We stayed right next to here. Make sure you go early cause the wait can be long, but they have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside with a nice view of the beach. My whole family got shrimp baskets and they were really good. The pineapple slaw had one pineapple and was nothing spectacular. The service was excellent. She kept our drinks full the entire time and she was constantly running around to all her tables to make sure everything was in tip top shape. read more

We were in town in vacation and everyone kept telling us we had to go to pineapple Willys. When we got there it was quite a wait for outside and no wait for inside so we were promptly seated inside. Our waiter was awesome and provided a few recommendations. The fried alligator was awesome ! Had a local beer that was good. Had the BLT which was just a basic BLT but still good. Great place! I think we waited maybe 30 minutes for a table but we got drinks and pretzel bites and listened to live music while we waited. We sat outside which had great views of the ocean. Pineapple Willy's is just a place to come to for the chill beach vibes! I mean come on it's right on the sand, you are basically viewing the beautiful beach sipping good drinks! The food was very basic, which we didn't mind because we could tell upon arriving. We ordered black pepper mahi mahi Caesar salad and the Po' boy shrimp roll. We had to get a souvenir cup, so we got the medium size with frozen daiquiri (blue raspberry and pina colada). Refills are 10 bucks! On the way out, I stopped by their souvenir shop! We live in Galveston so when I saw the famous Jack Daniel's baby back ribs on the menu, I could not resist a bucket of them. $26 with pineapple cole slaw - so refreshing - and baked beans., which were delicious! We ordered fried pickles, jambalaya, mahi mahi, a Caesar salad with fried shrimp and a fried shrimp dinner. For as busy as they were on a Thursday night in peak season (7/31/25) we seven were seated quickly and served quickly. Everything was delicious and the gift shop got some of our $ as well. Tourist-y yes but good. Highly recommend! Great views & great food! Gotta insist on getting the ribs.
