The ice cream "bartenders" if thats what you call them are very nice and are working fast! Our ice cream was out in minutes! The fried chicken sandwich bun was soggy (because they but the wet stuff on the bottom), the fries were undercooked and under seasoned and nothing was hot or even warm. 2. The games were awesome! 5 stars. Tokens are cheap, and most games only need 1 token. The building is large enough to accommodate a lot of games without it feeling crowded. Say less. I was READY. Being the responsible planner that I am, I tried to reserve a lane ahead of time online...only to be prompted to pay $70 to reserve one bowling lane. On $2 Tuesday. My brain immediately went, "Ma'am, something is not mathing here." So instead of rage-clicking checkout, I messaged Midway Bowl for clarification. To their credit, they responded quickly and explained that daily specials are first-come, first-served only and can only be redeemed in person. Slightly annoying if you're driving any distance, but, we decided to roll the dice and show up anyway. We walked in and I was fully hyped for Mardi Gras bowling. I had been talking about this for DAYS. And then... Front desk guy: "No clue what you're talking about. Maybe the bar." Me, internally: Sir. The Facebook post. The graphics. The vibes. The expectations. None of this was a fever dream. Because literally, HOURS before I walked in the door, they posted on Facebook: "Today is the day! The lanes themselves are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful in setting them up how you need. We used bumpers and got a ramp to make it easier to push the balls down the lane for kids. I haven't been to a bowling lane in YEARS, so it was cool to see a digital experience that featured headshots worked into the between frame animations. This was a big hit with the kids! The arcade is great for kids as well. There are plenty of small ticket options, enough that we could get a few small trinkets with only $20 spent on games. During the week, we found a few machines at a discount, so they only took one or two credits to play. I was very pleased with the experience overall, and would gladly stop back here if I needed to kill a few hours with some younger children.
