This is one of those places where I wish there was a half star rating system because it's really a 3.5. Here's the breakdown: PROS: *Good service. Our waitress, Nicole, was attentive and polite. She did a great job. *The location. It's beachfront and has a great beachfront vibe. This place is all about the location. *The frozen drinks. That's why everyone's here for! Let's be honest. :) CONS: *The wait can be LOOONNNNNGGGG. I suggest going at off times like mid afternoon for a late lunch. We tried to go at dinner and the wait was over 2 hrs. *The food is just ok. We went back for a mid-afternoon late lunch. Got seated quickly. But if we had waited two hours for the quality of food we got, I'd have been really disappointed. It's not bad. It's just fried, greasy seafood at a frozen drink shack. We'd go back to get a frozen drink & walk down the beach. But definitely wouldn't make dinner plans based around this place. read more

My wife typically doesn't order ribs but we had gotten a recommendation from some fellow travelers so she thought she'd try them. World famous Pineapple Willie's!! It's crowded, it's loud, it's worth the visit!! Pier beach bar, merch for days, beach motif thru out. I wanted to check this place out since we have been seeing alot of people go there. We were able to get a seat at the bar even with a 45 min wait. I ordered the popcorn shrimp basket. I couldn't substitute the fries. The shrimp tastes like they came out of a bag. A lot of breading. I also ordered the Pineapple Willy. It tastes like juice. Couldn't taste any alcohol at all. My partner had a bbq pork sandwich. It tastes like liquid smoke; no flavor otherwise . Even with good service I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend this place read more

Classic and consistently excellent. Been coming here for over 20 years. Food is excellent. I had the maki basket, cooked perfectly. My friend had the bucket of ribs. I don't eat ribs, but he said they were cooked perfectly. Service was awesome!!!!!! They do get busy on saturdays. read more

Well this was absolutely a train wreck. We ended up here on Halloween as most places were closed. Just go here for drinks, peel and eat shrimp, and fries. The ribs had MARBLE size fat chunks and the fish sandwich was just poorly done - no seasoning. It was so gross. Very disappointing. read more

We waited close to an hour to be seated. Server did come to take our orders promptly. I was kind of suspicious when the food came out in less than 10 minutes. The food was marginal at best. Almost everything is deep fried and most likely pre-breaded and goes from frozen to the deep fryer. Very crowded with a younger beach-going crowd. Clamp strips were like breaded crumbs, very small pieces. Popcorn shrimp was overcooked. Philly cheese steak was unremarkable with au jus right from a Lipton onion soup packet. Excellent service. Food was delicious. Gorgeous beach view. We had the ribs and the shrimp & grits and a key lime pie for dessert. I think the only thing I'd change is to use real whipped cream (spray can is OK) rather than cool whip (yuk) on the pie. Recently came here on a family trip to Panama City Beach. The restaurant is huge and right on the beach with fantastic views. The food was good and the service was top notch! I ordered Fried Dill Pickles, Fried Cheese Curds, and the Shrimp Po Boy with fries. The fried dill pickles came with two packs of Kens House ranch dressing. The pickles were delicious and fried to perfection. The cheese curds came with a package of marinara sauce. The curds were great as well. The Shrimp Po Boy sandwich was spectacular. It was stuffed full of perfectly fried and seasoned shrimp with the perfect amount of tomato and lettuce. It came with a side of remoulade sauce that perfectly complimented it. Lastly, the service from Gabby was phenomenal! She was so pleasant, personable, and great with the kids. She kept the drinks topped off and checked on us regular. Ordered a blackened mahi house salad, among many other appetizers. The queso was tasty and the gator was as well. The blackened mahi was not blackened, it was just seasoned with blackening seasoning. (A $2 up charge) When asking our server about the preparation, she offered to bring over the manager to address my concern. The manager did not come and I was offered a small container of the seasoning instead. The beach view area looked nice but if you get sat in the back, the ambiance is really lacking. read more

To be a popular tourist attraction we were highly surprised at the excellent food! We ended up here twice due to a water break at another restaurant we were going to. We got the Al E. Gator bites the first time which I thought were good, my husband thought they were a little chewy but this was our first time eating alligator so they might typical. I got the Mahi-Mahi Po' Boy and my husband got the Mahi-Mahi tray. The second time we got the Shrimp Po' Boy and the Mahi-Mahi Po' Boy again. I will be dreaming of these Po' Boys for a while. Cooked to perfection, so flavorful, and must try it with the pineapple coleslaw and remoulade! The service is quick and the ambiance is wonderful. Went for a late lunch/early dinner out first day at the beach. We got a table on the pier quickly. The breeze and the view were amazing! Our server was nice and efficient but not overly friendly. He got our drinks and food out quickly and came back to check on us pretty often. Our group of 5 got mahi and grilled chicken sandwiches which are both highly recommended! We also got drinks. Pineapple of Willy's is always a must in Panama City beach Florida. The drinks are always elite and priced at such a good price. So this is the place to come with friends or on a very chill laid back date. So we vacationed with friends and had so much fun with friends on a Tuesday night. Tony and I went to have lunch at Pineapple Willy's in Panama City Beach FL. We were seated on the outside decking near the beach. The view was so lovely. The restaurant was extremely busy but we were greeted and seated quickly. We ordered our usual drinks a Budweiser Beer and my Half Half Iced Tea with Lemon and Lime. We ordered the Loaded Island Nachos with pulled pork and a pineapple mango salsa and it was delicious!!!! Very pleased with restaurant and very please with service. Food was terrific and different!!! Pineapple Willy's is a massively popular and massive sized eatery located on the beaches of tourist hot spot town Panama City beach Florida. My family and I was on vacation along with another group of family friends and we decided to it up one of the towns hottest and most visited food spots in pineapple willies. We had a party of 15 and arrived right at 4pm. The wait was over an hour. However from there massive gift shop you had plenty of stuff to keep you occupied. Our friends and their kids hit up the gift shop and made some Purchases. It was too overpriced for my liking. Most pineapple willy branded t shirts were around $25. I'd rather save that $25 for an adult beverage or an app. Anyways, we were seated on the very end of the pier portion of establishment. So we had awesome views of the ocean and beach from our seats. As large as this place was I have to say the staff was on it. Buzzing around and extremely quick with all drinks and getting our food and bills to us. For my family we splurged on the Souvenir cups. The kids got there drinks i a. Little pineapple willy head cup and my wife and I got the big adult beverage cups. I went with the lemonade adult bearer and my wife got a frozen orange lush. Both very good and surprisingly strong. Felt pretty good after downing mine and most of my wives. For entrees I personally got the bbq ribs that came in a pineapple willies beach bucket. Hey this place is top tier with the brand and logo placements. Anyways the ribs were very good and practically fell of the bone. It came with a piece of toast some tasty baked beans and some Cole slaw I gave away. My wife went with the Caribbean Salad which was huge and very filling. She was very satisfied with her choice. The rest of the kids got kids chicken tenders or popcorn shrimp and all were satisfied and enjoyed the food. Overall was a great experience. Cool place with fun vibes. We was skeptics at first because it's so popular and crowded and we was pretty hungry. We was expecting to be their all night waiting. But they were super fast and had great service. Cool spot. This place is getting all their stars just for the above and beyond service. The place is huge! Indoor and outdoor space. There was a long wait but we actually got seated in half the time we were told. (Under promise / over deliver strategy? I don't know) We sat outdoors and the view was great. We had our little 9lbs dog so I can tell you is dog friendly. The drinks were ok but better than the food. We had the platter and it was just ok. My kids had burgers and nothing supreme about them either. But the waitress was AMAZING!!! She had humor, she was attentive, made recommendations, even gave us a little bowl for our dog to have some water. She made conversation and she was genuine.
