. Their cocktails are $12 during happy hour (rather than $14) and they have a selection of snack type items which you could have as appetizers if you'd like. We both got a cocktail. My husband had the human costume (gin, amaro, blanc vermouth, melon, gnartruese, malic acid) and I had the humble brag (gin, rhum, salted banana, forbidden rice, coconut, lemon). Both were refreshing and different but in a good and surprising way. We started with the nachos from the happy hour menu and added some pork belly per our writer's recommendation. I love pork belly anything anyway. The nacho was a huge serving! And it was very tasty with a good amount of crispy pork belly peppered throughout. I had the Morrocan spiced halibut served with couscous, asparagus, Spanish chorizo, tomatoes, pistachio dukkah. Halibut was well seasoned and prepared perfectly. We also shared an order of the vegetable fried rice and added some spam because I am a sucker for spam fried rice. It came with some chili crisps which brought the dish to another level. My husband had the tamales which he thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't get to try some but it looked fantastic. We ended up taking home the rest of my meal and the rest of the fried rice which have been devoured over the weekend. Service was fantastic. I love the vibe, I love the food!
