Our guests loved the food; went for a bbq spread which consisted of sausage hot links, tri tip, and bbq chicken served with sides of mac n cheese, coleslaw, watermelon, and biscuits and our vegetarians had stuffed mushrooms and grilled veggies. Nathan was a thorough caterer, backed by a good team, and we'd highly recommend him for any catering occasion! They cooked everything on site, but it took almost 2 hours to cook and serve. My guests didn't start eating until almost 5pm. I also hired a churro company to serve churros after the food, so their late start caused them to start late too. Suggestion is to check traffic before an event to avoid being late especially if they have a long commute. Also the griddle used to cook food should be bigger to accommodate large parties. The food was good, but I will most likely not hire them again due their lack of punctuality.

Lea was incredibly kind, gracious, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. At one point, we even had to cancel because we were dealing with internet issues at the venue, and she was so understanding. Once we confirmed the event was back on, I reached back out and she made everything seamless. The food was AMAZING. Literally everyone came up to me during the event to say how good it was. People were going back for seconds and asking where the food was from. I decided to use them for an office event I was having, since I loved their food soo much. We had prime rib, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and some dessert tacos. Everything was sooo delicious. I had never had dessert tacos before. This was the hit of the day. We were on a tight budget, and where other companies nickle and dime you, they worked with us and threw in things for free. They even made sure they although we didnt want to pay for full service, they just about gave us full service between letting us use their finest dishes and set up, setting up our room, and coming to pick everything up. The only thing we had to do for ourselves was get our own food. Again, since we didn't pay for full service, this was to be expected. Food dynamite, service dynamite!! read more

I had Pine Haven come out and caterer for our multi-company Christmas Luncheon. The Boss was pleased. Appetizers were a hit, Bacon wrapped shrimp, Tortellini skewers, Caprese salad skewers were gobbled quickly. The Lemon Chicken was moist & flavorful, Tri-tip was tender & juicy, Carne Asada tacos were great. I will definitely use Pine Haven Catering in the future. I'm one of the lucky people who gets to eat Pine Haven Catering's food six or seven times at week - at Upland-Foodthill Kiwanis breakfasts, at Chamber mixers and other events, and unfortunately, too often at funerals. The food is always plentiful, appropriate, delicious, and filled with surprises. You haven't lived until you've eaten one of her potato casseroles. On the other hand, I think I probably could survive if I had a steady supply of her nutbreads and pastry. Anyone in the mood for a fesh strawberry margarita muffin? My office had a Xmas party, and the staff voted for Pine Haven's services. Boy was it a big HIT!!! We had prime rib, mashed potatoes, veggies, and dessert tacos. The food was INCREDIBLE! The staff and customer service was immaculate. It was supposed to be a simple drop off, but they dropped off their good plates and chafing dishes, so we could have a really classy event. This was a LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL meal. Every plate that came out of the kitchen looked like a piece of art. I ordered the Chilaquiles Chorizo Benedict and when I took the first bite, I stopped, looked up, and told my wife, "that's one of the best bites of food I've had in my entire life." It was hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Chef Milo delivers on a level that rivals the best restaurants in LA, Vegas, etc. I'm literally planning to go back every time I go out until I work my way through the enitre menu. This is by far the best cafe in Upland! AH MA ZING! Real ingredients made to order to perfection! I was hesitant to go because of the area but thank goodness my mom dragged me along because it is now one of my favorite places to have breakfast.. Don't be fooled by the area, quiet atmosphere or even a lack of customers ..the staff is wonderful and every bite and minute is worth the money!
