Great facilities. Good food. Friendly staff. Some members need to improve their conduct and respect for people not like them.

We attended a wedding here on Sunday, our friends and families were very impressed with the 21 hole golf course, building lay outs, the simple yet elegant decor, the banquet & catering service. Nothing was over done, it was perfection. To think the bride and groom would have settled for a simple JP wedding, nonsense. Like every young couple starting out, they haven't built their nest egg. PFCC afforded this young couple a stellar wedding. The bride truly looked like a princess and her groom a proper gentleman. The manager/event planner assured the wedding party was a success! The waitstaff was gracious and anticipated the guest needs. Everyone was treated so well - this will be our new spot for all events in our family for years to come. read more

We attended a wedding here today and this place is something special. Very nice building and entrance perfectly sized for our relatively small party. The catering was excellent- buffet style with several different entrees that could cater to any diet. The service was great too! Such a wonderful staff. They stayed on top of any special requests that weren't in the self serve area. Great bar with a variety of drinks. The decor was simple but very elegant. The best part was the couple was very happy and since they mean so much to us I'm very glad PFCC could make it a special day for them. I would recommend putting this space on your list of considerations if you're looking for somewhere to hold an event. There's golf for members and it does give the place a country club feel besides the event space of course. It's also interesting to watch the members play as the event is taking place. read more

Reading most of the reviews they are around weddings. I'm interested in the golf and the other facilities. I have played two rounds here so far and spent some time in the club house as well. So far I am pleased. I will be attending an event to recruit new members. I will revisit my review after that event. read more

The operations manager Louis, is rude and very condescending, especially towards women. He's very dirty and disorganized, dirty table cloths, scoops ice with ceramic plates, no ice scoops, does not adhere to any sanitary procedures. Not to mention, he's incredibly RACIST. My brother's wedding reception was at Pine Forest Country Club this past weekend, so a review must be made (congrats Kelsie and Chris!). Now, I've been here before for Homecoming pictures in High School but I had never seen this place decked out to the nines for a wedding reception. This venue is gorgeous, and of course very large since this is Texas we are talking about. They did a beautiful job making the night an extravagant affair. The only hiccup was that they didn't have champagne at the beginning of the night which was quickly fixed once I told my grizzly mom. We had paid for champagne in our package, and that's what I wanted to drink at my brother's wedding. We're here to celebrate! Other than that, everything ran smoothly from the cocktail hour to the buffet to the garter toss to the money dance. Don't know what a money dance is? I didn't either before this weekend, so you're fine. Thank you Pine Forest Country Club for making my brother's big day even that more special! read more

Membership is almost full and events are great. Beautiful resort pool, indoor tennis courts, all new locker rooms for both men and women. Food is wonderful, staff is like family. The management hides staff COVID cases like it's nothing. They do not care for safety at all. Still hosting events with 80+ people, management is horrible. I know of 2 in waitstaff and I've played golf as a guest and found out that 3 of the golf staff got it. RIDICULOUS. read more

Our wedding was this past Sunday and it was incredible (both ceremony and reception at PFCC). I wanted to take a moment to give props to Pine Forest Country Club for their great service and attention to detail. The venue coordinator there, Jeanette Arias, was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I sent her many emails throughout the past year of planning and she was always quick to respond and very detailed in her responses. The day of our wedding went so smoothly due to her help and guidance and there were no problems. We designated "go to" people for certain items (e.g., excess alcohol, questions, taking home our gifts/items, etc.) and they were spoken to when needed. Neither my husband and I were bothered with anything. And anything we needed was immediately taken care of with no questions or issues. All of our guests raved about the food. We did a buffet with Chicken Oscar, Pork Loin with Marsala Sauce and Salmon with a creamy lemon sauce. There was a salad, grilled veggie and tomato/mozz display, as well as a beautiful tropical fruit and berry display. We felt like the pricing was very reasonable. We ordered wine by the bottle and a keg of Shiner Bock. Several guests commented on how delicious the wine was, which was excellent because it is whatever their house wine is at PFCC. Water and ice tea flowed throughout the night, the tables were set and cleared perfectly and cake came out on time. When asked for something, the serving staff was right on top of it. We only had one small issue with one of the sides not being what we had ordered and, when raised with Jeanette the day after, the management immediately offered a credit for that side. That was the only negative but we were pleased with the resolution. I would highly recommend PFCC as a venue and am so pleased to be able to give such a glowing recommendation because their hard work and excellent service helped our day go so perfectly. read more

We have been going there since last three years. My kids have tennis lessons from this club. Especially coach Glen is awesome. We are happy with his coaching with some good techniques. Also they are very flexible with timings and missing lessons. They maintain the club very well. read more

As Father of the Bride at Meagan V's wedding, let me recommend PFCC to any prospective bride & groom, and their wedding celebrant. The easy flow between the outside deck for the service and inside for refreshments is a big help after the ceremony for the bridal party. They can come out in different groups as called, and relax in-between welcoming other guests. The ability to change up lighting in the reception area makes the dancing area more inviting. The key to the successful event is their venue planner. read more

My best friend had her wedding here recently, and the "event coordinator" was by far the worst I've ever encountered in my life (and I've been in a lot of weddings). Not only was she completely incompetent, she didn't even care or try to help. The bride said that she was awful while they were working together planning the wedding. So BEWARE BRIDES! It is not worth the stress to host your event here. read more

Pine Forest Country Club is a essentially a beautiful golf course with an elaborate clubhouse run by aging relics left over from a time when Americana Opulence was at it's peak. Though a vast majority of it's members are young business professionals the staff and board tend to fear change with a violent fervor. For a time it looked as though the club was ready for a much needed facelift. The changes were apparent everywhere. A new chef and menu brought a flare to the bland dining options, little tweaks in the facade of the club began popping up everywhere. Updated decor and even plans for a new pool with a lazy river! But alas, it was not meant to be. This month brought a new club manager (who looks and sounds as if he worked in the kitchen or some odd back room at the club) The new menu and chef are gone. The winds of change have died down and all that is left is a huge pit where the new pool was supposed to be. On a positive note, the pool will probably be ready just in time for winter! My advice, play a round of golf here and leave. The services offered to members are boring and outdated. The staff is unfriendly and pushy. The upper management is basically a circus. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. read more
