Good pizza, but don't order anything with grilled chicken... it is so chewy and definitely ruined my wrap.

Better than Dominick's down the road. Crust crispy, not a glutton bomb of rubber. Ordered pepperoni and mushroom pizza.

Wanted the check in promo but didn't get it. Staff hardly spoke English. Order wasn't correct but wasn't terrible.

Alright, let's bring this one all down the line to the current:…read more I'm going to let the music do the talking. For every visit where I've checked in here over the past five years, I've probably forgot to on a 1:1 ratio. I'm somewhere in the ballpark of 40 check ins here, which should give you an idea as to how we feel about DAT. Not a whole lot we haven't seen here over that time. Masks, menu changes, trivia night, music trivia night, brunch, lunch, etc. There are three keys that run throughout. 1. Hands on owner. Nate is very present in some capacity almost every time we're here. Nothing he won't do from seating, bussing, food running to turning the Yankees on a nearby TV for a fellow fan :) 2. The randomness of the music being played. Anything from 60's to 90's rock, occasional R&B, maybe some disco or my favorite from last Wednesday at lunch, Yacht Rock. Nothing goes down smoother than hard cider with grilled cheese and goulash and a side of the Admiral himself, Michael McDonald. Fantastic vibe and hang here every time. 3. The consistency of the menu. The short rib goulash and any of the soup renderings are fantastic. Past that, house made tots, wings, burgers, crab cakes, beef on Weck, links, perogies. It's all so damn good, even though I think the secret weapon is the seafood. Anything done here with crab, shrimp or the seasonal scallop specials are guaranteed winners. I guess to keep 'em honest, if there's one small ding I could bring up it's the pricing. Admittedly, some of the menu offerings are on the higher end of the spectrum but then again, the quality is there and so is the consistency. You get what you pay for. It's a 40-45 minute each way hike to come here and as long as they keep doing what they've been doing here since the beginning, in the immortal words of the prophet Randy Newman: "We're gonna ride it till we just can't ride it no more."

They also came with corn salad which was flavorless. My husband got the fish & chips which was overcooked and dry. The disco fries did not have curds - just a big lump of hard cheese. Disappointing at best.

On Route 611 in Ottsville, PA, this suds house has been pulling draft beer handles for a long time, with variety enough to keep most beer aficionados quite content. And, if those kegs aren't sufficient, the long wall of available takeout brews is yet another plentiful option. You really can't go wrong. Walking in people were standing all around the barroom, while NASCAR blared from the two high up HDTVs. I took the stool near the end of the long bar, and was immediately greeted by the owner, who worked the entire room with assistance from a long white haired dude who seemed to know everything about the joint (He might be an owner, too). He recommended their roast pork sandwich, as he tapped the white board where it was described. I was more in the mood for a burger, and had heard that their onion soup was worth the price of admission. He grinned and said the Bistro Burger was his creation and I would love it, too. Okay then. Let's do a cup of the Onion Soup and a medium grilled Bistro Burger (aioli mayo, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato and cheese). Apple Crisp Cider for the washdown. The house hummed as I waited for the grub. People clearly knew each other, and treated the tavern as their clubhouse. It was fun just to watch and listen. Good people all around. And, the soup and burger were on the high end of bar cuisine. The Onion Soup was covered with melted Gruyère; underneath was a still hot and steaming savory beef broth with soft onions and chunks of dark bread. Had to let each spoonful cool a minute before putting mouthward. Very good! The Bistro Baby was a half pounder on a large bun, loaded up with all the fixings mentioned above, with the right amount of heat from the 'penos, and at the exact medium pink finish. Had to press it all down to fit in mi boca. Sure glad they handed me a bunch of napkins, because it was a bit messy consumption. Excellent burger! Need 3 napkins to get through. The thirty minute drive from Central to Northern Bucks to reach Tohickon Tavern was well worth the time and energy. I'm not quite a local, but would be honored to be considered so, this place was such a blast.

I saw positive reviews about this local spot, and I always do enjoy a local spot. The bartender was running the show, and he was fantastic (I wish I got his name). My kids split the mac & cheese bites and pierogies for an appetizer, and they ate it all. I started with a cup of French onion soup, and it was great. I heard from Yelpers that this place has great burgers, so we all ordered one, and we enjoyed it. Definitely a great spot!
