I do NOT recommend MC Granite due to the numerous issues I experienced. Some of the major issues include: our slabs were moved to a location further away from us for no reason. Then after arriving for one of our planned layout meetings, we could not see the slab because it was unavailable. After finally having the layout meeting, one part of the backsplash was installed upside down and another part was cut from a different section without notifying us. The installer came to put it in and it was the wrong colors.the owner came out to see it and all he gave me was excuses. As part of our kitchen remodel, we got to choose new countertops. We had used MC Granite for a smaller project a few years ago, so we headed over there. So glad we did. We sat down with a designer, Denise, and explained our vision for the decor. She listened carefully and brought us one sample to look at - it was the perfect one! (I did look around at other options in the showroom and came back to the perfect one she showed us first!). The process of choosing a new sink and ordering the counters was super easy. Next, they came out and measured. The next week our new counters were installed and look beautiful! The installers were efficient, careful, and worked with care to make sure everything looked perfect. If you need new countertops, I highly recommend MC Granite! read more

So, I am updating my review after several years and working with MC granite again. They have been amazing. Shane responds immediately to emails and believe me, he has gotten many from me. I have visited 12-15 slab galleries and he's had to get me prices daily. It would be so much easier if this process was transparent. But, the distributors at the slab galleries won't give the customer prices, only the fabricators. MC Granite also has an amazing selection in their yard. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough for my kitchen since I have a rather large island and needed so many slabs to complete the island, sink, backsplash, and area countertops. When our house burned down, I failed to see the bright side of the situation. Even when the rebuild started I was stressed by the many decisions to be made. However, when our foreman sent us to MC Granite, I started to get excited. The selection available was beautiful and affordable! Cynthia was our sales rep and she was fun to work with and helped us make the right choices for my family's needs. Not only that, but she had such compassion and consideration for our circumstances. I was super grateful for the support she provided and she helped me navigate avoiding a decision I would have hated by showing us the actual slab of material. We use to refer friends and associates to the Kennesaw location, but now we say, save yourself look elsewhere. They do have a good stock, but when it comes time to buy it is painful, and there is a strong feeling of distrust of the customer by the owner. Horrible and completely unprofessional... Wish -5 Stars was possible!!! 4/8/22 - We are so disappointed by MC Granite Countertops! They outsourced our granite countertops installation job for an entire house with 4 bathrooms, 8 sinks, a large kitchen with a huge island to inexperienced PAINTERS, not countertop installers by trade! Besides the installers admitting being a young company, they also shared how they just started working with MC Granite. The installation job was a nightmare!!! We paid for 4.5 inch backsplash throughout the home; only the kitchen had a 4.5 inch backsplash. The rest of the house was either 4 inches or 3.75. Some backsplashes had gaps at the bottom. They failed to drill the 4th hole for the soap dispenser in the kitchen despite seeing the fixture needing to be installed. The dishwasher was not installed properly which left it protruded and tilted. Additionally, at the joints, the backsplashes were either unleveled in which one side was higher than the other or backsplashes were chipped at the corners. They used caulk to fill in the chipped corners of the backsplash, but it only made it worse because the caulk is heavily applied and the chips are still visible. We wanted a clear caulk, but they used DAP clear that doesn't dry clear. Now, we have white caulk throughout, which doesn't match the granite countertops. Here's the best part, they left all their trash in our backyard: old countertops, water bottles, other debris. The caulk job around the sinks was so messy that we tried to remove some of the globs ourselves. They didn't even bother to clean up the countertops or surrounding areas within the home. Who's going to clean up this mess? Over the years as a real estate investor fixing and flipping other properties, we have never had such a poor granite countertop installation. We paid quite a bit of money only to receive a shoddy job; we are so terribly disappointed. In summary... *We were told that installation would take 3 hours. Instead, it took them 8 hours, and still they were not done. *Trash left in the yard (old countertops, water bottles, other debris). *Messy caulk job at the sinks; no clean-up of the countertops or surrounding areas. Debris was left on the floors throughout the house. *Backsplashes were to be 4.5 inches, received 4 inches or less. *Used DAP clear (not commercial grade), which is not clear. Leaves a milky white color throughout, which doesn't match the granite countertops. *Some backsplashes have chips on the corners, gaps at the bottom, or uneven at the joints. They used caulk to conceal the chips on the corners, but it only made it worse because the caulk is heavily applied and the chips are still visible. *Failed to drill the 4th hole for the soap dispenser in the kitchen despite seeing the fixture needing to be installed. *Installed the dishwasher incorrectly leaving it protruded and tilted. 4/10/22 - Today, we discovered additional chips in the master bath backsplash, plus none of the caulking was completed. We have emailed, text, and left voice messages numerous times. On our 5th attempt, Shawn Smith decided to answer his phone. He didn't even bother to acknowledge the numerous messages. It was not a sense of urgency to have a resolution. We explained the need to have the trash at least removed because of an HOA violation. Instead, we're told that it may be Tuesday, and it was Saturday. Really? Instead, we're told that it may be Tuesday 4/12, and it was left Friday 4/8. Four days of trash in our unfenced yard that's visible to the neighborhood, Really? We had no choice but to haul to the landfill ourselves and to pay the necessary fee. We are disputing charges. The managers of this place have no idea what they are talking about and will give you false promises as they continue to mess up your countertops that cost thousands of dollars. We picked out our countertops we're excited about the beautiful selection and the friendly staff on site. They were very helpful. After you pay it's like they become a different company who could care less about customer service. They messed up our countertops and when trying to reschedule they told us they could guarantee a date and then backed down from that promise and said they couldn't deliver a good product in that time frame.... Denise who we spoke to on the phone has attitude and was immediately defensive and full of excuses which cause us to respond with frustration and anger. Julio, who we apparently spoke to for an hour the previous day told us a bunch of stuff and actually got us to a spot we felt comfortable. Apparently he went out sick and is too sick to respond or update any other manager or member of their staff about what he guaranteed us. This was extremely frustrating as it was an obvious waste of our time to try to find a solution if no one would even hear about it.... There are plenty of countertop places on that road. If I were in the situation again I would have driven right over to the next spot. Terrible customer service and zero communication is the purpose of the 1 star review. We tried to shop here. They have a pretty large selection of natural stone and granite but the choices seem not well organized. The show room doesn't really give you a sense of what the options actually look like. You really need to walk around outside and see the slabs. It's nice you can do that here. This is a place where you really could get lost in the world of slab. They have granite, marble, quartz, among other types of materials, plus they have sinks. This is one of the largest yards I have ever seen and it is simply amazing. After spending at least an hour outside. I was able to cool off in large air conditioner showroom that showcased actual bath and kitchen setups of how the materials would look on countertops. It was like walking through a museum gallery looking at each space that was also designed with accessories to compliment the rooms. So far a 5 star experience! After visiting several places this was next on my list. We are remodeling our kitchen and looking for quartz countertops. Nona was amazing. She greeted us right as we walked in the door. I explained what I was looking for and she was detailed as to my options. I decided on a beautiful quartz after viewing both showrooms and the yard. That same week they came to measure everything. I was impressed with how organized the man was. He was sure to ask me questions in regards to how big did I want the island to overhang and how I wanted the corners on the island. In two days my counters will be installed and I will update my review with pictures. Ask for Nona, she really knows her stuff and will always follow up with a call or email. I love my new counters from MC Granite! I had visited several shops but ended up purchasing from MC Granite. Lorena was amazing! She took her time with us and answered all my questions. She showed me lots of options and helped me narrow down those options to make a final choice. They have a huge selection and we ended up choosing a Sequoia Quartzite. There were options at every price point. I gave Lenore a price that I wanted to stay within and there were many options for me to consider. Overall, I had a great experience with MC Granite. From the first visit to the showroom to installation, they did a first class job. I appreciated that they arrived on time and were efficient with both visits to my home for measurement and installation. Also, there are many granite shops in the Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, and Woodstock area and I only visited a few of them, and MC Granite was the last showroom I visited. I found them through a web search and thought their website was informative and showed what a huge selection they had. I'm glad that I set up the appointment. read more

They were very helpful helping me pick out a quartz countertop and had a very large selection, however my customer service experience after that was very disappointing. First, I found their scheduling process to be very inconvenient. They let you know the dates of install, but don't give you a timeframe until the day prior. I didn't hear from them until after 5 the day before (after I called up there late afternoon to ask about it), and as a working individual this is not adequate time to prepare and caused unnecessary stress. Customers should be given at least a 24 hour notice as a courtesy. Second, I started receiving automatic texts and was alerted that they were having a sale. I called the number to inquire, and asked if it could apply to my purchase since it was only days after I purchased my slab. The original person on the phone said it could be applied and gave me the new total, however a few hours later I was called by someone else and informed it wouldn't apply to my purchase. A minor inconvenience, but something that could easily be avoided. Lastly, and my biggest issue for the low review, is how the company handled a very minor issue after installation. The caulking along the back wall slab and countertop was applied very thin and within a few days cracked after installation. I called to see if they could fix it, and the supervisor said this was due to my home settling and not covered under warranty, but they could fix it for $100. I live within a mile from their location, and this was 100% not caused by our home settling. This is just poor customer service and for this reason alone I would not recommend MC Granite to any friends. read more

NICELY DONE! This place is great. I love that they have two showrooms. As you pull into the property, you will notice two buildings: the one on the right is the office and showroom for the granite/quartz/quartzite samples which were hanging and resembled a clothes closet. They were very accessible, very neat and totally unexpected. I loved it! The stones are displayed on the perimeter of the room while the desks/ staff are located at the center and readily available to answer your questions. The building on the left is an actual showroom where you see the products displayed in kitchen settings. They have a table that displays a piece of stone that is sectioned into honed, leathered and polished areas. Awesome! I love visuals and I could rub leathered granite all day long. It just feels so good and has the most satisfying texture. That stuff is truly intoxicating!! Back to reality: They have a slab yard that is organized and easily accessed. They staff was very helpful and this was a nice experience. You will definitely want to make an appointment if you are visiting on a Saturday as they were very busy. Appointments are not required otherwise. ***I just wished their website was more detailed and descriptive of the services they provide. They don't specifically say what they do and that is important because some suppliers are just suppliers and some supply and fabricate the stone. This helps to minimize extra steps and additional costs. Also, there are some suppliers who also sell cabinets and anytime you can minimize extra steps for the client, that is a win! I definitely recommend that you check them out. They have locations in Kennesaw and Blue Ridge. read more

It is what it is. I read the 3 star reviews of this place but the wide selection of the rocks lured me in. Over all, it was a little stressful from their lack of ownership on delivering / implementing my counter. Treat it as a transaction place not experiential. +. Ambiance is friendly sales staff in a nice kitchen and vanity showroom. Attached FAB shop and a stone yard outside. ++. Selection of granites, quartz and marbles are big and most popular options are available. +. Prices are in line with the local area. Currently (2018) many Fabricators seem to be concentrated in Kennesaw and Marrietta. - Service was mixed. I had 3 sales people help me and they were all friendly but none owned my project / counter installation. Everything was fine until the day of the expected installation (Friday). They dropped the ball and I got a surprise by calling their office and found out my counter wasn't coming until the next business day (Monday). Their sales manager was going to call the assigned sales person ( who was off) and get back to me. Not so much. I called again and I had to explain the situation all over again to another sales person who helped me before. She spoke with the sales manager and then called me back and advised me that they could install the next day (Saturday). This was a huge relief as I have other trades dependent / scheduled to finish my basement reconstruction. Saturday, their 3 installers arrived and put the counter and my sink in carefully. One other problem was that their FAB shop cut the granite (sink hole) in the wrong direction (back of the counter is now the front). It's very disappointing since it's permanently set after multiple trips and calls of planning. It's not horrible but I'll always know and see the spot I didn't want to see. =. Parking is tight with only a handful of spots in the front. Bottom line, what you hear and communicate with MC sales people do NOT get passed on to the fabrication shop and installers. What they care about is your $ rather than getting you as a long term customer. I had a really bad experience and cancelled my order. I ordered 2 countertops for 2 islands in my kitchen. Paid the down payment over the phone and was given a date for my measurement. Nobody showed up, no calls, nothing. Called them the next morning...they apologized profusely, many excuses, blah blah. Made another appt for the next day....I was told they would be there promptly at 8:30 AM....again, nobody showed up, no call, nothing. I called them at 12:30 PM that day.....more excuses, apologies, blah blah. I cancelled my order. The GM was very polite and assured me my refund would be processed immediately. Do NOT purchase from this establishment. If I could give this place negative 5 Stars, I would. They tried to rip us off. We ordered Cambria Bentley WITHOUT any seams. What they delivered to us was complete trash. They piecemealed two different countertops together and tried to pass it off. Luckily, we had the original photos from what they stated that countertops would look like. My husband told the representative, Denise that we asked for countertops without any seams. She initially lied and stated that she was never told that until we were able to prove to her that she charged us more for the countertops without seams. She later back peddled and tried to offer us a discount. My husband told her that we didn't want a discount, we wanted what we paid for. We wouldn't have agreed to pay more if we needed a discount. She finally admitted that our original countertops were broken during fabrication. They were going to try to pass off this piecemealed countertop if we would have accepted it. We immediately told her that she needed to remove the countertop. They actually put two different countertops together and tried to pass it off. The veins were supposed to run through the countertops all the way to the end of the countertops. The veins stop abruptly where the seam starts and that is where they just grabbed some random white countertop and glued it with the original countertop. It looks horrible! In addition, we paid them to haul off our old granite that was demo'd. They only haulded off a portion of the granite and left the remaining portions in our home. Lastly, their installer decided that he could not hold him waste and decided to have a bowel movement in our home. Completely unprofessional and disgusting. This company is trash and completely unprofessional. Think twice before ordering from them. Think three times before trusting Denise, she is the ultimate Scam Artist. We are currently disputing the charges and have forwarded all text messages where Denise has admitted to putting in the wrong countertops AFTER THE FACT. MC GRANITE damaged our quartzite during installation, cut quartzite too short during fabrication, and didn't measure correctly at pre-home measure before installation. Owner, Lombera guaranteed that his company, MC GRANITE would replace all our quartzite for free due to his installers damaging our quartzite, quartzite cut too short, and incorrectly measuring for placement again a wall. Installation was June 2022 and now it OCT 2022 and we've been without a functional kitchen for 5 months. We paid in full. MC GRANITE has our money but refuses to honor their word to replace all our quartzite. Has MC GRANITE owner, Lombera gone rogue?
