Was down near this restaurant and my friends recommend it knowing I like sushi and I am about Sushi-ya established restaurants. We arrived at noonish and they had 4 tables occupied and it smelled great in there. Nice large booths so we didn't feel cramped and had plenty of room. We started out with an appetizers of edamame and steamed goyoza. The edamame was as expected lightly salted, & fresh. The goyoza was steamed to perfection, excellent taste nice side sweet sauce added the flavor. See image. The wife had the salmon Alvacado roll and volcano roll. She stated the salmon was a nice deep red, which we would expect for a quality sushi grade, and the avocado was aged perfect, not hard, nice and soft and creamy. Her volcano roll she mentioned it was tasty and fresh, the volcano roll her was presented a bit different then other sushi places as it wasn't deep fried with spicy sea leg on top. It showed as a circular plating with crushed panko and the Kani salad on top. We both felt this was much healthier then a deep fried version and she felt it was tasteful and better. See images The kid had the amazing roll, nice plated presentation, the shrimp he said was not overcooked while deep fried and the breading on them was crispy and the tune inside was a excellent color and was a nice cut size, the pepper tuna on top he stated was fresh and sauce and mango & eel sauce was excellent on the sushi and enhanced the flavors. He had the seafood deluxe raman, first time eating raman and ordered it spicy. He stated all the seafood was cooked excellent, the lobster was cooked and cut into bite size chunks and with the spices of the raman, the shrimp, scallops and lobster picked up those flavors and he said was awsome. The learned how to use the raman spoon and roll the raman on his spoon to a nice roll up, and he said the noodles were so soft and he had allot of noodles, his favorite part was the egg and he stated next time he's getting it again, as it was spicy like he requested and it left a wonderful taste upon him. In addition I also ordered the Angry dragon roll, the shrimp inside again was cooked to crisp perfection and tast, the tuna inside was a nice deep red and a nice cut portion size.it was topped with spicy crabmeat a nice portion of it to add to the savory flavors along with a nice plating of eel sauce & spicy mayo. Our server Inda? Was so polite and attentive while handling the 4 other tables, she was very friendly and we told her its our first time at the restaurant. My review - ID your looking for a nice clean, friendly restaurant, with friendly staff and excellent sushi, the top grade deep red salmon and perfect tuna along with mouth bursting flavor experience, you need to check out Yuzu. I left feeling Hara Hachi Bu, Even though the ride for us was over and hour, we are adding Yzu to our top tier sushi restaurants that are a must no matter the distance the chef is a Itamae and Gochisousama Deshita For an excellent dishes. read more

Bad experience here today...Was here around 2pm on May 27, 2026. I was being helped by the lady at the counter, in the middle of paying for my meal when another lady comes in 2 minutes after I arrived and they instead check her out first. We both paid with cash....very weird... it was the first time they've ever given terrible service. You don't pick favorites....if a customer arrives in the store and is handing you the cash for their meal with THEIR TOTAL screen on your screen, you don't just blow them off for another apparently favorite(?) customer and delete theirbecause they are in a rush. The food paired so well together. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen, the slight spicy kick paired well with the savory Angry Dragon Roll they have. It's a small spot with very relaxing music playing and colorful wall art-work. The servers were very kind and attentive and greeted everyone with a smile. All the food was delicious! We had kani salad (complimentary!) and steamed gyoza to start. The sushi tasted so fresh and presentation was on point. I had a salmon, tuna, and rainbow roll. Finally got around to ordering takeout from this restaurant. The restaurant said it would take approximately 20 mins for my order to be ready, but they were done in 10 mins. The ramen was spicy and delicious. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The egg was marinated with a ton of flavor. I ordered a side of the pork bao buns and I was a little disappointed. The flavor of the pork was good, but there wasn't enough pork filling, for the price. The buns themselves were ok. I've definitely had better. I won't go back for the buns, but will definitely re-order ramen and try other items. When I picked up my food, the service was friendly. Had lunch today at Yuzu Ramen and Sushi with some coworkers. Enjoyed he food. We got a few rolls (Fried Philadelphia roll and Spicy Tuna) and the Sapporo Shouyu Chicken Ramen. Came out pretty quick and the food all had a really nice flavor. The waitress was super polite and was more than happy to get us whatever we needed. It's located right by the Erial Fire Hall and in the same shopping center as Gallery Pizza on Erial Rd. They opened about 6 months ago, and I asked about how business was going... she said it has been really slow, and hopes it will pick up in the winter. Service was great, waitress was kind and quick. Ambiance of this place was that it wasn't packed for a Friday afternoon at 6pm which was great for me. I could see the longer this place is open, word will get out that food is worth stopping by for. Menu is neatly organized into cooked sushi and raw, we went for the cooked section. Fried Philly roll was a 10 out of 10, one of those cases where I ate too much before my main dish came out. Steamed pork bun or boa bun was delicious, I practically inhaled it. I believe I could eat about 10 of those in one sitting. Ramen was perfectly cooked and the right amount of saltiness. Just subtracting one star for some overcooked muscles in the Ramen, not so overcooked we didn't eat them, just overly chewy. Shrimp and egg in the ramen cooked perfect. The egg was surprisingly one of the best I've ever had in a ramen dish, I say surprisingly because in most ramen the egg is an afterthought but this small egg was packed with umami. I am really picky when it comes to Asian food, and from the outside, you wouldn't think Yuzu Ramen & Sushi would offer very much. I am pleasantly surprised I was impressed with this hidden gem. It is located in a small, older strip mall on the end. Upon walking in, you are greeted by the host and there are booths, tables, and sushi counter seating. This place is extremely CLEAN (you can see the kitchen through the food service window). Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us periodically. We received a complimentary kani salad,which is one of the best I have ever had. My husband and I ordered edamame, gyoza, the amazing tuna roll, and angry dragon roll. All were excellent. The fish was very fresh and you can tell the owners took great care in selecting their plates and dishes. They are not the typical white plates. They were a beautiful, heavy stone.
