Such a fun experience for a date night or group bonding event! Went for Valentine's Day and were able to get a quick run down of basics with time to play on the wheel. When we got lost part way, we were still able to get help quickly in a group setting. Getting extra pottery glazed/finished was $10 which was pretty reasonable. You can feel the care/intention behind the studio's ownership and employees. Details to decor, snacks, comfort are all around. Would definitely come back for a fun experience to share with friends or coworkers!

Came here for our anniversary and tried pottery for the first time. We went on a Tuesday so street parking was easy to find. For our class it was just my husband and I for the 5pm class with Anna Marie. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She went step by step with the process. She helped us when we finally got our hands on the clay. It was fun but difficult at first since I was a beginner. Anna Marie was so helpful and she didn't make us feel dumb. She was a great instructor! We had enough time to make three different clay models. I couldn't make a vase but made two matcha bowls & one cup. lol. We had a great time! Messy and fun trying something new. We can't wait to see the final product. It takes about 6 wks. I'm not sure the cost since it was gift but one of your models is included in the class price and each additional is $10. Cool activity to do for date night or with friends.

What a fun and beautiful little ceramics studio! The instructors were very kind and helpful, and explained the process to create our kitchen magnets in detail. We had lots of choices to make adorable designs in clay, and painted them too. I'd love to attend another class, and can't wait to come back!

We took a private pottery making class on 9/1 for our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. Our instructor (Rachel) was fun and she was good about letting you choose your own level of how much help you needed to finish your piece. I found it pretty challenging to raise the sides of the bowl so I asked for a lot more help from my instructor than my husband did. I really appreciate that we weren't in a big class setting because I did require more hand holding. When you book the class, it's a private session regardless of whether it's a fully booked class or just two people for a very reasonable per person lesson fee, and that was my main reason for choosing to go with Pinch over other pottery studios. We got our pottery back this week and it turned out so cute! I love the colors and the glaze on it. It has its flaws, but that's what I love about it. Look at my pictures to see examples of what you can expect to make as a complete novice :) It was a really great experience from start to finish!

    We're getting better, lol.

I've been meaning to add this in since last year unfortunately life happens. With that said, On July 14, my young adults surprised me with a private pottery class. This small business is very quaint. Upon entering Ms. Noelle greeted us with her upbeat professional demeanor and welcomed the four of us into the shop. She was very informative, detailed with instructions, gave us a tour around the business and the interacted with all of us during the class. It was fun. She has a lot of patience and was able to assist me to understand what I was doing and how to do it with the pottery because I needed that, lol. To be honest, I am not coordinated, but her patience was amazing. Although my young adults were able to master what she was teaching us immediately. To watch Ms. Noelle work the pottery with such elegance was nice to observe. She was very encouraging and I appreciate that. Since July, I took another group class with Ms. Noelle the instructor and I totally enjoyed it. I was able to complete the task better. I have also taken a single class with another instructor and the owner Ms. Wyeth, owner. Ms. Wyeth was patient, communicative, professional and shared some of her techniques with the class, this was also helpful. I will be back because I totally enjoyed it. I took another class in October and then again in November. I added a few photos, I'll add more once I take more classes. The first class was a gift from my children, the second and other classes I took were a great value for what you get to do there. The experience for me versus the cost was well worth it. Also, they make you feel comfortable and bring everybody out of their shell so everybody is talking to each other.

My friends and I took a private class back in November for my birthday and Carley was absolutely wonderful during the lesson. We just got our finished pieces back and everything looks amazing and they took great care in packaging everything. The owner was also super understanding with one of my friends canceling last minute and credited us with a pass that can be used later and was super communicative when I messaged her. Absolutely recommend!!

I've done both communal and private lessons. Wonderful instructors and extremely helpful lessons. 10/10 recommend!

Lovely clay studio! We signed up for a private group lesson throwing clay and using the pottery wheel! Rachel is a wonderful instructor, very patient and helpful. The store is very clean. With the lesson, you get to throw three one-pound clay balls and take one piece home. Additional extra piece is $10. It takes about 3 weeks after the glazing and kiln is done. After the kiln process, the clay exposes lovely black specs and looks beautiful! Throwing clay isn't easy. You need strength, pressure, gentleness and a steady hand. I had a lot of fun letting my creative side unleash. I can't wait to see the final piece I made.

Came here with a friend to take a pottery class and it was a learning experience. The instructor was really nice and she carried a conversation with us. Worth it and I can officially show people what I made from pottery.

I love boutique stores but hate when they follow you around/pressure you to buy. A hello, asked if we need anything, and friendly service on the way out. Service 5/5. Simple yet effective. Select is adorable. Some expensive but they do have quite a few reasonably priced items. I originally went for a journal and really love the selection of everything they had. Fun artsy items. Also seemed to carry alot of smaller business (which I love!) If are looking for cute niche items -this is your place. I will be back! :)
