I used to be so very nervous about getting adjusted because I know a handful of friends who had bad experiences from their own chiropractor. That said, today's massage itself was actually great. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed my view of the business. I paid via Zelle and showed confirmation that the payment was processing, including the notification and account details. I also offered to follow up shortly to confirm once it cleared, as I needed to leave to pick up my daughter. Instead, I was repeatedly told to stay and wait. I was then followed outside, and the staff member actually got into my car to prevent me from leaving. I had to physically ask her to get out of my car. Shortly after, the payment went through as expected. I understand wanting to confirm payment, but this situation was handled in a way that felt extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable -- especially toward a long-time customer who was clearly trying to pay. It's disappointing because the massage itself was good, but the overall experience left me shaken and unsure I would feel comfortable returning.
