Stopped in for a to go order tonight. Would NOT recommend this place. Got a fresh pizza to go, was basically sauce and cheese on cardboard. Cheese fries with whiz...not authentic whiz, a very bitter and nasty tasting knockoff. Wings were dry and mostly fat instead of meat. Good luck if you try eating here. read more

Pina's is a hit or miss pizza place. When it's a hit - it's hot, fresh, made with care. When it's a miss, it's burnt on the bottom and inedible. Two tips - when you order, you really have to request a "fresh pizza", because if you don't - they'll grab a pizza that's been sitting on the counter for too long, throw your toppings on top of it, and burn it in the oven. Second tip - ask them not to burn the bottom of the pizza. If all goes well - you have a pretty decent pizza. If it doesn't go well - you'll get home with an inedible pizza and your family basically blaming you for not bringing dinner home. Hopefully your experience will be better. read more

I love the variety of Pizza they have displayed! I had the Sicilian Slice which I would call a margarita with fresh Mozzarella and fresh chopped basil and It was spot on. Crispy thin crust!! Drinks are Coke products and are available in bottles, cans and from a Fountain. This reminds me of the pizza parlors of my childhood where everyone is comfortable stopping in and grabbing a slice. I now know the downside of having a pizza parlor make pies for display purposes. If you are unfortunate enough to come in for a late pizza slice lunch, you end up eating old pizza from the display, rather than anything remotely fresh. I learned this lesson the hard way a few days ago, when I stopped in after 2:30 for a small repast to tide me over until dinner. My Tomato Pie was sauce without cheese (In my world it is sauce over cheese). It was okay, but basically too acidic from sitting around for many hours. Too, the plain slice while large, had an overworked crust that proved tough and chewy rather than crisp as a cracker. Time had not been kind to it. I liked the gentleman who prepared my slices in the oven and brought them to the table, and it was not his responsibility to make a new pie for me. Still, there outta be a rule that says display pizzas are dumped after being out in the open for more than 2 or 3 hours, so they are not reheated beyond human tolerances. read more

If you're in the mood for freshly made NY style pizza, whether Napolitan or Sicilian style, Pina's is the place in Doylestown. They also have good sandwiches, buffalo wings and mild "crispy" wings. Unfortunately I can't say the same about their pasta dishes. Most of the time the pasta appears to have been precooked and thawed and the sauces don't have the flavor you expect. Too "out of the can" for my taste. read more

Stopped while getting new shoes for boos whip It's an unassuming little spot In a strip mall that you could walk right past without knowing it. I was greeted with a hello and a smile from everyone inside, the service was friendly and on point. They have a ton of options here but I had a slice of cheese and a Brooklyn corner. Both were surprisingly good and crispy, I liked the sauce and crust especially but all of the ingredients seemed nice and fresh. They were busy with their lunch rush while I was in but handled it with grace and ease, they were Lind and helpful to everyone that came thru the door. Excellent customer service!! I ordered one large plain pie and a chicken and broccoli alfredo dinner. My husband went to pick up the food and when he got home we realized it was one large chicken and broccoli alfredo pizza! It looked absolutely delicious but unfortunately not what we ordered. I called back and explained and the woman was so apologetic and said we can keep the pie and pick up our correct order with no extra charge since it was an error. (Our correct order was $6 more). She even said she'll throw in extra garlic knots with our order. We order from here often and it was so nice that they cared and wanted us to be happy with our dinner tonight! read more

I am not a big pizza eater, but I lknow Pina's stuff is fresh and good. Try to order a whole pie and eat it there for the freshest and best atsting pie. Sometimes the slices on the counter get a little old and dried out. My 3 year old loves it here - and I'll usually run next door to saladworks and get something for myself. This place is kind of tucked away. I only got here because a coworker and I were working in the shopping center yesterday. I wasn't going to get anything until I saw the pizza slice selection. I was sold. I grabbed a slice of the chicken broccoli alfredo, and it was yummy. I like my crust with a little crunch to it, so that was good for me! Staff was friendly and quick. If you are looking for variety of topics on a pizza, you definitely found the right place. Very friendly staff. Wife and i tried a few different slices. Some slices felt a bit greasy and as if they were laying around on the counter for some time. The garlic knots were just ok, for wife and myself, they lacked flavor. I would have definitely liked more garlic flavor, the tomato dipping sauce was very good. I will definitely be back for their Brooklyn and plain pizza, this definitely took me back to pizza on sound st. We have eaten here a few times and the pizza is pretty good. Today, we drove a good distance for their pizza and when we got there there were only 4 square slices left. The pizza looked like it was sitting for a while so we asked if they were making a fresh pie. We were told no. Thus was unusual since it was 5 o'clock and they close at 9. We reluctantly agreed to get the leftover slices that the counter girl said had been there all day. We changed our minds and decided to just order our own fresh pie, but we were told that the pizza was already in the oven and even if we ordered a pie we still had to take the 4 slices. DO NOT EAT HERE, way over charged and they are sneaky about it. Went to eat here yesterday mostly because all other restaurants I wanted to go to were closed. Ordered 2 tuna hoagies, 1 eggplant parm., 1 chicken parm., 4 drink, one order of fries one order of onion rings total $81.30. Got home and went on their website and added up bill according to prices online should have been $73.25. Called manager Tony son of owner and told him I think I was over charged and he went into full blown yelling at me, he went postal on me. Told me he charges different prices then what's on internet and his menus. Menu said hoagie was $7.95 when I called Tony said was $11.95. Who does that. Told me to bad price is $81.30. Told me cheese in on a hoagie is $.75 up charge, who the hell charges extra for cheese in a hoagie. Also charged up charge for pickles and sweet peppers $.75. Told him he's stealing from me should I just call the cops, he said go ahead. Then I said I want to talk to the owner, he said then go to the graveyard he died in February. He said did get a receipt? No I didn't and don't want to bother girl there as she was super busy. He was nasty and unprofessional. Don't eat here. Way overpriced. You will think you are getting charged one price only to be charged something way more. Food wasn't great either!! read more

This place is always packed. It's your basic pizzeria but they value customer service. I never ever have to wait longer than 20 mins. Today my wait was like 5 mins over - on a Friday night at 7 pm- and the owner (I think - or one of the head guys) offered me garlic knots and a soda for the wait. My dad and I eat at Pina's Pizza every Saturday night after work. Last night I ordered a cheesesteak with extra meat. My Dad ordered a cheesesteak hoagie with extra meat. The cook brought our food over and the steak was extremely light to the point we thought it was chicken. My Dad's steak did not have lettuce and tomatoes, nor did we have extra meat. I asked the cook if the sandwiches were chicken cheesesteaks and the response was no, I cleaned the grill so I cooked it in a pan. I responded you close at 11:00pm and its a little after 9:00pm, and we want our steaks cooked on the grill and not in a pan. He responded what's the difference. I then said my dad ordered a cheesesteak hoagie and the cook shrugged his shoulders then says do you want me to bring you lettuce and tomatoes. I was extremely taken back with the lack of customer of service from the cook and this is not the first time our order was incorrect. Another employee was going back and forth with the cook and ended up giving us our money back so my hat off to him because the cheesesteaks tasted horrible. This is unacceptable and the cook needs a class on customer service. Both my dad and I were taken back by the cooks I could care less attitude. The food is normally good but I think its safe to say we had our last meal at Pina's Pizza. read more

I've never seen a by-the-slice variety like they have at Pina's III! The various pies are three deep, everything from NYC worthy plain to pizza with pasta on top: Eggplant parm, two-crust stuffed, buffalo chicken, white, white w/broccoli, broccoli and chicken, meats, and on, and on... It was so good, we decided to get our pizza night pizza here. OK, so the cost was a shocker, 3 large, 1 each plain, buffalo chicken, white broccoli set us back $50+. But these pies were HUGE, just huge. And delicious. My half-Italian hubby is pizza picky, and usually makes his own close to perfect pizzas for us. He loved Pina's - thin, crispy crust, great cheese and generous toppings. And NOT greasy! You know how you have to blot some 'za, or hold it up to let the grease ruuuuuun off before you can eat it? Not these pies, or any slice I've had before. They threw in a bag of garlic knots, too. Only drawback was the owner/boss was berating some poor employee. I get it - she did wrong, you needed to make sure it didn't happen again. But he started it when I ordered the pies, was STILL doing it when I picked up the pies, and more still when she was trying to ring up my pies. It was obvious it was the one issue, the same issue from pickup to check out. Once was understandable. Listening to it for the upteenth time while my order was sitting there waiting, and waiting and waiting because she was trying to check out several waiting customers and listen to her boss? So. Bad. Got takeout, a pizza, some wings, and 2 salads. Grilled chicken ceaser salad was lettuce and fake chicken. No cheese. Nothing else. The kind of chicken you pick up in the frozen food section of the grocery store. Salty and fake tasting. Definitely NOT a fresh grilled piece of chicken. Both salads came with one PACKET of Ken's salad dressing. Like the same packets you can get at wawa for free. Wtf? You can't even make a ceaser dressing? Margherita pizza was bread mozzarella and sliced tomato, no flavor whatsoever. Our order was upwards of $50. This is doylestown. I've had better for $15 at a dive bar and I am not picky. Second we order a pie from specialty menu and it was an absolute mess and a waste of 25$. Eggplant slices larger than the slice itself and not skinned.
