I disclosed that there was algae presence (from Hurricane Beryl) and that I just needed the pool vacuumed. I was offered algae service, and I declined. I said I would go in-store to make my payment immediately after it was completed. When I came into the store (right after service was completed) I gathered a bunch of items to add to my service charge (a pool vacuum, a pool stick, putty, two additional parts for my filter cartridge), but I was met with a short lady with an BAD ATTITUDE and a straight bob-cut. She yelled A-C-R-O-S-S the room "THISSS ONE is YOURRRSSSS!" With this look on HER face like "you're disgusting" while rolling her eyes as I was explaining the circumstances of my services. She then walked away & went to the back of the room whispering sweet-nothings to her colleagues WHILE I was being assisted by Nicholas. Don't waste your time here. Even when Nicholas was helping me she decided to come BACK to the front and cross her arms standing beside me then raised her voice saying, "Let me tell you how we do this here!!! We charge for regular vacuuming and chemicals." Yes, I'm aware, but I didn't need chemicals and all I wanted was a vacuum. "GPS shows car turned off at 1:11pm" Yes, but service didn't start UNTIL AFTER Eric made a phone call to the office & verified with me (I had to use google translate) that all I needed was vacuuming. Point blank: Nicholas adjusted my amount due to $50 as we agreed on the phone. Invoice now sent via email. So before I left this lady said with a smirk on her face "issss everythingggg okaayyyy nowww??" I said, "No." She INSISTED on getting louder and cutting me off as I was simply asking this "bad-attitude Bob-cut Lady" to talk to me AND the other staff like we are human because she IS NOT better than any of us. Everyone deserves to be treated with common decency and respect... Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa on SPRING CYPRESS is NOT the place to get either. Keep moving along....

I cannot tell you how many times I have come in and not only do they associate me by name but they ask about my family, my animals and my job! it is a safe haven to sit down and talk while receiving excellent service. 2. I have a swim spa. many years ago, I walked into their store - clueless - about how to take care of my swim spa. Greg came by my HOUSE on numerous occasions to see the situation, look at the reading and figure out how to have an excelllebt swim spa. My pool looks amazing and I have never had any issue with clarity, sanitary issues and they even address other issues that even Swim Spas couldn't help me with. They have ALWAYS gone above and beyond - even if it has nothing to do with the regular issues they always address. 3. Old school customer service. You can't find this anywhere else. They will help you and work with you to attain your pool goals and under your price budget. 4. Respect: Many of the complaints I have seen is due to the lack of respect regarding parking with Hero's Martial Arts. There is into a few spots to park in and they work closely to ensure that their customers have the parking needed to quickly and efficiently get in and out with no hassle. I tried appreciate this because many times I am in a rush and leave my car running. It is nice to know they nicely cut quickly and effectively ask those who are not a part of the store to please respect the boundaries established by the management teams and to park in the designated areas for all the establishments on this located in this parking center. It is nice to know that during the busiest times, Saturdays. That I always have a place to park because they enforce the rules. I know people aren't always pleased. But I know that NONE of the true patrons are the ones complaining. And the true patrons are the ones whise reviews are the truest to the excellent customer service received. 5. Grace. Grace is one of the highest compliments I can give this family owned business. Once a person is a customer - they are treated as family. They have shown me grace and understanding more times than I can count. And that is missing in today's day and age. So, my friends, I implore you to go in say hello and see for yourself. I write this review only because I know they true foundation for what they stand for the service given and I will say that the negative reviews are not needed. Decide for yourself and go into their store and see what makes them stand out and stand above all the rest of the pools store in town!

Our pool was left on drain and we lost over a ft of water and we were blamed for our equipment being wrong. His guys moved items of our personal property and didn't put them back upon completion and they got destroyed... We were blamed. Pool wasn't being fully cleaned, entire sections untouched, and when I tried asking for more thoroughness, we were blamed for failing to maintain equipment and called names and had our service cancelled. We cleaned the filters when recommended, we replaced parts as recommended, but try to get clarity on why you'd need to spend hundreds or thousand on parts that just passed their inspection recently and suddenly you're a problem. Aaron was so disproportionately aggressive and is not open to conversation. He wants absolute obedience to anything he wants you to buy, no questions asked, or he attacks your character. There are reviews elsewhere where he doxxed a client for having complaints, viciously verbally attacks customers who complained, and always says he has 30,000 clients with no complaints to everyone who complains... With less than 300 reviews total and places where ratings are as low as 3.9 stars. Not worth the trouble if you're just going to have to find someone else in 3 months when you inevitably face his childish and crazy behavior at the first issue.

He installed a new filter pump to the tune of three grand that he sold us on as being really great. I wanted to get a cheap single speed and throw it on, but he claimed the variable speed would be really ever efficient and we would see a huge savings in energy and it would last us at least 6 or 7 years. Less than two years in and the thing is leaking oil from the motor/gears. His phone is disconnected and doesn't respond to emails, no one's heard from him. Not really the "great stand up guy" my friend told me he was if you ask me. A responsible independent business owner such as him would have at a minimum let his customers know he was retiring, left a good referral business for his long time customers to turn to, and at least fielded emails from his former clientele when they had serious issues or concerns about work or equipment he installed!!

Call for details. Expires 5/26/25" I called for details and asked specifically what the price would be AFTER the promotion ends. I was told that nothing would change, that's the price moving forward, forever! It was too good to be true, my husband and I thought. The guy shows up to clean our pool and we ask him the same thing. In our minds there must be a catch. But he too said, nope, that's the price, it will not change. The first payment posted and it was $108 so I called them and they stated they charge monthly. Phew! Ok so far so good!!! Next month the payment was $204!! So again, I called and asked what the extra charge was. The lady stated that the $25 a week was a promotion that only lasts the first month. I told her that we had been lied to twice, and she apologized and said well it states that the price will increase on the invoice. Sure enough the invoice stated it would increase after the first month. However, the person I talked to on the phone originally and the guy who showed up at my pool blatantly lied to my face. Just sad. Very bad business. It's wrong to lie and deceive people. It's just not nice. I hope that this stops because I'm sure the people working for you would like to work for honest people. The work however, was good, but I can find cheaper service elsewhere.
