I came here on vacation with my family, and we had a great time! The views are absolutely beautiful, and the wait to be seated was shorter than expected, which was a nice surprise. I'm a sucker for a sweet drink, and the frozen daiquiris definitely hit the spot; affordable, refreshing, and super tasty! As for the food, it wasn't my favorite, but it definitely wasn't bad either, just okay. Still, it's a convenient spot to grab a bite if you're in the area. We had a pretty good time at Pineapple Willy's. It was pouring rain when we went and pretty much all seating areas were covered which was nice. Definitely seems like more of a party place and was extremely busy with a wait, but even with the kids it was a great atmosphere. Right on the beach with great views of PCB and the ocean. Food was far better than I expected because of the "party place" vibes but everyone's meal was very good. Would go back for sure, just maybe earlier in the evening next time. read more

This restaurant has the blinkie call disk when your table is ready, so sit by the beach, go to the bar in the building next door (apps & drinks only with a live singer). Lots of general seating with tables too. A free-for-all! But they have servers to get you apps & drinks all night! Inside the main restaurant looks sort of like a cafeteria- nothing special & not the "beach vibe" expected when you see the outside, but still very nice & clean. A good menu, food is fresh & the service is really great!! I wasn't feeling so hot, so I got the chef salad & it was worth $9.00! My entire table loved their meal choices!!! Wings were fantastic!! Casual, but I saw my share of cute outfits that were a little more business casual. We walked from the condo, Ocean Ritz. Can walk on the street or beach. Exceptional food, awesome service! Excellent view of the beach! Open air dining right on the beach! Really cool! From the Pineapple Willy drink to the Island Nachos to the Mahi Mahi smothered in pineapple salsa and the shrimp dinner plate, it was all excellent! The red garlic mashed potatoes and the corn on the cob sides did not disappoint! This is by far the best place we visited for dinner. There was a small wedding taking place out on the beach which added to the dining experience. A bit expensive, but this is to be expected in a tourist town. Our first time at Pineapple Willy's was cool. We came here shortly after we got checked into our nearby hotel. The parking lot can be interesting but we located a park fairly easily! Whew & I was happy about this!!! Nor did it take long for my party of 3 to be seated. Win , win!! We opted to sit inside and we were able to capture a view of the beach. Service was fast and delightful. We placed our drink orders and placed our food orders shortly afterwards. No kidding, the food came out extremely fast!! I was scared bc it was too fast!!! We ordered mahi mahi basket , fried chicken sandwich and island nachos. I loved my mahi mahi basket. Unfortunately, my niece didn't love her nachos. She said they were cold and too sweet. My nephew did not love his chicken sandwich. We all equally enjoyed our frozen daiquiris. (Virgin for the kiddos). Yummy!! I had a Pina colada and a refill for $10 the next day! Yeah , that good and refreshing!! This is a popular spot. I recommend checking out if you've never visited before. I plan to return if only for the frozen drinks and views!!! read more

I was there this evening around 8 waiited for a text inside the bar had a beer with my fionc. no text after 45 minutes found out my name was off the list. to make it right they said we were at the top of the list come 9 pm no text. i would love management to look at the video and text info Dennis p if you need the number let me know. The 4 of us went on a rainy, busy day around 5pm. We waited in line for about 10 minutes to check in, some of the wait under a cover. Then they sent us to a really big bar area to wait. A server took orders immediately, drinks came really fast. We were amazed the craft beers were only $6! The daiquiri was $12 but fairly large. All drinks came in souvenir cups. We only had to wait 1/2 the 45 min we were originally told before being seated in one of the 4 dining areas. Again a server promptly took drink orders. Hubby & I split the Blackened Mahi with Pineapple Salsa, fries, corn on cob & Texas toast. We added a scoop of pineapple Cole Slaw & skewer of shrimp. All was really tasty except the fries were just average. My sis & hubby split the Shrimp & Grits which came with 2 skewers of shrimp. They said the grits were creamy with a little seasoning which paired well with blackened shrimp. Even with a full restaurant, our server was attentive and cheerful the whole time. I've been coming to Pineapple Willie's since I was a kid!! Each summer when I'm in Panama City, this is 1/2 of my MUST GO TOS!!! The ribs are phenomenal, the food comes out so quick.. the drinks are great. You buy the first drink in whatever size and get discounted refills when you reuse the cup. Great spot to get seafood by the busy pier in Panama City Beach. You cannot get reservations and parking is crazy during peak times, so plan ahead!!
