It seems that most customers just post their bad experiences. Don't misunderstand me. There are a lot of bad pool builders in Florida. I interviewed who I believed to be the best 4 Builders. I decided on Tampa Bay because of word of mouth recommendations and JC, their sales consultant. We put JC thru the ringer having him design and re-design our pool a dozen or more times. Each time having to adjust the cost. He was very patient with us until we were happy with the design and cost. Tampa Bay builds over 300 pools a year. That means several are under construction each day. Building a pool is a two month messy process. Each step is done by a specific team of contractors. that due just that step every day. All the work is supervised by one of several Superintendents. We had Ken, who did a great job. The pool was completed to our satisfaction in 8 weeks. After startup they send a technician to teach us how to maintain the pool. They call it pool school. These techs know their business. We are now in a 3 year warranty phase. A new pool is like anything else, you have to get the "Bugs" out of it at the beginning. The warranty dept has been very accommodating. So far, 6 wks after startup everything working great. Their warranties are some of the best in the business.

We have had difficulty with the Warranty Department since installation. I had them out 5-6 times to fix the auto leveler and auto filler. They always come when I wasn't there and said they could not find an issue. The last time they came I stayed home from work and showed them specifically. Turns out that both were clogged up. Now they are making us jump through hoops just to get the chlorinator repaired and again they don't believe me that its obsolete. When you get your quotes for installation make sure you require that they use the most current and modern components; have them spell it right out in the contract. Still waiting on the warranty department to come out... its been 2 weeks.

It was never addressed and accelerated in April this year, with me constantly complaining it was ALL OVER the pool, email after email, until finally they advised they would address it mid September. I drained the pool some inches and refilled with soft water as they advised and they said they adjusted chemicals. With no communication for 2 weeks, i reached out and they said the calcium raised further and accused me of messing up their treatment (somehow) because I HAD to drain some water out of the pool again after rain and filled it an inch with SOFT water (that has no calcium)...derrrr that lowers calcium and I had no choice regardless, because it's like...Florida. Regardless, they offered no next steps. Maybe in over their head. When I canceled, they sent me a bill for $185 for "calcium remediation". We never discussed this charge; I'd never have agreed to pay for their neglect for over 1.5 years that is what caused the calcium to get everywhere and out of control. They said we discussed this charge "over the phone" -- eye roll. And reiterated that somehow I messed up their treatment that had yet to do anything. Now I'm paying A reputable company to get in the pool and actually hand treat the myriad of calcium spots littering the pool--step 1 that they didn't do. Oh and guess what's next? Probably draining the pool more and filling with soft water. Oh and here's a picture of the filter they "cleaned." The new pool company was like: they haven't cleaned this in ages. They also tested my tap water at 250 calcium and it was at 900 which means...Brighter Pools didn't know what they were doing with pool chemicals.

When I reached out to Integrity Pools regarding this structural/plumbing issue on a pool built so recently, the owner flatly refused to even inspect or assist, citing a fine-print non-transferable warranty clause for subsequent homeowners. While I understand warranty fine print, a primary drain/plumbing line failing in a pool under 7 years old points to an issue that shouldn't happen regardless of who holds the property deed. Extremely disappointed in the lack of support or willingness to stand behind their construction quality.

As first time pool owners, we had a lot of questions. Dan assessed and fixed a small air leak in one of our valves and took time to help us better understand the basics of our pool. Our heat pump needed a complete replacement. Pool-X-Perts was priced competitively and worked with us to integrate our pool automation system as well! It was a great experience, the heat pump went in without problem, and we couldn't be happier! Also offered us breaks on replacement parts because he deals direct with the manufacturers than going retail. He and his wife have just about become part of the family. They are also very pet friendly as well and when they leave they do not leave your pets trapped in a portion of the yard and also do not leave gates open. If they damage property they own up to it and notify you of the problem and offer to fix the issue, they even will leave you a rubber ducky when they come by to let you know they've been there. They also fixed some settling issues around the perimeter of the pool. The crew was excellent and Dominic kept me informed. The longest delay was waiting for the pavers. The only complaint I have is regarding their pool rescreening subcontractor they use. He wasn't very good as the screen often pulled out from the channel. Eventually after a number of visits the issue was fixed. My recommendation is to get someone else for the screening. Anyway, it is now 6 years later and everything is working well. I recommend Apollo pools. My job was a total makeover and they managed every aspect well. I have no complaints and would use them again.
