Alley is equipped with Wooden Lanes. Within the last few years, the scoring system was completely replaced due to a lighting strike. System uses a tablet like interface with large flat panel televisions showing the scores. The lanes have also become much more reliable with these new systems, a plus. With the upgrade, the alley also purchased new Bowling Balls, which were badly needed if you don't bring your own. Overall, it's a nice place to bowl. It's got that mix of new and old. This is a small business running this arcade and it was a great experience. The age range of us are young adults around 18 and older. And the arcade games were fun for us as adults, so you can imagine your child would love it too. Please keep in mind we did not try the following: food, baseball cage, or mini golf area. The games are like a snippet in the past. There are SpongeBob related games which feels like the 90's in the arcade. A lot of the games are ball-based or involve hitting your target. This is a refreshing difference of modern games which are very screen-based. The staff were amazingly friendly! They did a great job with working with us and many parents and kids coming in and out. There were a few ticket machine problems but the situations were rectified quickly. Also the staff gave tips and tricks for which games were most fun to play. It felt like a good amount of time without being rushed. There's a walk up bar inside for the Sinkhole Saloon, which was super convenient. I grabbed a mini pitcher for $14 plus tip. It was definitely busy and a bit crowded, especially with a birthday party on the lanes next to us. Because of that, there were a couple small hiccups... some of the bowling balls we had grabbed ended up getting mixed into another lane's rack, and people from the neighboring party were occasionally using balls we had already picked out. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of when it's packed. That said, the place appeared clean, staff interactions were fine, and overall we had a good time. I don't have a lot of recent bowling experiences to compare pricing, but for a couple hours of entertainment, drinks, and glow bowling, it felt reasonable. Next we wanted a couple of slush puppy drinks. It's says at the register that you have to spend $10 to use credit so ok I asked what the price difference was between a small and large. The guy behind the counter couldn't answer the simple question. So I finally just said give me 2 larges and a popcorn thinking that would get us to $10. I was wrong it came out to $9.95. 5 cents short and he wouldn't ring it up because it wasn't $10. So I finally just said fine give me 2 popcorns to go over the mark. He only fills the drinks and popcorns a third of the way. I didn't feel like dealing with him anymore because it was eating into our overpriced 1 hour of bowling. I ask for a receipt and of course it jammed and no receipt pops out. I tell him I need one. 10 minutes I'm waiting for him to figure it out and unjam the machine. My daughter and I are taking turns bowling and walking back and forth waiting for him to give us the receipt. He never did figure it out by the way.
