This is not the same as the "former" Pineapple Asian. I have tried more than once since new group took over. Tonight had order which included- Chicken Mei Fun with undercooked noodles and with little else in the dish, also had brown rice which was also undercooked...not had a decent meal from here since new ownership. Let's start off with the nasty girl who answered the phone... yea not ok and that alone started the order off bad. Let's talk about the "Large" LoMein that came in one of the smallest "large" container I have gotten from a Chinese spot. The size that the place in the corner usually charges $5.25 for and 7.50 for the large. This $11.50 small plastic bin filled with spongey noodles wasn't worth the price. The crab ragoons were t the worst so I'll stay off them because I do appreciate their effort. The sushi... shoprite tasting and I would not suggest you go there for a good sushi dinner however they deliver so they have that going for them. The sweet potato roll was Soaked in oil and so was the spyder roll. The spicy tuna wasn't terrible. I found a place down the road (the circle ) yea I am saying it and idc the owners were awesome and the amount of food I got for $40.00 was enough to feed 5 adults. I found my new go-to Chinese restaurant! The dish ordered for me was broccoli with some carrots in some sort of sauce. I love Chinese vegetarian dishes even though I'm a canivore. The broccoli and carrots were fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauce was great. A hint of heat in the flavoring. Light and not overwhelming in texture. Perfect white rice. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant for delivery. It's definitely not a place you're going to sit down and gave a meal at but for take-out and delivery they are perfect. The food is great, they give huge portions AND they can do gluten free if you talk to them and tell them no wheat (we've worked with them for a while to get gluten free soy sauce). The delivery time is always short and if they make a mistake (which is rare) they will drive the corrected item back out to you for no charge. They also now do online ordering making it EVEN more convenient. The General's Bean Curd is probably the best vegetarian version of General's Tso Chicken that I've had in a long time and anything in their garlic sauce is fantastic. My family is also a big fan of the Sesame Chicken, Shrimp with Cashew nuts and the dumplings. I'd also recommend getting the pineapple fried rice if you're looking for something a little different and they can always add protein to it, which takes it from being just another side dish to a perfect main entree. read more

We live right next to this place and order from them ALL THE TIME. Very impressive Chinese cuisine as well as Japanese and Thai. The sushi is about as good as you're gonna get in this area and not overpriced like most other places. For delivery, these guys are the best! Not only do they have the classic Chinese dishes, but they deliver sashimi and sushi!!!! They were great and consistent for a long while, then there was a period where every order they delivered was wrong or it took over an hour to get here. They did send free stuff when they messed up, but we stopped ordering from there after that. I just hate that they are closed on Mondays! I ordered two bento boxes, a side salmon sushi, and two egg rolls with a friend and we LOVED it. The bentos are extremely filling; I barely finished mine and gave all of the sides to my friend so I'd say it's a pretty good value. All the sushi was excellent: rice and fish tasted fresh and the sauce on the M16 roll was amazing. As far as portions, there was visually more of the salads than anything else, but after eating I definitely got my fill of sushi (to be fair, I'm a fiend for sushi so I always want more). For the price, the bento boxes are a great value; I'm full and content ^_^ Everything I tasted I loved and the only thing my friend didn't enjoy was the miso soup (I thought it was okay, but not the best miso I've had). They're very generous with sauces as well: our meal came with a bag of sauce packets plus two soy sauce containers to dip our sushi into and plenty of wasabi. We just moved to the area and needed to find a good Chinese place. The wife prefers sushi so we decided to give Pineapple Asian a try as it offered Chinese, Japanese and other types of Asian fare. We were very happy with our order, both the sushi and the Chinese dishes. Everything was tasty and they offer many options most traditional Chinese places don't. I will say this: don't go there to eat. We went just to pick up once and there are two wobbly tables stuck next to the soda case. The one bench for those to wait for pick-ups is torn to shreds. It's essentially a take-out window with a tiny lobby. For a place that does most of its business take-out and delivery, it's not an issue, but the run down front of the shop doesn't exactly make your mouth water. Still, the food is good. read more

Ordered two combination dinners last week. General Tso's chicken and roast pork lo mein. The General Tso's dinner was okay at best, but the roast pork lo mein was dry, stringy and tasteless. The pork strips should have been thrown away days before. Fried rice for both dinners were dry and tasteless as well.
