Our second visit here. Casual ambiance. Large crawfish, awesome fried cheese, good sweet tea and good service. A little busy today but the service was quick. I really enjoyed it today. Ordered the boil special and an extra pound of crawfish. Very Tasty. I recommend coming to try it out. Visited the candy store too. Brought back childhood memories with all the different old time candy.

The restaurant is clean and has plenty of random wall decor. We stopped in for lunch on the way hime from a wknd trip... we ordered chicken fried steak, 1/2lb boiled shrimp and onion rings. The onion rings were very good. Crispy, well seasoned and good portion size. The chicken fried steak was served extremely hot and smothered in white gravy. The serving was hefty, actually enough for 2 to enjoy. The boiled shrimp was "ok". Nothing over the top or exceptional. The melted butter tastes like what you get on your popcorn at a movie theater. Don't be in a rush because it takes a good while to get your food. The service is friendly. The ducks, fish & turtles are a nice distraction. 50¢ in the machine to get some pellets to feed them all. Stop in if you want a good helping of food and aren't in any hurry.

Saw a sign on the highway so I looked this up on Yelp. After seeing the good reviews, we decided to come here for lunch. The restaurant is a short drive from the highway. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Plus they have ducks that the kids can feed for 50 cents. Near the duck area there are settings to swing on. The menu has a good amount of variety for both fish lovers and fish haters. We started off with an order of hush puppies. They were very good with a little bit of heat. The kid and I liked them, hubs not so much. He prefers them to be sweet. For lunch I got a salad with blackened tuna on top. You could also get it with chicken or mahi. It was a good salad with a big piece of tuna. The tuna was great! The only thing I would do different is put it in a big bowl. The plate it was served on was too small which made it difficult to eat without losing some of the food off the plate. Hubs got the fish and chips which I tasted and it was very good. The kid got chicken fingers which looked really good. This is a good place to stop for food. I'd definitely recommend it and would eat here again.

I still enjoy this place as I previously posted. It has been the best place I've had fried fish in all of El Campo. And I definitely love any place that offers sweet potato fries.

Oh my gosh, Pinchers was the best seafood I have ever had in my life. The shrimp were HUGE and the fried cod was so thick and fresh. We got the combo platter with coconut shrimp and buffalo shrimp it came with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, sweet chili sauce and a ranch our sides were French fries and fried okra. Everything was cooked to perfection, everyone at the table loved their meal and our server Cameron was very nice. We went on Saturday night in November at around 6 o'clock and had no problem getting a table. (They do say it gets crowded during crawfish season and I will 1000% being going back for it).

This a nice spot off 59 by El Campo. We didn't eat much just fried pickles coleslaw and the hurricane drink (so good). My daughter had the gumbo and she is a picky eater. She said it was good. I don't eat gumbo outside of Louisiana or prepared by Louisianan's for fear of being disappointed, lol. We were a little annoyed with the flies but we will def return!

Highly recommend!! Super cool atmosphere, you can dine inside or outside next to the little lake area. You can even pay 50 cents to feed the fish!! The service was great, really relaxed environment. My husband had the chicken fried steak with a salad and French fries. I had the combo meal with fried shrimp, fried alligator bites, hush puppies, and fried okra. We also had the appetizer of fried calamari. The food was delicious!! And the portions were amazing, definitely TEXAS SIZED! We will definitely be going back to enjoy again!

Good but overpriced. Probably won't be back, but only because there are places that are better. Atmosphere is great!

The catfish tacos were huge and amazing. Big pieces of fish. The taco is not greasy. The slaw is fresh and crunchy and doesn't taste like mayo--which is a win for me! The crawfish two ways was etouffee and fried crawfish. Divine. No notes. Just perfect. The woman who owns this place could not be more genuine and committed to the success of her business through going above and beyond for her customers' satisfaction. This place was recommended to me from some coworkers who happen to be Cajun from Louisiana. I had high expectations and let me tell you now, Bayou Boys met every one of them. First the ambiance. I'm from a small town in west Texas and this place reminds me of the small cozy diners I used to frequent as a kid, where the service was great and the food was even better. When I walked in though, I knew I wasn't in Texas anymore Toto. I was in Lafourche Parish. Not transported by a tornado but by the aroma of some tres bien boudin, poboys and gumbo! The service was excellent. Hannah was very customer oriented and made the whole experience very enjoyable. She answered questions, gave recommendations and knew the menu very well. The food....come on now...the food? C'est bon!!! Let's start off with the fried green tomatoes. Thanks to my mom growing up and a healthy dose of Kathy Bates movies, I grew up eating fried green tomatoes. These were so good. Fried and crispy on the outside but tender and oh so juicy on the inside. Dipped in that blue cheese or ranch, it was going down! If I drove all this way, I'm going to eat! So next up. The Butt Burner Boudin was fire! If you didn't know boudin means delicious and this was some delicious boudin. I back doored the boudin with a boudin ball that was equally delicious. I'm sure somewhere there is a debate about boudin links vs boudin balls and it was hard to decide in this case but I'll leave the ball in your court to decide. The chicken and sausage gumbo was incredible. That dark, chocolate brown roux had a deep, rich flavor. The chicken and sausage was full of flavor and the rice soaked up all that good flavor. Was I done? Oh no bebe! I still had to try them famous poboys! One catfish and one shrimp. The French bread was incredibly soft but with a very light crispy crust. The catfish and shrimp both were amazing. These poboys were stuffed! Lettuce, pickles and tomatoes packed in and overflowing! I put that tartar sauce on the catfish and that poboy was something serious! I thought I was done but I let them talk me into trying that Tarte au la Bouillie. Let's be honest. It didn't take much convincing. I was ready. The translation is burnt milk tart but all I tasted was delight! It's something between a custard and a cheesecake but not like either. It's just good, ya heard! The owner Joel made several stops by the table and talked about the food a bit. I appreciate when the owner or chef stops by and connects with the customer. It shows the passion for great customer service and incredible cuisine. Y'all it took me way too long to make it to Bayou Boys in Needville, TX. Don't be like me...be ready to eat some authentic Cajun cuisine and jump in your car and drive to Needville asap! You won't be disappointed!!!

When I walked up, a couple was outside having their crawfish. It's a grab n geaux as they say online. I ordered 4 lbs and some boudin balls. I was informed it would be about 45 mins since they do Louisiana style, after cooking it requires a 30 min soak. I sat outside while waiting, as soon as I sat at the patio tables, more and more patrons stoped by to order. Within 25 mins, about 20 of us were waiting. They would update us on the time left to pick up. They place the crawfish in styrofoam to-go container and bag them up. The crawfish were on the small-medium end but that is expected given the time of year. The favor was good, the shells were a bit soft and it seemed that it may have been a touch overcooked but for the larger ones, it was just fine. Boudin balls were about baseball sized but very salty. I may return for more crawfish but once the season is fully going.
