An agent is supposed to represent the buyer when purchasing a property and my agent has done the opposite matter fact he shares private information with the seller that is used against me the buyer. It seems as though there is no loyalty and he doesn't represent the seller as he is supposed to. This is the type of agent you want on your side that resist following the direction their clients want. I will be reporting him & the agency to FREC. I called the agency Saturday to let the broker know and I was instructed that the broker does not work on weekends no matter how catastrophic the emergency is. As a high school teacher this was a REAL problem- also happened during graduation, the car was parked IN MY ASSIGNED SPOT I didn't even get an apology- they said it was the second warning which it wasn't and I proved it to them when I demanded they furnish the 'picture evidence of a written warning.' They realized the tow company made a mistake and allowed me to have $100.00 off a new sticker for my boyfriends car (if I were to use it again.) I had to spend a day going to the impound place to get his car, he had to leave work to get his car, etc, etc... I sold my condo after that! It's a well kept neat place and generally clean but the HOA is cruel and unapologetic. They have a security guard at the pool to make sure the rules are followed. Anyone that has the option of leaving does and it has created a community of renters (and that is exactly what they deserve.)

I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.
