New playground is a lawsuit waiting to happen. No stairs to slide. The only way to get to the slide is literally climbing the rock wall or scaling rope bridge. My toddler is advanced and can do playgrounds no problem but thing thing is literally for kids 7 and up. Even then it's so dangerous because there's way too many ways to fall off the play set. They do have a "toddler area" which is a small wood playhouse and wood/rope climbing area. And even that I wouldn't let my little one near because it's too easy for her to fall onto wood logs edge and get cut. Just very poor bad "modern" design. We only go cause it's walking distance and even then it's work because I'm constantly watching my daughter to make sure she doesn't fall off. Nothing enclosed at all. Truly dislike this playground for kids under 7. We've gone 7+ times and I never see kids climb to top of this playground or anything. Such a waste. Would rather make the drive to Heritage or Tustin Sports Park or literally any other park. read more

This was a cool little park we visited on Thursday morning. Parking is round the outside, on the main street, so it's quite busy. I didn't like that. Once you walk over the play area you can see that they have some really awesome and different play equipment. I liked that. There was some rubbish in various areas of the park. The older kids area is shaded, but unfortunately come 10am the little play area with the yellow and blue structure is right in the sun. There's also an area for very young kids and that was shaded. There are no swings. It's a little out of my way to come here, so I won't be back in a hurry. There are toilets. read more

This park is alright. This isn't the cleanest park around but it isn't completely filthy. There is a small playground for children and picnic tables scattered around. There is a lot of grassy, spacious areas and many people bring their dogs around. There are two Pokestops and one gym. I came here as part of a walk I was on but I probably wouldn't go out of my way just to visit. Old Towne Tustin is nearby and there are plenty of nicer parks around there. read more

Really clean open park never to crowded and it has a lot of shade. My parents use to bring me and my siblings here as kids now I bring my kids and they love it. My friend did her kids party here and it was great we really enjoyed it the playground is right next to the sitting area so the kids weren't far from us the restrooms are not far so it was super easy to keep an eye on all the kids it was great. One thing I wish they did change is the wood chips they are annoying specially if they go inside your shoe. read more

Pine Tree Park - Parks Near Me - Tustin, California

Came here one morning walking around the area. It's a really cute park with a little field and a decent playground for kids. There's a large covered area for a party. There's clean bathrooms which I've noticed is a big thing here in the area. Thank goodness! The only thing is that there can be a lot of homeless living here or spending the night. So I do worry about that with children. They're always nice but I'm a paranoid mother at times. Like I said, it's a nice park but I enjoy Heritage more. There's more things for toddlers to do. This park has some "extreme" climbing thongs for the older kids. There's also a volleyball area which is great. I see a lot of people here in the evenings working out or having a party. read more

Had my daughter's birthday party here and it was a great location. Maybe since it was cold nobody was at the park. We didn't have to worry about other people using the amenities. My kids love the playground and volleyball court here. Make sure if you plan to have a party here, go to City Hall and obtain a permit. It was very inexpensive but one thing I didn't know that you should know is that the park has a list of approved Jumper vendors, which are pricey. But if you need a jumper then expect to pay $100-150 for a jumper. Also no food vendors allowed, just in case you want to get a caterer. Other than that it was a good park and clean. read more

This is everything a park should be! Playground equipment for children of varying ages. Volleyball court, picnic tables, benches, trees, shade, and big open spaces of grass. Not exclusively a dog park, but very pet friendly. The ONLY downside is the poor bathroom upkeep. But what can you expect from a public park that gets A LOT of traffic? Still a great park! read more

Very cool playground equipment, not the usual play structure with a ladder & a couple slides. They had things for the kids to play on that I have never seen at any other parks in orange county! My under 5 year olds had fun playing on most of the stuff, but I saw older kids (pre-teens) able to do everything there to a greater extent than my kids. My kids enjoyed the "spinning ring" & while they couldn't really ride on the "mini skate ramp" by themselves they could push it around & they liked having me hold them on it. No swings at this park if that is important for you. And despite what someone else wrote, the park was clean & there were bathrooms open which we did not use so I cannot comment on their cleanliness. This park is on my list of go-to-parks now! read more

This place is filthy! The playground toys are great and there are nice trees but the cement is sticky, there's dog poop near the walkways and there is trash everywhere from people not using the trash cans. I worry my kids will cut themselves on broken glass or bottle caps mixed into the wood chips. read more
