The atmosphere is terrific. We were able to view a beautiful sunset from our table. Our server, Toni, was the perfect blend of attentive but not overly so. She was friendly and consistently helpful. We started with peel and eat shrimp, served cold and fresh, then we had fried shrimp which were perfectly battered and cooked beautifully. We finished with key lime pie, which was delightful. All in all it was as perfect a meal as i have had in a long time. The prices were quite reasonable as well. We strongly recommend this place. read more

I am always disappointed when I visit "trendy" or "commercial for the masses" restaurants. The location is perfect- right on the beach, the wait was expected -35-45min- but the food was not the best. I was expecting really fresh juicy shrimp in my Po'boy but instead I received medium, over breaded- non-seasoned subpar Shrimp on a dry hoagie/ roll/sub - even more upsetting they dubbed it "nawlins" style like New Orleans. The taste was a slap in the face-and not a good one. ALTHOUGH- With all that said,you get a lot for your money! It is better to eat outdoors as the view will make up for anything else in the interior decor and eating location is blah. But if you're looking to visit a landmark, this is it. 4 stars for the FUN beach activities and cold drinks. It's an easy place at which to enjoy the beach. Rent chairs and shade ($40/set), jet ski rentals, paddle boards, and banana boat rides are all there. We are tourists with kids ages 10,11,11,18 and then a suited all of us so nicely. We had lunch at the pier and it was ok. We'd definitely go again and recommend it. Parking can be hard so go early. Try the pineapple Willy drink! Buy one at $15 and refill for $10. read more

The famous Pineapple Willy's has always been a favorite for us, yes it's a must go to while staying at the Shores but things has changed and not in a good way. Don't get me wrong it's still go but something has changed with the island nachos, they used to GREAT now something is off. Service is still great! read more

I've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, but it's always so crowded! The location is ideal: it's right on the PCB beach, and there's plenty of seating both inside and out. Expect to wait longer if you want to sit outside than if you want to sit inside. There are no reservations; everything is first come, first served. We came here for lunch one day and, thankfully, didn't have to wait long. The inside is quite spacious, with lovely views of the ocean all around. We had their chicken nachos with a lime margarita, which were delicious. The Island Nachos are made differently than regular nachos. The tortilla chips are topped with onions, pineapple, red peppers, and cilantro, and are covered in white queso and chicken. They were very delicious. We also got the Caesar salad with shrimp and the blackened Mahi Mahi. Their Mahi Mahi was good too. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved this place. I usually avoid tourists traps like a "restaurant on the beach" but Pineapple Willy's was just too conveniently located to pass up. I will solidly admit....I DO NOT REGRET ANYTHING! Drove down from Fort Walton on a friend's recommendation. I was not impressed. To quote my 14 year old daughter "the food is mid". I had Mahi Mahi BLT. It was good not great and the fries were good. I was pumped to try their pineapple slaw but quickly realized it was KFC slaw with bits on pineapple in it. There is a reason it's 1.00. I don't think it was worth a 1.00. The tartar sauce was a Ken's packet. I like slaw and tartar sauce and both were disappointing. We also had gator for an appetizer and everyone enjoyed that as well. Service was quick, they know how to feed people. The view is very nice and the selling point for the place. It's a tourist spot, mid food,made fast, and not going to wow anyone. read more

The wait time here is worth it. It took about 20 mins to be seated for a party of 3. They have a covered outside and host stand because it does rain a lot in PCB. We sat down and our server wasted no time greeting us and bringing waters. She made sure our food came out correctly and promptly. I wish I could remember her name, but she was so pleasant. The best part of Willy's is location, location, location! A wonderful view right on the beach if you select the outdoor (pier) dining. We all ordered the Seafood Platter and it was really tasty with plentiful portions of everything....none of us could finish ours. My only note would be they should consider offering a homemade tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The prepackaged restaurant stuff they offer might save money but really takes away from the food. Our server was fairly attentive, given how crowded they were. We arrived at about 4:30 and had a 15 minute wait. Arrive early....parking is a bit tight. Overall, a great dinner. This location is right on the beach and you can access from the street and from the beach/ocean side. We stayed across the street. Definitely a biker's place. Food is typical bar food, service is slow because they are always packed. It's super loud but family friendly. They have the bar section building where it's more loud and then their other building is more comfortable it and better for families. They have great frozen drinks! read more

We all enjoyed our meals, I got the pulled pork it had a very smoky taste but it was still good. Everyone else got seafood and it was delicious. The pineapple nachos were a big hit too. I really wanted to enjoy this more and maybe I hyped it up too much in my head but I was simply unimpressed. Parking is an absolute nightmare and so confusing and that was my first impression and probably set the scene. The primary lot is on a main beach front corner and it's small and the second lot down the street is even smaller and was full, the extra overflow lot was locked so no luck there. Eventually we figured something out. The entrance/host stand was as chaotic as parking. I was luckily greeted by a friendly employee near the bar area entrance who I'm sure noticed I was confused and hungry and directed us where to go to ask for a table. Didn't have to wait too long for a table fortunately but it was a weekday lunch on a not so sunny day. Tons of indoor and covered outdoor seating with great views. With how everything went up to this point I wasn't expecting much with service but service was good. No real complaints there. Food came out quickly but was subpar in my opinion. Maybe it was what was ordered but our table ordered a few things so I'm just not sure the food is all that great. It wasn't super pricey or I would have been extra disappointed. Husband and I had the seafood platter for a late lunch. Plenty of fish, clams and shrimp with french fries and coleslaw. Could hardly eat all of it. Everything was fresh and tender. I was a bit skeptical coming to this restaurant because I heard it was just a tourist trap and I'm not a huge fan of seafood but I was very impressed and surprised at how much I loved it. I got the mahi mahi basket with a side of pineapple coleslaw while my boyfriend played it safe with the chicken strips basket. The waitress offered me many sauce options and I didn't know what to choose since I had never had fish before so I went with Tartar, ranch, and remoulade. I was a bit scared but when I took that first bite I was blown away. It was the most tender/juicy piece of meat I'd ever had. It has only a very slight fishy taste so it was like biting into a crispy chicken tender with the softest inside. AMAZING. Even better with Tartar sauce. If you've never had mahi, I 100% recommend trying it out. I fell in love. The chicken tenders were also good. I'm not sure what they use to fry things but it has such good flavor and crispiness. We also ordered a side of hushpuppies. These were so crispy and warm. So good! Try it with Tartar sauce if you order. Even got virgin pina colada daiquiris to-go. They're a bit cheaper than the menu price ($10 for large) since there's no alcohol and come in a souvenir cup! Wife and I were driving around to see what was in the area and wanted a drink so we saw this place was really busy so we decided to stop in. We sat out on the deck it was very windy but they have screens that he'll block the wind. Wife ordered the strawberry daiquiri and I ordered the Pineapple willy special. Both were good they come in three different dive plastic cups that can be refilled for a lower price if you bring the cup back any time. We were expecting this restaurant to be top notch, considering how packed it stays and how long the wait is. My husband ordered the Po'boy with French fries. The sandwich bread was a foot long. It had lettuce, tomato, and maybe 7 small shrimp on it. When it arrived it didn't have any of sauce on it or anything, just dry. The sandwich was basically just bread. Had the sandwich been smaller but more full, it wouldn't have seemed so skimpy. The sandwich was $16... definitely robbery! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was tender but flavorless. It was also way overly priced. I added bacon and cheese for $3 making the already $14 sandwich $17! I ordered chips with it, thinking we were going to get homemade chips but instead we got a bag of 99 cent chips. Just disappointing for the price. We will probably not go back.
