Neighborhood staple! Love their pizza, best around in my opinion. Friendly staff and fair prices.

Pretty friendly here to locals and visitors I noticed here, always a plus. So I ordered a slice and two sandwiches to go and I very specific on what wanted omitted and they made both exactly like I wanted and my order was done in almost no time. Both the soprano and the Sinatra has generous portions of the meats, and the fixings, plus for both being basically Italian combo sandwiches in there own right both were amazing. The marghertita slice I would say was bit lacking, I mean definitely could used more fresh mozzarella and the tomato diced more and spread though out slice, plus the pizza crust was bit meh. I WISH I COULD GIVE 6 STARS! We recently moved to pinebush from Long Island and have been struggling to find a place that would compare to our old favorite place- I would have never thought that it would come from a place that is also a deli! We ordered a plain pie last week that my kids devoured and this time we thought we'd try a white pie with sausage... it was amazing. The extra large pie is enough to feed my family of 5 and I still have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The staff is awesome and actually wouldn't even except my tip for the delivery. Went here Sunday morning hoping to grab some fresh bagels and someone recommended this place. I was having my extended family over and made coffee, tea and was planning on bagels. Arrived around 11am for bagels and was told they only had plain. Who even orders plain bagels?!! Bought a dozen bagels anyway because no other bagel places nearby. I was utterly disappointed and disgusted by the taste. They legit tasted like an old, moldy basement smells. I don't know if they store their flour they use in a moldy or wet location or what the reasoning is, but I for sure will NOT be returning for anything else from this place. It was dirty inside and the bagels lacked all appeal. Sad and embarrassed that I had to rely on this place for bagels for a brunch and I had to make excuses as to why they were so terrible. I didn't have an answer. Ended up whipping up crepes and threw the 10 remaining bagels in the trash! I hope a health inspector checks them out because people can get sick from ingesting mold. read more

When this place first opened the service, food and knowing you were getting what you paid for was above reproach. Sadly, the business is slowly going downhill. Perhaps it is because the owner is not there much anymore or the staff just are not trained. I do not know. I do know as a loyal customer from the beginning, I never know anymore what I am going to get when I pick up my food. I ordered a sandwich today & expected the typical deli fare. You know the abundance of meat with the roll barely able to contain it. Instead, I got a roll with an abundance of shredded lettuce & barely any meat at all. So not worth what I paid. This is also not the first time this has happened. Ordered many pizzas & they may or may not be cooked, or how about the cheese not melted on the melts. I could go on, but you get the drift. Best place for hardworking, friendly, prompt service. But, a buttered hard roll and a large coffee cost me $5.35 I get a lot of hard rolls and coffee in many delis and I never spent over $4. Unfortunately, I think they're the highest price in Orange County NY. As I said, super nice people but just too high priced. read more

Moved here a few years ago and haven't been able to find a hero sub as good as the one I grew up with, until now! The ratio of dressing to bread was on point and they even wrapped it properly. We got the soprano, one with sun dried tomatoes and one without- we both really liked the one without. Solid spot, friendly employees and pizza looked good too. Pizza was ok. It was made fresh. Probably would try just pepperoni or cheese next time. These cant really hold too many toppings.

The omelette that I ordered the last time was so good that I had high hopes for the pizza. We ordered an entire pizza and couldn't finish a slice. It tasted like it was made several days ago and warmed up, not made fresh to order. That's definitely not acceptable. I will stick to omelettes from now on. read more

Ordered slices one day, got in the car drive off. Son opened his box to get a slice there was a used glove in the box! Breakfast sandwiches always have egg Shells! Prices are never the same. Everyone charges whatever they want its crazy! I wanted to give them 1 more chance, went in to order a sandwich on a roll not a sub. Normally I was charged $6 something, today it was $9. So I asked why the price changes all the time and the gut got nasty with me! Told me to go elsewhere and get my food. I pointed out the entire time I was there waiting the other guy never put a pair of gloves on and was making sandwiches and grabbing bagels...not once did he wash his hands! Great service and good subs! They also sell soda, fresh coffee, cakes and macaroni and potato salad. We were greeted as we walked in and helped immediately. The guy who helped us was friendly, too. They use Boarhead products, which is a bonus to me. Got the soprano sub. It was good, but next time I will ask for extra oil :) read more

I went in for bagels and tried a plain slice. It was amazing! Crispy crust and the sauce was really good, not sweet and very flavorful. It was honestly the best pizza I've had since moving to Pine Bush!!! Coming from LI I'm so happy they have not only bagels but awesome pizza too!!! read more

Bec on a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel .. absolutely horrible. Service was awful. I called my order in 20 mins before I got there and still waited 15 more mins. I almost didn't even want the food because the person who rang me up had very dirty hands and nails. Will never be back read more

I went today to pick up a quick lunch on my break with a coworker. The service was fast even though there were a few people still waiting. I ordered the number 5 wrap on a whole wheat wrap with chicken, bacon, avocado, lettuce and ranch. I really liked that they had a whole wheat healthier option. Everything in the wrap was so fresh. The grilled chicken was juicy and had a nice char flavor. The bacon was thicker cut with a perfect chewy but slightly crispy texture. The avocado tasted fresh and the lettuce was shredded nicely. There was also the perfect amount of ranch to compliment all the flavors. It was exactly what I was craving. The serving size was filling and they give a hearty amount of chicken. I couldn't have been happier with my experience. This was my first time trying this place and I will definitely be back to try all their selections of breakfast sandwiches and hot or cold lunch sandwiches. If you live in the area or are driving by give this place a try you won't be disappointed. read more

Tried this place out after new owners started operating and added pizza and other goodies to the menu, I have not been disappointed and this is now my go to place for some amazing food! This pizza was so good that I am dreaming about it. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys pizza or sandwiches. They even deliver now too which is rare to find in Pinebush. read more

I highly recommend Pine Bush Deli. I like to get my cold cuts there and I like their bread selection. Very good coffee too in an upbeat atmosphere. I especially like that its a true local business that employs locals. I always know someone there. read more

3 attempts at this convenient yet substandard establishment. Prices are very high. Product is trash and service is very low. Evidently, the proprietor is content to rest on the small town location and lack of competition as an operating standard. Tried to give it shot because as previously stated, it is convenient. Each attempt was met with failure. Prices are insane. Owner makes no bones about it and refers patrons to McDonalds for cheaper prices. Takeout orders were wrong each time. Guys, can we not take an entire chicken cutlet (although it's mostly grease and breadcrumbs) shove it onto a sub roll please? It's called a "cutlet," so, "cut" it into smaller pieces more conducive to a sub or hard roll. Order takers consistently produce incorrect orders. Every. Single. Time. No onions just means no onions, not no onions and no dressing and no everything. Sub means submarine sandwich, to imitate an actual submarine in shape. Sub does not mean hard roll. The price difference is considerable. I'll pay for what I order no problem., even if j don't care for it much. I ordered it, thats on me. I don't want to pay for shit I didn't order I don't think I should need to unwrap and inspect every time prior to departing the deli. It's a deli. People expect to make and order and get what they ordered, then leave. place is also a pig sty. Was nice and clean first time I went when it first opened, couple years later, pig sty. Have it a chance. Love the other local businesses. This one suck. Hate to say it because I wanted it to succeed. But, it is terrible on a regular basis. Will not give them another cent. Not. Nice shop but have a couple of suggestions...I believe $5+tax for a bacon egg and cheese is way too much. I pay $3.50 at Lakes deli. If cost is going up then maybe add free coffee to justify this price... read more

I'm a cheese enthusiast though recently I've been searching the area for the best Reuben sandwich. Not on their menu but I won't hold that against them, but didn't get what was advertised and for that I will. They have a "Brooklyn Sandwich" which was supposed to be hot pastrami, Swiss, and mustard. Considered ordering w/o mustard and adding kraut and Russian to get what I want, but figured I'd try their creation as they intended. The mustard was mustard, no points given or taken. The meat was just fine and I'd say the portion was generous, but at that price-point more like adequate. I was concerned to see the cheese was yellow, bit into it to find the texture mushy, opened the sandwich to see it was flimsy and shiny. Almost positive they put K- singles on in place of Swiss cheese, not just an unsuitable substitution, especially without informing the customer, but that stuff isn't 'cheese' it is 'processed cheese product' and disgusting. read more

This place has lost my business! I'm a local resident and I will never be coming back here, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I called in my order ahead and upon walking in, the lady behind the counter proceeded to tell all the customers in line "We have a special ed kid behind the food station and he's really slow"!
