Effectively a perfect evening. Yes, it's ludicrously expensive. No, you won't get a better high end dining experience that is fun and delicious. Everything was outstanding, from the customer service in advance of our night, to everyone we encountered along the way. The two pictures were of "freebies" that came at the end of our meal. A beautiful , low key spot, filled with wonder full people. Can't ask for more.

Exceptional service, spectacular food, and worth every pretty penny for the Michelin-Star place. We've been let down so many times by other Michelin-Star claiming places, but P&P far exceeded our expectations. P&P rotates their menu every 60-90 days and we happened to taste their new one. Our absolute favorite was the pillowy soft gnocchi add-on. This isn't an "every day" eats kind of place, but it's worth it! Thank you!

Service: Superb! One of the best meals and most incredible team I've dined with! They all worked as a team to deliver an magnificent experience. The servers helped picked cocktails based on my taste preference and when served, they explained everything so we knew what we were getting into. If you can get a seat at the Chef's Counter, take it! You will get to interact with the chefs and see the inner workings of the kitchen. Food: Highlights of the Favorites! Onion Tart Tatin - Deep flavor! I would highly suggest this if available! The deep caramelized onions was soft and decadent, while the puff pastry was light and buttery! Shrimp & Scallop Vongole - Tender and Refreshing! Asked around the kitchen and this one among some of the chefs' favorite item to eat. The mince of the shrimp and scallop gave the same smooth texture of the pasta. The broth was very refreshing and light! Cod & Caviar - Must Get! If I could lick the plate clean, I would've. The fish was light and flakey and the caviar cream was dense and delicious! I would come back for this dish over and over again! On to my next adventure...

Okay - this place gets 5 stars because it is truly a memorable experience with some key standout dishes. I've been to quite a few nice tasting menu restaurants and this one does distinguish itself among them. I love that they encourage everyone to dress up and take a picture of you and give you a welcome drink. Obviously come for a special occasion. The menu will change often but the two dishes that stood out were the lobster and tiramisu so hopefully something similar is available! My only complaint is they give you a burger as a gift to take but we were literally traveling the next day and had to give it away. Would much prefer a shelf stable gift like chocolate or granola or crackers - idk something we can enjoy at any time.

What a fun experience. We went with the wine pairing. Worth it! As with all tasting menus there were dishes I loved and dishes I didn't. Overall the food was very good if a bit over salty. However, when the server overheard me say so we were swiftly asked if another dish could be prepared. The servers were amazing! Their excitement over the food was contagious. The sommelier was funny and informative. My son said to the server after dinner "If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong ". That's a great description of our evening. We had so much fun. That second star is coming back. Mark it two, dude. You saw it here first. Drunk on the metro but still writing this up. When we first tried P&P about 8 years ago, we'd been to a handful of Michelin restaurants, and we felt the two stars were well deserved. We went back a year later and panned the place. They were trying to do too much across too many dishes, and it just didn't taste good. Fixed it. Tyler is a beast back there, with the charisma of a Fortune 500 ceo. He's honest and direct with his people, and the kitchen hums with camaraderie. Fired a dude in jest. Love it. The servers seem to like being there. It all just works. And now we've done a hundred stars. We aren't sophisticated tasters or food critics, but to put it bluntly: the food is excellent again. The lobster dish, with its walnut sidecar, is better than Inn at LW's lobster dish. Sorry Patrick. The white asparagus would be fine without its lump of crab, but why not include perfect crab? We couldn't keep up with the silly list of halibut sauce accoutrements, but no matter. The halibut itself was perfect butter incarnate. It's not all perfect. It isn't 3 stars, yet. Our celebration pancakes (10 years!) were more rind than zest. Yikes bitter. The two starter purses aren't as good as their ingredients. One of the zero proof pairings - Chablis by the sea - reminded us of bubble bath. Like... drinking bubble bath. We couldn't fathom that it ever left the bar. And finally - and most importantly - we left a bit hungry. The savory courses are just a bit under portioned, and there's too much sweet at the end in contrast. But... FIVE STARS on here where nobody's looking. That lobster. The pork belly, gnocchi, white asparagus, onion tart. These are flavors that would be revered at Frantzen in Sweden or Bernadin in New York. Keep going.

Let me begin by saying this: if you're celebrating something, this is the place to do it! It's an experience that you'll talk about for ages, and with the take-away cheeseburger, it may last more than that evening! My husband and I came here for the first time for our eleventh wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived and were given a chilled hand towel and welcome cocktail, we were excited for this unique experience. The personal touches of P&P make its star-status clear: before you are seated, they snap a photo of you that you will receive with your take-home menu! It only STARTS there. When you reach your seat, a small -- adorably small -- envelope and letter awaits you, flanked by a famous baby pineapple that graces the table. The servers are lovely and personable, and the entire vibe of the restaurant is a lively party. It's intimate without forcing you to interact with other guests, and the nuanced decorative touches make for fun table talk. The restrooms are beyond luxe, with heated toilet seats, and have Loewe hand soap and lotion. While all those aspects of hospitality are nice, it's the food that's most impressive. Every bite is, without question, unbelievably good. From the beggar's purses -- the restaurant's first "gift" of the evening -- to the luxury nightcap (their final gift for the in-restaurant experience), the meal was to-die-for. We began with a "welcome cocktail" that was an interesting and tasty flavor combination before being seated. Once seated, we were walked through the menus: cocktails, dinner, and (flip it and reverse the menu literally) dessert. I tried the salad course cocktail and would highly recommend it! The top dishes of the evening for my husband and me were: caramelized onion tart (first course), gnocchi and walnut lobster (2nd), and the buttered popcorn soft serve ice cream in the "Luxury Nightcap" gift. All-in-all, this was a fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary.

Dining at Pineapple and Pearls is more than a meal, it's an experience that borders on theatrical. From the moment you walk in, the service is seamless, polished, and genuinely warm. Each course is a carefully choreographed moment of creativity, balance, and unexpected delight. The menu evolves, but the precision and passion behind every dish remain constant. Ingredients are elevated in thoughtful, often playful ways, pushing boundaries without ever losing soul. Pineapple and Pearls reminds you that fine dining can still be fun, surprising, and deeply memorable. And the burger to go was the perfect late night snack!

10/10, 10/10, 10/10! This hands down is one of the most memorable dining experiences I've ever had... a true experience from the moment you walk in the door. We were greeted with a welcome drink which was delicious and had a polaroid picture taken of my boyfriend and I that accompanies our doggy bag for later. The staff was nothing short of amazing-from their selection of wine for the wine pairing and presentation if each course. Our server was fun, interactive and made our experience. The staff works together to make sure that you fully enjoy your dinner. The ambience is exciting and fun. It almost feels like a private, opulent party! There are 4 courses with delectable surprises in between. Each course was a literal gastronomic masterpiece, but may favorite was Marco's gnocchi. What better way to end the evening than with a decadent dessert experience including butter popcorn flavored soft serve that you get to dispense yourself? The last highlight was that doggy bag/take home box I mentioned above that a delicious Wagyu burger I ate for lunch the next day! Thank you P&P for a top tier experience. It definitely made my birthday dinner that much more special!

The ambiance, concept and service were great. Unfortunately, the food was disappointingly average. Food had a lot of complexity in terms of ingredients and presentation, but the execution (taste) fell short. Everything but the drinks and sorbet were served at the wrong temperature: hot dishes were luke warm, cold ones were at room temperature. I don't believe in super sized portions, but the servings were small even for me. The champagne and a red wine I had were outstanding, though. I did love the fun, cozy atmosphere especially on a cold night around the holidays. If the food can taste as good as the descriptions convey and served at the proper temperature, I would go back.

There aren't the right words to describe our experience at P&P. When I think about my favorite dining experiences, this one takes the cake. From the neon lights, velvet, bubbles, music, to the absinthe fountain upon arrival, every detail has been curated with excitement and pleasure in mind. Say goodbye to the "four hour tasting parade to the chef". Say hello to a new kind of experience where pleasure is valued over perfection. ITS TRULY A PARTY. Every night. You just happen to get an amazing meal while you are there. Everything is opulent and there are surprises around every corner like being handcuffed to a chair, buttered popcorn soft serve ice cream, truffle infused amaretto, and a caviar, gummy bear sundae bar. Oh, and just when you think you're done being surprised, wait until you get your parting gift. The most decadent midnight snack to close out this memory of a meal.

    Peiling C.

Definitely a fun dining experience through and through. The staff were all great. The gnocchi was spectacular. Drinks were good. Fun date night but not all that impressed by the food. Maybe my expectations coming in were too high...

Looks like Pineapple just got downgraded to 1 star and honestly I'm not surprised. Came here the day before Thanksgiving as a gift for my cousin and I was shocked at the change. 5 years ago they were a fine dining atmosphere but not it seems like it's more of a "fun" dining. Couple years ago there was no options for the course menu but this time there was 2-3 options for each course. It really didn't seem like there was a lot of food. The drink they offer you at the entrance was one of the worst things I have ever tried. They offered a plate full of cheese bread in the middle of the service which was really good but it looked like they only wanted you to take one which was odd. I think Pineapple need to go back to a regular fine dining establishment and change their menu up and they might get their second star back.

I was waiting to place my order and had to wait for my server to come back around to me. My order was finally taken and my drink showed up. I ordered a side salad and their meatloaf. My go to meal for this establishment. My salad came out pretty promptly as it was a food runner bringing this my way. Your typical pregame salad. Before I had this done, the meatloaf made its appearance. The meatloaf hit. It was exactly how I remembered it. For a late dinner, it definitely sat heavy in my stomach. But I know when I did have my head hit the pillow later I was easily fall asleep. Which, I could have done here with how dark the space I was sat in was. Meal was over, but it took a long time to get my bill and pay it. Once I had that out of the way, I went through the well lit portion of the restaurant to use the facilities before heading back out. Seriously, turn the lights up in that front street facing space.
