My mother had a very bad experience at the new indoor Pinecone. The owner/worker was beyond rude and the cones were stale!

I am so happy to see this level of coffeehouse light food in our area. My daughter is a Johnson and…read moreWales, trained professional chef in Aspen, Colorado. She and the three kiddos come to visit us at the beach every year, but needless to say taking them out to eat can be a challenge! Everyone loved union market! They are not easy to please lol we went the day. They were flying back home and we had a lovely breakfast outside. Everybody was able to order smoothies eggs whatever they wanted lots of coffee and pastries and it just made a wonderful ending to a great trip. Yes it was busy but our servers were helpful and friendly. I am so happy we found this place the kiddos say can we go back there every time they come!

I want to make this update to give one of the owners, Erin, a shout out. She reached out to me…read moreafter reading my review and I can tell she took it seriously. We had an honest conversation and she assured me that they will be addressing the behavior and working towards preventing these kinds of issues in the future. She did not ask me to take down my previous review or make this update. All she did was take accountability for her staff, tried to get to the bottom of it, and looked to remedy the situation. This is truly an example how a business owner should behave and so kudos to you! I can tell from our interaction that she takes pride in her business and wants everyone to enjoy their time there. Although I still stand by my last review, I also want to edit my statement that I would never go back. I would give them a second try if I'm ever back in the area just based on how this situation was handled by management. Hoping that changes can be made positively in regard to service so it could match up with food/drinks and overall ambiance.

I love getting everything from cold brew to lattes, and I also buy their coffee beans to have at home. They also serve food here, and their sandwiches are perfect for beach lunches. The space is warm and inviting, and it's a great spot for hanging out or working. My husband and I love it here so much that we even took a few of our engagement photos here a couple years ago. So if you find yourself on the island, make sure you go here!

I was really looking forward to trying this place, especially with the long line out the door, but…read moreit didn't live up to the hype. When we arrived, there was a QR code on the door to scan the menu, so we took the time to look it over while waiting. After finally reaching the counter, we were told that the coffee drinks we wanted are only available on Sundays. It was confusing and frustrating if the menu is limited on certain days, there should be some kind of notice before customers wait in line. Feeling rushed because of the line behind us, we ended up ordering two nitro cold brews (one with sugar‑free vanilla). Unfortunately, both drinks tasted exactly the same and were nothing special. Honestly, I could've made something similar at home and saved the $15. There are definitely better coffee options in the area. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, there was plenty of seating, and the food and sandwiches looked decent. But overall, the experience just didn't match the expectations.

I love that the menu here has quite a few hole ingredients! It was nice to order a coffee sweetened with maple syrup, and whole milk, rather than artificial and sugary, syrups, etc. The coffee was delicious! Not too pricey for the high-quality ingredients either. I would definitely recommend stopping in! There is not a lot of seating, but coming in on a weekday we were able to find a spot quickly, no issue.

Hidden Gem Alert!…read more Just off the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, on New York Avenue between Resorts and Bally's, sits one of those places that reminds you why local coffee shops matter. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast options hit the spot, and the baristas somehow manage to remember faces, names, and orders while keeping the line moving with a smile. It's the kind of place where locals grab their daily caffeine fix, visitors stumble upon a great find, and complete strangers end up having conversations like old friends. There's always a steady flow of interesting people coming through the door, giving the place a true neighborhood feel that's becoming harder to find these days. Whether you're heading to the beach, walking the Boardwalk, or just looking for a great cup of coffee and good energy, this spot delivers. Good coffee, friendly faces, beach-town vibes, and a genuine sense of community. In a city known for casinos and nightlife, it's nice to find a place where the star attraction is simply great coffee and great people. Do yourself a favor--stop in, say hello, and enjoy a cup. You'll be glad you did. "Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation."
