It took me this long to post a review because I consider reviews important and allowed me time to really see the quality and service they actually provide during the time. All I have to say about this please is great things, every time I come in I am welcomed with a hello. But what most important to me is building a professional relationship and really great Customer service as well of course of having my pool maintained properly. Jean is one of those reasons why I continue my service with this company. He has consistently provided me with feed back and if her cannot figure out any issue with my pool he finds that information with Altamash and ALWAYS get it done fast and right!!! Extremely disappointed after returning from vacation to the attached photos of my pool. I made contact with my pool service at pinch a penny and was assured that they would be out the next day to assess and treat. After not showing, I called two days later and discontinued my service. There was zero concern or question as to why I was no longer interested in their service or what they could do to keep me as a customer. SO, I'm stuck with an 100K algae ridden pool, a company that contractually agreed to maintain my pool, completely destroyed it, and told me to have a nice day after I dismissed them. Al, in particular has provided stellar service for any/all equipment updates and repairs as needed. He's always going the extra mile, ensuring complete 'pool-owner' satisfaction. Small fixes, they got you covered! Great record keeping, making sure that warranties, if needed, are fulfilled without hesitation. I've been frequenting their store for the last 8 years. I bought a vacuum pool cleaner with a rebate from the manufacturer and the store, they gave me a card to use in the store and every time that I go The card it didn't work, at the end the card expire and I couldn't use the credit. They are common thieves. read more

We are regulars here. Ha. If you have a pool, you know what I'm talking about. They give you a sample bottle to bring in a sample of your pool water to test for free. Everything you need to upkeep your pool, you can find here. Every staff member here as been so friendly and helpful. If I have issues with our pool, I let them know what's going on and they help me find what I need to resolve the issue. Done and done. Nelson and Logan are usually my go to guys here but like I mentioned before, everyone is good here. read more

I had a stubborn stain in my pool. The builder told me copper had caused that. I treated it for copper, but the stain only got larger. I went to the store and asked if someone would come to my home to see if they could help me remove the stain. Al (the general manager) came out to the house and treated the pool with various chemicals. The stain is now 99% gone. I am thrilled he took the time to help me with this problem. I have been frequenting this location for years getting supplies and service. Our pool needed repairs and we wanted to remodel our patio deck. After soliciting multiple quotes from multiple vendors, we gave the contract to Clint. Best decision we made. Our pool/spa needed cracks repaired, resurfacing and re-piping. Our patio was sinking and needed repairs. we wanted to add a retaining wall behind the spa. Clint was very engaged in helping us pick the right materials and design. Last year I went to pinch and penny for some chlorine, and I asked one of the employees for an estimate to resurface my pool . He told me to call for an appointment. However I didn't call because I was too busy working. Make a long story short my daughter hired someone else to do the pool. when the pool was done no one tells me what to do. Then I went to pinch and penny with tears in my eyes because it was too much. Guys ! Let me tell you I couldn't believe what happened next Mr. Al one of the associates came to me and said I don't want you to cry I am going to take care of your pool at no charge . Trust me ! Jimmy's and staff dis an excellent job resurfacing our pool! The price was very competitive, they were on time (early actually) and worked the entire time they were here (and it was hot!). First off, just want to say if you are going to a Pinch A Penny pool store in the Weston/Pines area this is the location to go to. The owner is usually there and their service is excellent. I purchased a Hayward Ultra Pool Vac in the Summer of 2017. It stopped moving recently. I tried all fixes I could think of (dirty filter, pressure, etc) and nothing worked. So today I stopped in with it figuring I'd drop it off and pick it up in a few days when fixed. The owner took it apart and in less than 10 minutes replaced the A frame and it's working like new. Only cost a little over $50 to fix. That's great service. I highly recommend this place. I live in Weston where we have a Pinch A Penny store 5 minutes away. I wont go to the Weston store. Wen tg there years ago and really dont like the service there. I prefer the great service I get at the Pines store. read more
