Nice RV spot. It's large enough that you are not crowded together. All the spots are concrete, although they are narrow so that you have grass immediately outside your RV. Let's start with the negatives: Pricey. New premium spots on concrete have almost no shade. Office seldom answers phone seems always to go to answering machine. Cable might as well not exist it's unwatchable. Got some song and dance about boosters on tv needing to be turned off. Wish they did have a booster. Internet a waste of effort. Office opens at 10 closes at 4.(nice for them) Good: Proximity to Callaway and Little white house. Level lots. Clean. Nice showers. Quiet. Easy in and out of pull throughs. read more

Fair parking lot with tight spots and poor internet. Staff is terrible with a bad attitude. Woman who said she was manager just talks non stop and will not listen. They could care less I'd you stay with them and they let you know it. They need new management without an attitude and at least a third grade education. read more

Customer service is horrible. Unexpectedly had to postpone trip to the Fall. Called the front desk last week and this morning and was told we would receive a credit in the form of a gift card to be used for a future booking. Never received the email about the credit so called back and was told a completely different story that we would receive no credit. I do not know how to people at the front desk tell you two different stories within a couple hours of calling. read more

I found the value not to be near the price tag. I spent 150.00 a night and the amenities were severely missing for that price. No soap, shampoo, no towels, shared bathroom, jacuzzi and pool locked and off season, and the aesthetics in the yurt were very missing. The GA pine trees were great... The majority of the the campground is clean, but, where the tent sites are seems like a low priority to the maintenance team, grass and weeds are high, the bridges across the "creek" are almost about to fall into the "creek". And the "creek" is more like drainage that is at a standstill, great breeding ground for bugs and mosquitoes. I don't recommend this to anyone in a tent. Very friendly staff. Sites are nice and spacious. Bathrooms/shower houses are clean. Resort is close to attractions, yet quiet and peaceful.

The facility is nice and clean. The roads have all been freshly paved. In my opinion, the sites are a little too close together and there are few trees to provide shade. Unfortunately, we will not return because there is a rooster on the premises that crows from 5:00am - 8:30am every morning! It's like going on vacation and forgetting to turn off your alarm clock every morning! read more

I had an amazon delivery and went to the office around 4:30 (they close at 4 -who does that) and the lady was in there, I knocked and she came to the door and I asked if I could get my package, she said I don't have time for that now! Campground has definitely gone down hill in the last few years. Gravel sites have little to no gravel, dog run is infested with fleas, hot tub is broken, kiddie pool has hornets nesting right above, Wi-Fi is spotty at best. read more

This area is well-kept and offers many amenities. The restrooms are nice and clean! We stayed in a yurt and it was a great experience! Clean linens, super cold air conditioner, a clean space. "Glamping", indeed! We waited until 9 am to check out, not knowing that we could have put the keys in the drop box outside the main office door and left when we woke up. That would have been beneficial to know. There is a pool and playground for the kids, but not too much else around, so bring board games:-) read more

Nice staff there. The campground is nice, but is merely a HUGE, VAST, open field with very few trees if any. The lots are gravel, and level for the most part. The campers there are friendly, and the place is very clean and safe. Trash service is accomplished several times a day by merely leaving your trash next to your campsite. Large open fields for the dogs to get some exercise. No real big thrills here to be honest. I did not visit the pool, so, I do not know about that. This would be a great place to go with a large group of people where you can all group together, and make your own fun. Finally, the Animal Safari (less than 2 miles from the campground) is a MUST SEE while you are there. Animals are out in the open, and you can drive their car (recommended) or your own car (highly not recommended) through the open fields. This is a must see. read more

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend, 2011 and we have never been back. Mildly put, the place was an unsafe zoo. There was no enforcement in the park on anything, leash laws, noise or the general drunken reveler displays taking place. We witnessed a young lady's little white dog get mauled by another camper's pit bull. Very tragic and sad reminder why there must be pet breed restrictions in place and RVC didn't have any. We used to be regular's here, so were the victims. Most of the office staff was extremely rude when handling the situation, threatened to kick out other parties involved with helping the staff and victims rush their pet to a animal hospital. Contacted RVC's corporate office and was offered nothing other than a promise to change and no apologies. read more

Please beware. Pine Mountain RV Resort will not even consider switching your deposit from the night reserved to another night. The majority of RV resorts have a cutoff for refunds but are normally willing to accommodate the traveler with a switch to another night. Not Pine Mountain Resort. If you are a traveler wanting a night or two traveling through unless you are certain nothing will delay you or you might need to change your travel plans Pine Mountain will not work with you, once you have reserved your site it cannot be switched to another night even if available. I understand a non refundable policy but most RV parks are sensitive to a traveler and will work with them. Pine Mountain will not consider your needs and are not cooperative with you. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights in the month of August and unfortunately it was raining the entire time as Harvey has just gone through Texas and remnants were coming through Georgia. We will come again. Wonderful RV resort! My husband and I were able to stay here through a program called Tents for Troops which is a program that provides accommodations to military members. This campground provided us some much needed R&R outside of our crazy daily life. The sites were clean, level, and big so you didn't feel cramped against your neighbor. There's a great view of the surrounding land that just gives you a sense of calm and relaxation. The pool was one of the nicest campground pools I've been in. There was also a nice covered playground. There were numerous dog parks that allowed our 3 dogs some nice fetch time. The bathrooms were immaculate! Huge tiled showers and large vanities. Overall it was a great experience. The campground is close to all the fun in pine mountain and I would highly recommend it to anyone! read more

There are always many campgrounds and resorts to choose from when you want to get away. However, it is a rare find when you discover a "home away from home" kind of place. That is what Pine Mountain RV Resort is! First, let me say their grounds are meticulous and their amenities are abundant...my favorite was the steam shower! Twice daily trash pick-up was great. More important, though, is the warm welcome and the consistent care they give to their guests. "Their actions clearly say, "You are important to us. We are so glad you are here. What can we do to make your stay memorable?" They changed my site quickly, after hours, to accommodate my need to be closer to the main area because I was on crutches. I know with Covid things are hard with staffing and in general getting things done. Check in was good they left an envelope up front with all the information. The pool is large (there is no slide there was a photo with one in it) there is a main pool a splash pad and a not so hot hot tub so we used it like a kiddy pool. The pool hours are given in 3 areas and all 3 have different times. The sign on the pool gate said 10-8pm. 10am is a bit late especially when you have little people who wake up at 7am. The pool is in need of some general repair and hot tub does not work. But kids had a great time in it. The grounds were kept ok we did request our site be mowed bc the weeds were pretty high. It was immediately mowed. The weeds have almost taken over most of the stone walkways. We did have a lot of black ants on the concrete pad. So we were extra careful with food and trash. Plenty of paved road to ride bikes. Quite park, everyone was well spread out. Good location for a weekend trip, animal safari,little white house and state park all very close. Good quiet place to rest and a very nice pool area. Grounds kept mowed and cleaned up. Is convenient to many area hiking or fun locations! Go see Little White House and Warm Springs Winery plus of course hike FDR State Park trails. Owners of resort really need to put some maintenance money in to some things here though. Never take a spot in the front pine grove! Not maintained in decades; some of roads through it barely passable with foot deep and wide ruts from water runoff. Was afraid I would break an axle on my trailer. The back hundreds number lots are all nice and flat with safe roadways. Dog fenced areas need mowed down. We arrived 2 hours after the office had closed but there was a number on the door and the guy came right out and got us a site to stay on. Would definitely stay here again. read more
