BEST PIZZA IN ORANGE COUNTY HANDS DOWN! I've been going to this place back when it was Sal's Pizza, which has been like 6 years. This place has been cemented in my childhood for having amazing pizza and huge slices for cheap prices. Their best pizza hands down though, their crazy chicken pizza. Comes with chicken, bacon, ranch, bbq sauce, and their secret crazy sauce. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten this slice that is bigger than my plate and just grinned ear to ear. Their Stromboli's are good too, massive as everything else sold here! If you're looking for a good burger this isn't really the place for it but how can you expect that from a pizza place! Their menu is very extensive for a pizza place and they also cater. I will always love Tosco's pizza forever and ever. If you're a guy however, do not even try to apply for counter help... The food is really hit or miss. I have had a good meatball parm but often the slices of pizza taste like they have been sitting out for way too long. Most of the food I have had was very meh. I really kept going back because it was next to a laundromat I used. The main issue I had was the customer service (or major lack thereof) and the amount of people who smoke right outside the door. In the warmer months, they keep the front door propped open so that smoke wafts right on in. Who wants to smell a ton of smoke while eating? I get that you can't control what other people do, but maybe ask people to walk a few feet away. It doesn't help when the employees join in the smoking The interior could use an update. Maybe they have done so since I was last there. The pizza I had the last time was so greasy you could have fried french fries in it. Gross. One of the delivery drivers smokes like a chimney. I'm sure that's fine for some people but my partner is allergic to smoke. I feel like Tosca's in Pine Bush is owned by the same people but the quality is significantly better. Sal's Pizza has been around for 30+ years. I used to go here frequently growing up as a child in the 1980s and 1990s, but we stopped going because the wait times were terrible (especially for delivery), and because Sal had an attitude and temper. Over the years, I had stopped in occasionally to get a few slices and the restaurant was dumpy and outdated. Until now, I haven't been there in several years. I tried Sal's again at lunchtime while running errands on Christmas Eve. I called ahead to order a meatball parm hero and was told it'd be 15-20 minutes. That's a long time to warm up a sub. Are they making the meatballs from scratch, I wondered? When I arrived exactly 15 minutes later, the food was ready and packaged, waiting for me. The interior of the restaurant has been completely renovated since I was there last and it looks great. A few families were sitting down eating their meals. The 2 employees who were working were friendly and were on point. The meatball parm was one of the best I've ever had, complete with grated cheese sprinkled over top of the parmesan. Staff was very friendly, was at Post Office in same shopping plaza on hot day. Sign in window caught my attention Sub Combo for.less than $6. Sub was ok, my preference is a different type of italian bread, like at Jersey Mikes or Jimmy Johns. Will try pizza next time read more

Best pizza we've had since moving up from the city. Sal greets us in Italian so I get a chance to practice whenever we stop in. Pizza is good and specialty pies are even better. Try the chicken bacon ranch pie it's awesome. The shrimp fra diablo pizza is also very good. Decent sides as well. Have had fries and wings all very good. Delivery always hot and on time. read more

I was not impressed with this pizzeria at all. I came on a weekend around seven and was not very welcomed. When I first walked in, it smelled of fish from next door. The woman at the front counter barely looked at me and when I asked what a specific slice was, she said it looked like chicken and parsley.... Try a smile.... You just don't find that kind of full service place anymore without paying for it - but at Sal's they give you great food and great service because they love what they do and enjoy pleasing their customers. My husband and I love Sal's (Tosco's). We get their chicken bacon ranch pizza there a lot as well as the rolls (steak&cheese and buffalo chicken). Their garlic knots are good but not exactly the style we prefer but definitely still tasty. They make a lot of different specialty pizzas, the pesto chicken is really good. We also like the penne pizza... so tasty. We've had mac and cheese pizza... delicious. Overall rarely do we have a bad meal. The only thing we aren't crazy about is their subs so we get the rolls instead which is kind of like a calzone. read more

Food is very good I order takeout and have it delivered to my house. I especially like their Stromboli and their Sicilian pizza it's very good and very yummy & prices are very reasonable and restaurant is not that faraway from where I live. Once in awhile I order their pizza pies which are very good same with their hot heroes like chicken Parmesan and egg plant Parmesan subs one of my favorite hot subs! I use to really like this place. But the past few times I've ordered the wings have been raw! I mean still bloody. I brought them back and he made a new one, but the wings were still bloody!!! Ordered a Stromboli as well the dough was still raw! At least 35 percent of the dough was raw. Every time I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad, the chicken was dry and burnt. He's made me sick a couple of times. His flavored aren't bad, but the execution and food safety, not so much. read more

This used to be a good pizza place. This last year it has been awful!! Thankfully we found a really good replacement and will never ever order from Sal's again! From under-cooked pizza, having deliveries where they forget things and have to come back, but take 40 minutes, to ordering and going in to pick up 30 minutes later and your wings are ready, but they forgot to make your pizza, so I wait longer for the pizza to be done and they finally hand it to me and say here you go have a great night and walk away. Then I'm yelling to the girl, what about my wings?? Which were then cold, and that's just a few examples of how bad it has gotten. The last straw however was when I was charged $140.46 for a large pizza and 2 garlic knots. When I called, and I was annoyed, no one apologized, nor really cared, they refunded me the money less the large pizza and knots and sent me on my way.
