We had an honest conversation and she assured me that they will be addressing the behavior and working towards preventing these kinds of issues in the future. She did not ask me to take down my previous review or make this update. All she did was take accountability for her staff, tried to get to the bottom of it, and looked to remedy the situation. This is truly an example how a business owner should behave and so kudos to you! I can tell from our interaction that she takes pride in her business and wants everyone to enjoy their time there. Stopped on a Sunday on our way north from AC. The latte was amazing and my husband said his coffee was good too. I had the Green Day bowl. It was just okay. I wasn't overwhelmed. The avacado was very brown once I got to it and that turned me off. The eggs were just okay. I will say the potato chunks on the bottom were nice and crispy and probably my favorite part of the dish. Not sure we'd stop again on our way through, but maybe for coffee. read more

Wow, this place has changed a lot since they opened several years ago. When they first opened, we were so excited but after stopping by at that time, we were underwhelmed. The menu was limited to coffee and some pastries and it was very quiet. So quiet that I didn't know if the pastries were fresh. I decided to come by and check out the place again years later and wow! It has really grown into a hot spot! Eclectic decor, artisanal local products for sale, live music on weekends- it's a young energetic vibe. I hope this is the vibe that wakes up this sleepy town. We ordered a brown butter cheddar bacon scone, the hangry eyes platter (eggs, French toast, homemade jam, soft butter, sausage, bacon), chai latte, a smoothie and açaí bowls. They were all good. We had it to go since the live music already ended. We decided to come back the next day when the live music was on but we were only able to catch the last half hour while we waited for the food before he packed up. The sign said 45 min wait so we decided to take out, but the wait was just as long for take out.. If you come here and don't want to wait, order the takeout on your phone and then come pick up. There is a shelf outside for mobile pick ups. On this second visit, the food order was more of a miss. We didn't see the wrong orders until we got home and by then I didn't feel like going back. I ordered the pixie (breakfast sandwich with choice of meat and eggs). I chose pork roll for the meat but received sausage. It was good but I don't understand how they could have gotten that wrong. What if there were allergies? We also ordered the hangry eyes again but this time there was no homemade jam or butter. We were looking forward to the homemade jam! We still enjoyed our meals and these were small misses in the big scheme of things but I wouldn't want to order one thing and get something different each time I come! We went there for early lunch. It was relatively crowded. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and it was delicious. I had a root beer. The only criticism I have is more of a request. I wish they served soups. I bet they would do an amazing job with soups. I will definitely go again. read more

I will happily support this small business but was disappointed in the wait time on Morher's days. 90 minutes to get our food was way too long but I understand that maybe they were underprepared. Staff was friendly and the live music outside was enough to make us forget about the wait. When the food came out, it was delicious but it just took forever. Our party had the PIG, a waffle, a nj pork roll egg sandwich and a steam led egg bowl and we were all happy. We would definitely go her again but hopefully the wait time is a little shorter. This is a cute spot in the area. Decor is casual with an outdoor patio as well as inside pot and small store where you walk through to enter. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you Lots of good brunch options, coffee/tea. I got the Green Day (you can make it into a bowl, burrito, etc) and my fiancé got the Hank's Sammie. I used to love their french toast but the last time I ordered it, it was completely different and was not good. The service is meh. I am so happy to see this level of coffeehouse light food in our area. My daughter is a Johnson and Wales, trained professional chef in Aspen, Colorado. She and the three kiddos come to visit us at the beach every year, but needless to say taking them out to eat can be a challenge! Everyone loved union market! They are not easy to please lol we went the day. They were flying back home and we had a lovely breakfast outside. Everybody was able to order smoothies eggs whatever they wanted lots of coffee and pastries and it just made a wonderful ending to a great trip. Basking in the sounds of the seaport, I'm enjoying a black bean burger and a latte in the shade. I visit this spot each time in town for family. Tuckerton needed a spot like this. The Union combines the local flair and ingredients with more 'new American' and modern coffee shop offerings. The union resides in the Tuckerton Seaport and is adorned in local decor, progressive and welcoming signage. It's a breath of fresh air for this town. I'd probably nix the bbq sauce on the burger and add a little more seasoning next time around, but honestly, everything I've had here is fresh and delicious. read more

This is one of our favorite coffee shops. We love to stop in mid-week and sit down with a hot coffee, fresh pastry, and breakfast. It is always delicious and the food is high quality and delicious. We loved it so much we asked the owner if we could use the space for our wedding ceremony after hours in case of rain. They were more than accommodating with the request. This is for sure my new favorite breakfast/lunch spot. The union market came highly recommended by my boyfriend's sister so we made it our business to give it a try during our most recent LBI weekend. I literally wanted to order the entire menu everything sounded so good. They also have a very extensive coffee/smoothie/drink menu as well and a bunch of baked items/coffee beans to purchase to take home. Overall, the vibe is very cool since all the art work is very electric and everything is for sale! It was peaceful in February but I'm sure it gets packed during the summer. I had the avocado toast and an oat milk latte. The hot sauce on the avocado toast was amazing! My boyfriend had the notorious PIG. The French toast croissant was incredible and the homemade strawberry jam was the real winner. We also tried a pancake and my pro tip is use that strawberry jam on the pancake. The perfect bite. Everyone was also extremely friendly to us and never once rushed us to order or eat or anything. It was great. Can't wait to come back to try some other items on the menu! read more

The Union Market and Gallery at the Tuckerton Seaport is a cute little spot. About 6 tables inside and 6 / 8 outside. Every limited menu but we tried two items. The Chicken Cro-Mags salad sandwich is a homemade chicken salad with grapes, onions and apples on a toasted croissant. The pieces of chicken were nicely cubed. The sandwich was delicious . We also ordered the Help me Reuben. Nicely stacked pastrami, Swiss, sauerkraut and Russian dressing on marbled rye. Another excellent sandwich. Service was great. Staff was friendly. It was a pleasant surprise to find this wonderful coffee and breakfast place. I find it very difficult to find decent coffee places in Jersey Shore area. I didn't have high expectations based on past experiences but this place definitely exceeded my expectations. Lattes were beautiful and delicious. Avocado toast was a work of art. I had been meaning to come since I saw them on Instagram, and my family and I drove over an hour to get here. The wait for food was 40 minutes, which they let us know about beforehand. The coffee was good, the beans surprising from a roastery on the jersey shore, near me. The food was disappointing, especially give the price. It all tasted very homemade, not even an elevated.
